The smell of the various oils and car lubricants brings me back to my late grandpa who had a garage with tons of car tools. He fixed up anything from vintage cars to tractors. The manager, Ambrosio, checked my battery and then jumped my car because my car had died in the parking lot. After that, he checked the battery again to ensure the issue was my battery and not something more serious like my alternator. Luckily, it was just my 2015 dated battery that needed to be replaced. Ambrosio installed the battery in less than 10 mins and I was on my way. Will definitely come back next time I need anything car related.

As a single mother, I usually don't have the time or expertise to handle car maintenance myself. After purchasing the wipers, I requested the free installation and was told someone would be out to help. Since it was a quiet afternoon, I assumed the process would be quick. However, after waiting for around 20 minutes, Tom finally came out. He briefly attempted to remove the old wipers but quickly said, "I can't get it off, so you'll have to take it to your dealer to get it done." When I asked what made them difficult to remove, he simply repeated himself. It was clear he had no interest in completing the installation offered. My 10-year-old watched a quick 2 minute YouTube tutorial, and removed them in less than a minute. I returned into the store, and this time Geremy, the manager, stepped in. He was extremely polite and helpful. Not only did Geremy install the wipers, but he also took the time to show my kiddos how easy it was to do. If it weren't for Geremy's kindness and assistance, this review would have been much different. The rest of the staff were not very helpful, the wait was unnecessarily long, and Tom was anything but friendly, helpful or competent. A big thank you to Geremy for turning things around! Hopfully Geremy will train Tom on how to install wipers, as he appears to be gracious enough to do.

I was hopeful that this visit would begin to change my opinion about this establishment. But it did…read morenot. It was a long time after pulling up that someone even greeted me. And it was not at all busy. Loud music playing in the shop. Pretty unprofessional. Worst of all, I looked at the receipt after driving away and realized that they had mis-identified the vehicle and thus, installed the wrong amount of oil and possibly the wrong filter. I had to return and spend more time discussing the situation (had to talk to three people). None of the seemed to understand the problem. Last of all, there was a note that it was not possible to clean up the oil spilled during the work due to vehicle design. This, of course, is BS. In all, This was a bad experience which included lots of mistakes and unprofessional behavior.

I used this service for over seven years while living in Seattle. This is my long-term (and long…read moreoverdue) review of their service. First, I've always found Ace Auto to be courteous, honest, and clear with communicating the work that my cars needed (a 2013 Camry switching to a 2017 RAV4 Hybrid later). They've always been up-front about what work is critical versus what can be delayed until later. Second, the owners are dedicated to ensuring that cars are repaired and returned in a timely fashion. When COVID hit in 2020, they went in on the weekend to fix my RAV4 all so that I could get my car back on the following Monday as promised (which wasn't actually their fault as a supplier error caused the wrong part to be shipped initially, and the right part only arrived when the shop was about to close on Friday). Third, while the service provided might not be the cheapest, I have NEVER had to take my car back in to get a repair "fixed" because it was done improperly the first time. This was really important to me because my car was my main mode of transportation as a family caregiver. I'm sorry that it took me almost eight years and two different cars to get around to writing this review. On the other hand, I can pretty confidently say that you can rely on Ace Auto to make sure your vehicle stays in great shape over the years. Thanks guys.

They suggested I needed new brakes and a belt with the cost of those things. I was able to take time to Google if they were actually needed and opt through my phone if I wanted to have them changed. Their prices were clear from the start the price given over the phone when I made the appointment was the same price I was charged. They have a waiting area with couches that was packed downstairs and a few tables upstairs. Also they have WiFi. I was clear that I needed my car back in time to pick up my kids and they had two techs working on it to get it done in time! If not they have loaner cars available. I really appreciated not having to get a loaner and returning it. Next major service I'm going here! They know how to treat their customers correctly, and seem to be honest with what you need done.
