Excellent work here always, and I am kinda picky, I don't let a lot of people touch my cars but Werks 11 is one of them.

Unfortunately, I became stranded while traveling very far from home. My alternator belt snapped,…read moreduring a heavy rainstorm and I was by myself and unsure how I was even going to get home. I was referred to Mr. Mcnamara's shop and was able to get it to him pretty quickly. If you are in Temple Texas, I am telling you. Do not bother going anywhere else other than this shop. My car was fixed quickly and very thoroughly. Everything was checked to make sure that it was safe for me to continue and get home safely. The pricing was beyond amazing. I was also able to spend a time with an amazing receptionist and had a wonderful discussion on family and life in general. I was amazed at how delicate, caring and incredibly kind everyone was. Please make sure and give Willie, Max and the other two pups extra scratches for me. The opossums also. lol Thank the mechanic for working so hard and doing such a wonderful job! Thank you is not enough. Good people do exist. I FOUND THEM.

I gave McNamara Automotive 2 stars because when looking for a place to have my car repaired, I saw…read morethat Steve McNamara, the owner, just posted and warned that if you supported a particular politician he does NOT want your business and warns you that he will charge you "extra, a lot extra" if you come to his business. I'm a long time republican, but this just seems so wrong. If you agree with him politically, maybe he would repair your vehicle and charge you a fair price. If you don't, it doesn't seem like he warns you NOT to come to his shop. Even though I am a republican, this isn't the kind of business I feel comfortable doing business with, especially something as important as repairing my vehicle. I gave two stars because that's 40% of five stars. Talarico (the democrat in the bumper sticker he doesn't like) got 60% of the vote and won. The owner of McNamara Automotive, Steve McNamara, only wants business from the 40% that didn't vote for him. It's an odd business strategy. I wish him success however if you don't share his political views, I would not recommend trusting your next automobile repair with him or his shop.

I was having a lot of trouble installing a drivers side CV axle. I'm just not strong enough to do…read moreit. This is a repair that I needed to get done right away. After a lot bruises, scraped knuckles, some blood, sweat and tears I gave up. I started looking for a mobile mechanic. I was worried about having to wait a week for someone to come out here. That's what happened with the last guy I called to help me in a similar situation. After not showing up, then rescheduling twice he finally got to my house. His own tools actually broke while he was using them and ended up borrowing some of mine. I wasn't looking forward to another experience like that one. And being female, I'm a little leery of letting someone else work on my vehicle. I've had some not so pleasant experiences with men who thought I was clueless. I got tired of the bs stories. I started do my own maintenance and repairs. I haven't paid anyone to do anything to any of my vehicles since 1996. I called a few mobile mechanics on the list before I got to Ryan's name. He's the only one who actually answered the phone. He told me he could be here in 40 minutes. I was ecstatic! He showed up when he said he would be here. He is very friendly, has the tools needed to do the job and gets it done right away. I'm especially happy to report that Ryan didn't try to tell me stories about problems I know I don't have! Six hours after talking to Ryan, I still hadn't heard back from anyone I reached out to before him. I was about to post this review when I got an impersonal text message from one of the other mechanics I reached out to. "I can come tomorrow if you haven't gotten it already." That's it. No name, no "Thank you for contacting me", "I'm sorry I missed your call"... I'm keeping Ryan's name and number in case I need help again. Thank you Ryan!

Paid my deposit and never heard from him again. After repeated messages to him, 3 days later he claims to have gotten the starter, but that it was used and he would need to reorder. Proceeds to reorder and then goes silent again. Only after I threatened legal action did I get a response, almost a week after I paid my deposit. After replacing the starter and doing the oil change the car stops working within a day. Towed it to a reputable mechanic who says that Ryan short changed the car 2 quarts of oil, causing irreparable crankshaft and cylinder misfires. Basically, the engine blew because there wasn't oil.
