The wings were skimpy and not really worth it. The chicken and steak were both flat and thus both faster to cook. Meat overall was a bit chewy and tough, but again, that's upon delivery. It was savory, smoky, and downright addictive. I only wish I had more pita chips to scoop it all up. The hummus sampler was also delicious. We asked Marcelo for more bread and he delivered. For our mains, we ordered the mixed platter of meats and the short rib. Every morsel was perfection, so tender and flavorful it was unreal. Every bite melted like butter. I also then realized the side veggies were not what was on the menu (because they brought the wrong dish). I let the waiter know and he apologized. Mistakes happen and I was not going to insist on a new dish when I had eaten about 1/3 of this one. They did bring over a small cup of shredded crab meat and a sauce. Again, mistakes happen but what irked me was they didn't even adjust the price, charging me higher price for what I ordered, not the lower priced dish they served. I was not looking for a free meal or even a free dessert, but you don't correct the price on what you served??? Again, staff was all nice, but this is my second time there and second eh experience. Also the Mayonnaise too has been reportedly upgraded to a more "Creamier" version. The original Whopper has been around for decades and this is the first time it's ever been served in a box. My tastebuds and I all agree that the new version is clearly an upgrade offering a more enjoyable Burger experience. The new Bun is tasty and firm which holds together nicely throughout the entire session. I've never really been a big fan of mayo on my Burger but for some strange reason it's always worked well on the Whopper. Maybe it's all the Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, and Onions that go along with it but with that being said I do think that the new Creamier Mayo tastes better. Plus the upgraded packaging does keep it from getting squished which used to happen alot especially when larger orders were tossed in the bag. This was my first visit to this BK which went well as I found service to be friendly and efficient at the Drive Thru. I just tried the new improved edition of the Whopper and I must say that I was pretty impressed. The new bun is a massive upgrade. It's moist, firm and holds together well. The presentation was a major improvement as well. It now comes in a cardboard box and is half wrapped with BK theme paper for easy handling. The quality of the pattie and toppings, lettuce, onion and tomato seem to have been ungraded a bit as well. Definitely seemed to have a fresher taste than before. This particular location is almost brand new. It's clean, bright and well appointed. The staff is very efficient and personable. I don't eat too much fast food but I wouldn't hesitate ordering a Whopper the next time the opportunity presents itself. Give it a try.
