We stopped here on a road trip and this place beyond horrible. Quality and customer service is 0/10. Staff is on their phones. Side conversations. Profanity use. And completely slow. Our vehicle couldn't go through the drive through as the clearance was too low for our vehicle. We arrived here at 9:27p. According to the sign it says the dining area is open until 10p. We were met with unnecessary attitude. And we were told they were short staffed. Apparently this has been an issue for months as another review listed this very same incident(which we realized after leaving). There is definitely a leadership issue here. If we hadn't eaten since earlier in the morning we would've just left but I had kids with me that needed to eat. Even after our food was made horribly. I'm hoping management sees this and does something to correct this. read more

Customer service during Monday 5/10 between 10-11 needs significant improvement. I have put in a complaint with corporate which I hope they will address. Food was cold and was not made as order. The customer service was pleasant, didn't have to wait long!. The renovation was nice the ambiance was cleaned and cleared up, the food was piping hot like straight from the fryer etc. The burger to the nuggets, they filler your drink up to the rim! as it should be ice or not! . This location isn't skimpy on sauce they give you extra! without a charge or a look like didn't I give you one already! Extremely slow service, so bad the manager came out and helped the staff in the empty restaurant. Fries under cooked. Toilet leaking in restroom and dining room floor incredibly sticky. Won't be going into a Wendy's again anytime soon. read more

Website says the dining area is open until 1 am. The hours posted on the door list the dining area as being open until 10pm. However, we arrived at 9:50pm and both doors to the dining area were locked. We told the staff person at the window it wasn't 10 pm yet and all he said was they were short staffed. read more

I Placed a order that I noticed was incomplete once I pulled off from the drive-through, I drove back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager named Adorna, who was rude and very insulting, she actually said it was my fault that it was missing because it was a add-on, she showed no respect, terrible customer service. The Wendy's on Central Ave in Capitol Heights MD might possibly be the worst location in Prince George's County. I ordered thru the app for the first time last night and when I arrived at the drive thru window I was told there was no record of my order. The unprofessionalism that transpired by the staff was to the point I just canceled my order and drove off. It seems the customer service is better during the day, but that's usually if you're waited on by one of the Hispanic employees. I will try the app one more time to see if I have better results, and try to avoid late night trips to the drive thru. read more

Sorry. I have to agree with majority reviews. We stopped in Sunday, arround noon. It was presented as a grand (re)opening of the restaurant by the banners outside, but all was in total disarray. The counter people appeared untrained and confused. There were only two customers at the counter and they were still there when we decided to leave after standing in line and using the restrooms (where the automatic paper towel dispenser was malfunctioning). We'll look for food elsewhere. A large family also came in and after observing the delays, also decided to leave. Strangely the HC designated parking space were not the closest to the entrances. We had stopped in on a whim and left with the feeling that we had just visited the worst fast food restaurant in the nation. read more

I've tried this Wendy's a few times because it is near my job. After several visits I've concluded that I will NEVER go here again!! The inside is always closed and when asked they say they're understaffed THAT DAY. Service is horrible. I orders my food and wasn't asked what drink or said I wanted before the guy said "Drive around" so I remainder him that he hadn't asked. I was literally in line for 30+ minutes. I only didn't leave out of the drive thru line because there were cars behind me so I was stuck. When I got to the window I could see that there were at least 5 different employees inside so I can't understand why someone couldn't have worked the inside register. When I finally got my food and my fries were so cold I had to spit them out as I was driving. Either do better or just shut down!!!! I wish I could make this NO STARS read more

It is difficult to understand how one place can get orders so consistently wrong. Order a burger without cheese and there is a 90 percent chance you'll get cheese. Tonight I ordered a Dave's Single with pickle, lettuce, mustard. Got home and found it had ketchup, mayo and onion. Always check your order before you leave. I type this review as I sit in my car waiting in what's epically the LONGEST line I've seen here. I prefer Wendy's over McDonalds...so I wait. Unfortunately, there's always a wait here. I've been a resident in this area for years & the quality of employees who work here lack the ability for expeditious service. They all work in what seems to be...slow motion. The line is literally wrapped around the entire restaurant & you'd think they'd be some sense of urgency. There is none. I don't frequent here as often as I used to because I'm spending a large portion of my time just waiting in line. Perhaps a complete overhaul needs to be done with re-training the employees here and adequate management needs to be visible. I come from the service industry where serving the public is a priority. That's not the case here. read more

The hundreds of one star reviews are comically bad, and they are all share elements of real truth, but obviously written by people passing through who had the sad misfortune of stopping here while on the road. Like the guy from NY who wrote "This is by far the worst location.". The folks who actually live here know there is a Wendy's 10 miles north on 301 in Bowie that is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE WORSE. That place took the Wendy's franchisee manual and DEEP FRIED IT. Not sure when this location started verifying your order at the second window but the young man, that was not properly uniformed (wearing a black bomber coat and white tee), he asked what I ordered. After verification, he handed me my order. I noticed there weren't any sauce that I already asked for. When I asked for some, he proceeded to say "you're capping, I already put some in there" I checked and was 100% sure he did not. He then handed me the sauce that was missing. My concern is how freely he put the blame on me that I would lie over sauce. This location is convenient but it's not worth that kind of service. read more

i agree with the other comments from Yelpers about this Wendys. Don't waste time eating here. The workers here are terrible. The cashier has trouble hearing your order and will miss up your order every time and it takes 30 mins or longer to get your food. The management here is no better and the kitchen always looks dirty (watch how the employees work and yall be disappointed) plus i never observed any worker cleaning tables in the dinning room which by the way looks like the place hasn't been updates in 20 plus years! read more

This is by far the worst location. I went there for lunch and waited 15 minutes for a the burger and drink. I ask for no bun, it had a bun. I asked for a Diet Coke, they gave me regular. My daughter & I attempted to patronize location near Home Depot, we placed our order after a 16 minute wait & paid but the young lady preparing fries dodnt have on a mask I requested the Mgr and he approached window, I wanted to know where was her mask and she replied, she didnt like it. I requested a refund. The Mgr didnt apologize or correct the problem and we departed. I'm researching how to report this location to the Health Dept, very, very irresponsible. read more

The DRIVE THRU LINE IS ALWAYS LONG even when it isn't. It could be 3 cars or 10 cars you will still wait forever. Going inside won't change the outcome. You get inside and they are cursing and talking, discussing smoking each other out and who is currently not getting along at the Wendy's. How they hate the managers and the manager on duty is even discussing this. The person taking your order CAN NEVER HEAR. Several people have come inside that have had things missing from their order that were originally in the drive thru. They keep talking about "faggies" when referring to each other. RUDE and discrimination. The manager just told the employee he will fuck him up during their conversation. They can't wait to get outside to smoke. BTW I am still waiting for my order that will be incorrect when I get it. I'll just start driving to a different location that isn't near my house. Maybe once every 5 times I get hot food that is correct..... *15 mim later and I am still waiting* I've said something to the staff at this point.
