The hostess/ front of house boss, who was operating from the bar of this 10-12 table location, was gracious and endearing (in the way that an almost overbearing host can be- that meant as a compliment). The drinks took a minute, my fiancé's salad needed blue cheese brought out as it was left off (single most off-putting thing: the waitress, I suspect language mastery being the cause of this rather than malice or willful deceit, flat out told her that blue cheese did not come with the wedge salad...but when boss lady at the bar was asked, this was quickly corrected), there was a heavy does of reggae music. All of this less than optimal. The food was very good, though I can't remember off the top of my head what I had (it's been a month). Nor did I take pics: it seemed like it'd detract from the experience. There weren't any complaints about the food from others. (So I went back and looked at the menu: potstickers as an app- pretty good; baked local seafood as the main- good, but it is what it is in that not a ton of nuance added so as to let the seafood do the talking. The portion was decent for the price. I didn't leave stuffed, but for $38, very reasonable.) All in all, the first visit merits a second visit next year (as the website says they are temporarily closed to seek new management).

As appetizers we shared the Farmhouse (potato) Skins and the Fried Fish Bites. Yummy for both of these treats! As the main - he opted for the Corned Beef Reuben, I, the Fish and Chips. She was on-point with the recommendations! The food was delicious. Piping hot and came with all the right accoutrements. The staff even loaded my car with the catering order and ensured it was secure so it would not get destroyed during the ride. Everyone was so nice and professional. Could not be more pleased. The hot dogs are pretty good. They're nothing completely out of this world, but they're definitely worth trying. We ordered the Glendon Beach Dog, the Sonoran Dog, and the West Dennis Dog, and the Glendon Beach Dog was by far our favorite. The real star of the menu, though, was the Dirty Fries. They are absolutely gigantic and so worth the price. Honestly, for Cape Cod, the prices here are actually pretty reasonable, which I really appreciated. Another thing I really appreciated was that they accommodated us even though we showed up about 10 minutes before closing. The service was awesome, and they were still incredibly welcoming. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area that adds to the whole experience. And I have to mention the lemonade because it was SO good. It was incredibly tart, sour, and refreshing, which is exactly how I like my lemonade. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area or visiting the Cape. How could we get our food so fast? Well we checked our food before we were headed to the beach (luckily) and the food was cold, dry, awful and clearly precooked (on a very slow night. the French fries were not even the slightest bit warm. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and raw items were prepared so well and clean. Everything was so incredibly fresh, I'm sure the seafood is handpicked and brought in daily (hourly?) for customers. The fried clams was a little too much fried fare for my son; after he finished, he complained that he ate too much fried stuff and wished he got something boiled like we had, but we shared and in the end he agreed it was all really good. Since we came at the end of summer season, they were running out of bottled alcoholic drinks; I wanted something to pair with the seafood, but the options I chose were all out. They said they eventually stop putting in orders and start again the following spring season to not keep unused inventory over winter. Service was straightforward and done with a smile. The wait staff is continually busy, whether taking orders or clearing dishes away promptly without being asked. The ice cream downstairs feels like a decadent treat after such a meal, but you can share a cone with friends and it doesn't count, right?? Overall a terrific experience. Most of their sandwiches have a gluten-free roll available for an extra two dollars. If you have a severe gluten allergy/ celiac disease, I probably would not risk most of the menu items. Thankfully, we were also able to order a rice bowl with plain swordfish and had no allergy related side effects afterwards. The kids menu is also great for options for littles while dining here. The view is nice, crowded if you're seated outdoors but the staff is awesome which makes it feel more like you're going to a friends house to eat.
