Mushroom Garlic Burger 3PD

It's my third time in Hyannis and my first time here. I'll definitely add KKatie's to the must return to list. Great service. And our food was truly amazing. The freshest french fries that you can tell were cooked in the cleanest oil. I had mushroom garlic burger. No shortage of mushrooms. The angus was delicious. My friend had the horseradish peppercorn burger and the horseradish sauce is so good I want to dip my fries in it! And let's not forget the pickle spear with the perfect amount of crunch!

Great menu!

The food hit the spot before heading to Shanties and the ferry. Outdoor service was quick and ambiance off the sidewalk was fitting on a fall day

I will be back to Katie's burger bar. I love sports bar, the atmosphere is casual & entertaining. The bacon cheese burger was really good.

We had a very decent meal at KKatie's. We travel to Hyannis for work and live in a hotel which means we eat out A LOT. I was going to say "essentially live in a hotel" but there is no essentially about it. We, being the innovative broads we are, decided to make lemons into lemonade and use our unique position as an opportunity to sample every single restaurant in the area. As we are making our way down the food establishments on Main St, we made our way to KKatie's last week. It was a pleasant August evening and thus we elected to sit outside. The comings and goings on Main are both entertaining and distracting. Our server was very nice and provided excellent service. We, as we typically do, decided to start with some cocktails. They have a margarita menu so it seemed safe enough and I ordered a jalapeno marg. GF is on a major dirty shirley kick and ordered one of those. My jalapeno margarita had about 1 jalapeno slice floating around and was not spicy in any way whatsoever. It actually was WAY too sweet. When I first said this to GF at the table she made a face because if you know me, I have the palate of a toddler and LOVE sweet shit. GF tried it and was like "this is a jolly rancher in liquid form". It was not good at all. I was pleased with the vegetarian options on the menu. We ordered the pretzel sticks as an appetizer and these were pretty good. The outside was maybe a touch overdone and the texture was slightly off for a "soft pretzel" but I will never turn down bread dusted with salt. I'm starting to sound like a broken record here but I firmly believe that pretzel sticks should have multiple dipping sauces for variety sake. This place only offers beer cheese but I will concede that if you only offer one, it better be fucking beer cheese. This dish typically has bacon but they were able to omit this at our request. GF and I both ordered the veggie burger. I elected to swap the side with a salad for the plumbing. GF ordered a side of curly fries which were EXCEPTIONAL and both of us could not stop eating them despite being uncomfortably full. This place would have been a solid 4 stars if it weren't for the terrible drinks.

If I had to look at another cup of clam chowder or a lobster tonight I was going to go completely mental. So on the rec of a local foodie we went to KKatie's. Super solid burger place with a great beverage program. And they nailed the medium rare.

Hell Burger and Truffle Fries

The service is absolutely terrible! The only redeeming factor here was that food was amazing! We stood waiting for to be helped for a while before finally just seating ourselves with no clue really what we were supposed to do! Took a long time but we had finally ordered food for two adults and kids! The waitress brought over only 2/4 lemonades so as you can imagine that started the arguing! She then brings over mozzarella sticks with NO plates, NO silverware nothing...and puts it infront of 4 starving children who then obviously start screaming again (also still waiting for 2 more lemonades). Finally I had seen a bucket of plastic forks which I had helped my self too with napkins for makeshift plates for everyone. Soon after our entrees and remainder of drinks finally was brought over by a different waiter along with silverware! Honestly the food is the only reason they got 2 stars! My Hell Burger was amazing and cooked perfectly and so juicy! The truffle fries were decent but not worth the extra $$.

Very, very glad we picked KKatie's Burger Bar! Service: Very helpful, friendly and pleasant. FOOD: we had a Galic Mushroom Burger and a Turkey burger, both very delicious, the koslow was very nicely prepared. And the fries, tasted fresh and NOT TOO OILY! LOVED IT. That turkey burger though...ok, I LOVE turkey burgers, unfortunately its VERY hard to find a good Turkey burger, in NYC I only know two spots that serve good Turkey burgers and they are not consistent with the flavors. I was skeptical when I was told by one of the staff, "they are good, I eat them all the time." But damn it, it was YUMMY! This place has both; good food and great service! Thank u for the positive experience with food here! The only place where we really loved the food.

Good burger joint. Decent selection, good service. Nothing fancy, open seating in a fast food restaurant.

And unfortunately I didn't take any pictures because we tore into the food like rabid animals! We started off with a combo of Toro belly, thinly sliced with a saucy garnish that was just heavenly, and it comes with a side of tuna tartar. More than worth the $22 for the appetizer. The melt in your mouth tuna was divine. And given the season, my fried rock shrimp are back, and those are always a crowd pleaser at the table. A burrata and fried eggplant appetizer with pesto and eggplant purée rounded out our " we wanted to sample appetizers" mood. And in the vein of not bypassing a pasta dish - shells with Jonas crab and corn in a creamy and buttery and decadent Parmesan sauce was our main course. We opted for not going for an entrée because we shared three appetizers and this stupid delicious pasta dish. Service was hilariously professional, caring and didn't miss a beat! Be advised that one quick change is the four dollar charge if you want a sample of wine before you order a glass. A practice not usually seen, however, they've institutionalized it. Just be aware that you need to go and knowing exactly what wine you want. Otherwise you'll wind up returning your glass I suppose but I don't know if they'll charge you for a full glass once you've tried it if you didn't like it. Worth asking. All in Leonessa is almost perfect in every way. Food you want to eat and food you crave long after the meal is done. (don't bypass the crème brûlée.!)

Both drinks were very good. After our drinks were served, I asked our server a few questions about the portion size of the calamari. Since we were still undecided about our selections, the server left us to consider our options. Once we had made our choices, however, we had difficulty getting the server's attention. My companion had to first motion to the server and eventually call out to get their attention--three times! We both started with a cup of New England Clam Chowder, although I ordered a bowl with my meal. There is definitely a noticeable difference in portion size between the cup and bowl. The chowder itself was excellent--thick, flavorful, and delicious. For our entrées, we selected Clam Strips and Calamari, both as side-dish portions. The food was very good, as were the drinks. Overall, we enjoyed the food, drinks, and beautiful harbor-side patio setting. Unfortunately, the service was only just okay, primarily because of the difficulty we had getting our server's attention after we were ready to order.

Everything else was standard. Something I noticed when our guests were being served chowder in these large mugs. The mugs were filled to the brim with their chowder, but the served had stuck the soup spoons into the mug where the chowder went halfway up the spoon so you had to clean the handle before you could use the spoon. I ordered a fried fish sandwich and this is what I got. Mind you, there was a person preparing this dish, a server who picked it up, placed it on her tray and put it down in front of me and no one noticed that the fish had been burned? Did I send it back? No. I simply didn't eat it. If they cared what I thought, it would't have been served. What a disgrace.
