DOs Amigos on the right and Pineapple Painkiller on the left

Wife and I stopped by for dinner and we started out with two drinks. The Dos Amigos (Casamigos blanco & sauza blue agave tequila, grapefruit, aperol, lime, ginger simple) and Pineapple PainKiller (House-infused pineapple rum, cream of coconut, oj, fresh pineapple, nutmeg). Both were very good and strong but not to strong. The bread service with the oil is always very tasty. Wife got the pulled pork sandwich without the cole slaw and I the margherita pizza. The Pizza was cooked perfect, the pulled pork sandwich looked sort of small. Maybe it was because she got it with out the slaw and substituted the fries for green beans. All in all the experience was a good night out for dinner. Waitress was pleasant and very accommodating.

The crispy chicken was so good!! There was wayyy too much dressing so next time I'd ask for it lighter. The crispy tortilla chips were also great and I'd definitely order it again.

Helllo Yelpers! Greetings from Cape Cod, MA! Today's review is a good one. Service: When I first arrived I notice the place was not as busy. I asked for a table for one and was seated in a nice booth. I was greeted by a very nice young lady, who was extremely polite. I could tell she was in school and working hard. When she checked on me and the food, it was always done with a smile. She was willing and very patient when asking about food items on the menu. When she came to check in, it was just enough to where it wasn't annoying. Food: The menu was very well diverse. It had American Cuisine to Jamaican options to Italian. I started with a Stewart's Orange Cream soda. It was perfectly chilled. This sounds quite silly, but when drinks are too cold or not cold enough, it makes a huge difference. Next, I started with a cup of clam chowder. The smell was amazing; however, it was a bit too salty for my taste. Even adding the oyster crackers to it didn't off set the saltiness and the thickness of the soup. For the main dish, I ordered the Jambalaya. It was different than what I am used to, but still had good flavor. I was disappointed when it was more of a tomato, chicken, and shrimp combo with rice instead of a jambalaya. In my order, it only had probably a handful of sausages. For dessert (even though I was extremely full), I had the peanut butter thing. It's really what it's called. It was definitely amazing! Ambiance: The place has indoor and outdoor dining. It looks to have just been renovated, so everything still looked pretty new. The art work on the walls were not overwhelming and were simple touches to give the place a welcoming warmth. Overall, I gave this place 4 stars. It's really the service and the dessert that made me rate it as such. Hope you all enjoy and happy travel adventures!

Came in on a Saturday night after the mall closed. Restaurant is located at the mall on the ground floor so there were plenty of parking spaces. Very spacious inside and large both seatings that's good for large groups. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We got the sheet pan nachos, house burger and a veggie burger. The nachos were plentiful and both burgers were cooked perfectly

This year we came back because of how outstanding last year was. I ordered the chili again, even though I knew it meant I probably wouldn't eat my whole meal. My friend ordered the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries. She said it was probably the best fish and chips she's had. Now... for my meal... I am not exaggerating... BEST meal I have EVER had. Ever. I had the cod. Baked. With pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with roasted potatoes and spinach. So flaky. So tender. Perfectly cooked. The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. A gentleman also checked in... not sure if he's a manager or owner. This is a top notch place. I'll definitely be back.

The lemon pepper wings were hardly seasoned. Also they were very dry. I could barely taste the lemon flavor. My fried cod fish sandwich was delicious though! With the exception of the wings every thing else was pretty good. Including the scallops and rice. They have lots of available parking. Can't comment on the dining in experience. Everything was called in for pick-up. So I would give this restaurant a 3.5 rating.

The chefs are true artists, imagining and executing haute cuisine with skill, precision, and personality. We opted for the optional caviar starter course, which was brilliant. The caviar, served with Pringles potato chips and tangy egg salad, was an exquisite introduction to the tasting menu. The house-made sourdough focaccia with homemade butter may have been the best bread we've eaten. The dayboat scallop was pan-seared and paired with ginger whey-poached pork belly, Anson Mills Carolina Gold lobster congee, and a sake-soy veil. It was incredible. The peas and carrots course of Thumbelina carrots, sweet peas, whipped coconut, and carrot-mint consommé was unlike anything we've experienced before. It was inspired. The fluke was sorrel brioche-crusted and accompanied by razor clam escabeche, sauce romesco, and sea beans, was magnificent. The chef spoke about harvesting the local sea beans himself, and the razor clam purveyor happened to be dining alongside us. It was a memorable and distinctly Cape Cod moment. The intermezzo was a cranberry membrane filled with a refreshing burst of vodka, and delightfully cleansed the palate. The optional foie gras bonbon, encased in milk chocolate, was another triumph. We agreed we would have missed out had we passed on it. It was one of the finest foie gras bites we've ever enjoyed. The tri-tip sirloin course featured American Wagyu with sweet onion soubise and toasted ramp-and-vinegar gnocchi. "Amazing" hardly begins to describe it. The Humboldt Fog cheese course was dramatically torched tableside and served with blueberry shallot jam, toasted milk bread, and smoked almonds. Sublime, artistic, and utterly delicious. The included dessert course featured caramelized white chocolate, lychee, pink guava sorbet, macadamia toffee, white chocolate gel, and olive oil sponge. It was unbelievably good. An optional dessert accompaniment, ordered by every diner, was a layered chocolate, shortbread, and banana tart topped with caviar was a playful and fitting finale. The charming atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent music had diners on their feet dancing between courses. We finished with their homemade Mignardises and were given a lovely packet to take home which included a homemade scone. This restaurant is wildly civilized. Many courses were served on beautiful handcrafted pieces from Scargo Pottery in Dennis collaboratively designed by the chef and the talented Scargo artist Tina Holl. I offer only praise and gratitude for the extraordinary food, welcoming atmosphere, talented and artistic staff, and a dining experience that reminds us how exceptional Cape Cod dining can be. Clean Slate delivered one of the most memorable meals we've had anywhere on the Cape.

My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.

**Extremely Disappointing Birthday Experience**…read more I have been to emBargo before and have generally enjoyed my experiences here, which is why I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday weekend. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment, especially considering our bill was approximately $225. One of the biggest issues was the lack of attentiveness from our waiter. At one point, I needed a fork to eat my meal. One of my guests was heading to the restroom and specifically told our waiter that I needed a fork. I waited approximately five minutes, giving him more than enough time to bring one over. Instead, he continued having a conversation with another employee while I sat at the table unable to properly eat my meal. Eventually, I had to get up from my own birthday dinner and find a fork myself. Only after I got up did someone attempt to assist me with the utensil. Then, at approximately 9:35 PM, our waiter brought the bill to the table even though no one had asked for the check. I found this especially off-putting because this was clearly a birthday celebration, and we had not indicated that we were finished. We weren't even given the opportunity to order dessert or continue celebrating. The waiter had also mentioned that his shift didn't end until around 11 PM, making me even more confused as to why we were essentially being rushed out more than an hour beforehand. When I paid the approximately $225 bill, I left a $15 tip and wrote a note explaining why. I normally tip more than 20%, particularly when I receive good service, but I did not believe the service that evening justified that amount. What happened afterward was what truly ruined the experience. After seeing the tip and my note, the waiter came back to our table and confronted us about it. He raised his voice and argued that we should not have given him the tip we gave him because he believed he had provided good service. When I attempted to explain the problems we experienced, he put his hand up toward me, said that he didn't want to hear it, and walked away. That was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. A customer should never be confronted or yelled at because an employee disagrees with the amount of a discretionary tip especially after the customer has already explained the service issues. I understand that this waiter was relatively new and had only been working at the restaurant for approximately six weeks. I can absolutely give someone grace for being new. What I cannot excuse is confronting a customer over a tip, refusing to listen to their concerns, and walking away dismissively. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I was a returning customer. I have recommended emBargo to friends, colleagues in banking, investors, and other people in my professional network because of my previous experiences here. Unfortunately, after the way my birthday celebration was handled, I can no longer comfortably recommend this restaurant. I specifically chose emBargo for a special occasion. Instead of leaving with a great birthday memory, I left feeling rushed, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend emBargo for birthdays or other special celebrations unless management addresses how situations like this are handled.
