This has got to be the worse fast food Wendy's I've ever been to. As soon as I drove up to the drive thru they said "I will be right with you but it's going to be awhile". I can only assume the 3 cars ahead of me that drove away without their orders must have gotten the same message. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. I chose counter service & found the disorganized service & wait ridiculous & the app deals are frustratingly impossible to use (staff never knows how to scan or make them work) but the food is served hot and fresh. Baconator was still a mouthwatering experience. Just have to set an expectation that you will be helping the Wendy's team members fulfill your order & "fast" is no longer a description of "fast food." read more

It's a sad world we live in these days. Over $10 for a combo meal to eat garbage. Ordered the new chicken wrap with fries. Order took a little while which I understand, labor is tough everywhere. However, they had to make the grilled chicken fresh so it took even longer. No biggie, right? Wrong. Someone must have set French fries aside because they were cold and cardboard like. Disgusting! The wrap was sloppy and wrapped poorly so that fell out onto my lap. It was not a good experience and I don't recommend this Wendy's. read more

Not only did I have the best Wendy's chicken sandwich of my life here, but my drive through server Earlene was the bomb! She talked to me like we were old friends and totally made my night. I'm also shocked at how good that sandwich was, all the food I ordered was excellent (right temperature, texture, flavor), but that chicken sandwich was unbelievable. read more

Waited over 20 minutes in the drive through. People were leaving the line behind me from waiting less time than myself. I hadn't eaten much becuase of work so I stayed in line. It was not that busy. Waited over 30 minutes for a single kids meal. Staff had no initiative, customers were standing in line waiting to order for over 15 min and ended up just leaving. They had no cashier on duty so they couldn't even access the register. Dining room was completely filthy as well as the bathrooms. The "manager" who was working was completely clueless and couldn't even get the registers to work either. Very very unprofessional and will not be returning any time soon. Took them five minutes to tell me they didn't have my order another five minutes to tell me they had my order but it was a lobby pick up and they couldn't give it to me in drive-through. Can I give this zero stars?! I don't usually write reviews, but this is necessary. I just had the worst Wendy's experience ever. I just visited this location and my experience was terrible from beginning to end. There were about 5 cars, at MOST, in front of me and we were at a complete standstill for a good ten minutes. It very slowly moved after that. I'd estimate I was in line for at least 20 minutes. I got to the order screen and wanted to order a #6, spicy chicken sandwich meal with a coke. I was told there weren't any spicy chicken sandwiches, or coke available, only water or lemonade. I then asked for a strawberry lemonade and a home style chicken sandwich. I was then informed there wasn't any strawberry lemonade. I ordered a chicken nugget kids meal with a fruit punch. I was told there wasn't any fruit punch, but they could give me a juice box. I said that's fine. Finally, I get to the pick up window and they tell me to pull forward to wait for my food. I sat there for about 10 minutes when finally someone brought the food, but NO drinks. He said he'd get them. I waited another 10 minutes or so until a girl came out with the drinks, but in the meantime while I was waiting for her I noticed I was given a cheeseburger. I let her know and she said she'd get me the chicken sandwich , so I waited some more. Meanwhile, my daughter started eating, and complained the food was cold. We get home, the food was beyond cold. The "fruit punch " that was supposedly going to be in box form, was in a cup and tasted like flavored water at best, so she wouldn't drink it. I took a bite out of my chicken sandwich and it was pink inside. Oh, not to mention they didn't give my daughter a toy which was the whole purpose of the kids meal. I'm absolutely disgusted with this experience and the food. Mind you, it was about 5:30 pm when I went, so I doubt they were out of all they said they were. It appeared that there were a bunch of teens working. I don't know where management was, or how they could get away with the lack of quality service and good. I have been going here for years and the past 3 months have been pathetic. I don't believe it's staffing as they are falling over each other at the window. The last 3 consecutive times I've been there, they have screwed up every order thus leading me here out of disgust. The drive through time is pathetic. The staff are rude. They barely grunt at you. Out of baked potatoes so ordered large fries. Fries were soggy and portion was skimpy. Taco salad was good although chili was thinner than some locations. Burgers tasted like they had been sitting a while. Staff were very friendly but did not compensate for sub-par food. I am a fan of Wendys but this location did not meet expectations. read more

This is a hit-or-miss location. There are times that it can be super busy and loud/messy and then there are times that it is quiet/clean. I realize that it is located as a "pad site" I believe they are called in a strip mall parking lot, but I would think that they would be able to better plan for the highs and lows of their business cycles. I had to write this review this evening for a fantastic employee by the name of Morgan! I had the pleasure of being waited on her at her soon to be old job at Wendy's. I had a special dietary need that her manager was less then enthusiastic when asked about accommodating my request. Without hesitation Morgan stepped up and offered to leave the register and make me a special salad that met my needs. When she brought it to the table with a smile on her face I thought "Wow this young lady is so above average I couldn't believe she was in a fast food restaurant!" After thanking her for her special above and beyond treatment I asked for her name so I could leave her a great review on Wendy's Google listing. I was shocked a second time to find out that she was delivering 5 star customer service while working her last week because she was I believe going full time at the Works at Wyomissing! I just wanted to say if the owner of this franchise was smart they would figure out what it would take to keep Morgan on board. She stepped up when the store manager appeared very neutral about helping me. This young lady is a rare gem in the fast food industry and if this was my Wendy's I would have Morgan teaching the others what customer service should be.
