Since I had the burger the day before I tried another option. So I ordered the Southern Clucker, a fried chicken sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and jalapeños. I wasn't as impressed with the chicken as I was with the other location's burger. The chicken was fairly tough and chewy and the piece was smaller than the bun it was sitting in, so it was literally tough to eat. The bun and vegetables were fresh though. I loved the onion rings. Best seasoning I've had on fries or onion rings in a long time, and the waitress brought some ranch which helped even more! Because the locations seem consistent, I'll also give the Powell location 4 stars. Great sides, good buns, but not without their faults. Looking forward to trying the fried fish in future.

When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. For food we got the OPA! to start and then the Billy for me and the Mother Clucker for him. The OPA was awesome. It's pan seared feta with honey and served with fresh bread. The honey added a little extra sweetness to the feta which went really nicely with the crusty bread. The Billy had goat cheese, bacon, onions and, a tomato jam on it. It was delicious. The creamy goat cheese with the bacon and smokey tomato jam all went amazingly together. I got onion rings as my side, which were crunchy hot and so so good. The Mother Clucker was also really good. I only had a bite of it to try, but was definitely impressed. My husband upgraded to the duck fat fries which were out of this world. Super crunchy, great flavor. Our server kept checking back on us the whole time making sure we were satisfied with our drinks and food, but we had absolutely no complaints. I asked him to pause his call to seat us. My mother was with us and using a walker and at 91 years old she has trouble standing for long times. I finally found a waitress who was willing to help find us a table clear across the room. With plenty of open tables closer to us. Then we sat at a table with no waitress assigned to us. After waiting for 20 minutes I finally asked a waiter to find our wait staff. 10 minutes later a young lady came up and apologized for taking so long to come greet us. Alexia V was our waitress and once she was assigned our table things started to change for the better. She was very sweet and was able to help my mom with a special order not on the menu. The food came out hot because she was on top of things. For Alexia I would have given . But for everything else about this place would have gotten a zero!!!!
