My biggest complaint is the shrinking size of the little fry. It's used to fill a small water cup but they've created an even smaller cup now. I had to ask for my shake . Usually Five Guys is on point. This location seems lazy and slow. I'm the only customer without food, no new orders. From order to putting the burgers on the grill was 9min. They sat there and talked about how "I don't get enough hours, I need my 40 hours". For 9 min instead of making food... This location needs a change of the guard or a swift kick in the pants Updated to 4 stars: Before I left, the assistant manager stopped me and apologized for how long the food took, and bought one of my burgers and my fries. They made a mistake, but it speaks a lot to the management when they can recognize it before I leave and fix the problem. Well done. read more

Wow, I LOVE 5 Guys. But this meal was dogscat from start to finish. 1 my daughter ordered hers with barbq, they wrote hot sauce, but it was okay because he put barbq on accidently. 2 Raw onions instead of grilled. 3 fries and burgers were cold because they never called our number. It wasn't busy, we could hear fine. 4 cold french fries were okay because we ordered a large and barely had enough to fill the cup. 5 ketchup container-empty. Five Guys just hasn't hit it in Knoxville. I can see why. There are so many true burger joints in town why would you go to a chain restaurant? (Personally, I would stick with Nick and J's if you want a real burger). But this place isn't bad at all. They are made to order so you know it's fresh. And they load you up on fries. If you order a side of fries they just pile and pile them to the top of the bag so you can't complain about getting your money's worth. The thing about it is...I just cannot deal with the grease. When you pick up your food the bag is just totally saturated and its just way too much for me anymore. Way too much. read more

Waited 15 - 20 minutes for my order and when I inquired about it, I was told someone dropped it and failed to remake it. I was offered a full refund and I accepted it. When I went to get my refund the manager was directing the cashier on what to do. She instructed him to only refund me for the grilled cheeses which was $13 and not the entire order which was $38 like I was told. I will absolutely not be back to this location. read more

When we arrived there was 1person in line. We gave our order for 2 burgers and fries. After 25 minutes, we got our food. Although the fries were ok, our burgers were overcooked and crusty. People seem pretty mad at this Five Guys in some of the other reviews. I don't get it. It's a burger joint that serves delicious, greasy burgers. That comes as no surprise to me. Somehow or another this place resides a step above average fast food in my mind. Maybe it's the fact that they use never frozen beef. Or maybe it's because their crack-like french fries are cut fresh from actual potatoes. Maybe it's just because the staff is always friendly and patient as I go through 4,285,294 burger topping combinations, only to land on the same thing I always get. The food is always consistent and tasty. I'm a sucker for a cheeseburger with grilled onions, jalapenos, and hot sauce. When you order fries, you get enough to feed a small army. I prefer the cajun style. I have even stopped in when on a silly restrictive diet and was able to get a burger wrapped in lettuce rather than on a bun. No one looked at me weird. The past memories I've had with you, Five Guys, the senses of straight satisfaction and fullness never failed me. But I think I know what the reason why I was so full! That bread be boss, luckily Five Guys has options to opt out on buns! And this is exactly what I did. Sadly, the feeling of satisfaction with the bun just isn't the same. Cheers to changing eating habits! Sometimes, it feels like crap, but I guess in the long run it's worth it. If you order the burger without the buns they serve all the toppings and everything in a tin container and you can just pick at it. It's no longer a burger, but hey sometimes trying a new spin or a take on it is a good thing! Five Guy's prices aren't the best, but the amount of food that you get is plentiful. The burger's isn't a perfect art form them. It's messy, but delicious. The reason why I go to five guys is to create a monstrosity of a burger with all those toppings (all the way) and just to see how much I can stack in a burger to the point where I can't fit it in my mouth. In the end, this Five Guys is just like every other Five Guys. I do get cravings sometimes for burgers and if they're around, most likely I'll be going to them to get a burger because I know how it will turn out. Good. read more

As I walked up to the store one of the employees walked up to the door and locked me out. Didn't say anything to clarify my obvious confusion. Meh. They do what they do well. Fast service and no-frills food. But the beef needs some seasoning. And they're really missing an opportunity with the buns. Add all the toppings you want on a bland patty on a bland bun and it's just a bunch of stuff on a so-so burger. Felt the same about the fries, but I hear I should've tried the Cajun seasoning. if you are ever thinking about working here don't! i worked here for around a year. i was the longest crew member at this location and i still had no respect. they cut my hours due to another store being remodeled and their workers needed hours but after it was done i was still working 2 days a week and couldn't do anything about it! on top of that i had two referrals that i should of got money for but i got nothing! overall terrible experience and would much rather go jobless than work at the fallen down place it has become. read more
