The menu is pretty extensive. There are several burger options along with hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. The prices are very good, especially for the baskets which include fries. Oh, and they only take cash so make sure you stop at the ATM before you drop by. When you are ready to order, push the green button. The server answered immediately and read back out order afterwards. Our food came out in about ten minutes. It was served in a bag with lots of ketchup packets as well as some salt packets. There was only one carhop and she was quite busy but greeted us with a smile and made sure we had all we needed. Unfortunately, both burgers were average at best. The double cheeseburger had two thin meat patties which had little to no taste. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the bun was fresh and soft, but the meat simply did not add anything to the sandwich. The Carl's Fat burger was no different. The meat patty was thicker but really did not have much taste. The curly fries and regular fries were pretty good. Both were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, my daughter in law had the fried green tomato burger with sweet potato fries, my son had the bourbon burger with fried okra side and my other son had veggie burger with tots as his side. We started with loaded tots which had cheese and bacon and really delicious. My son said his side of tots were very salty and my grandson said his fries were frozen. I dont think they were frozen, I think they were the bottom of the barrel and overcooked and not soft. We had milk shakes, melted and floats for dessert. I wish this was in Florida by me but probably a good thing because I'd probably weigh 300 pounds.

I love when a restaurant is willing to put its values front and center for everyone to see. More importantly, they backed it up. The customer service here was top-notch. The service was excellent from start to finish. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. The manager took time to visit with us and share a little about the business, including the owner's expansion to multiple locations and the charitable work they do in their communities. It's always nice to support people who invest back into the places they serve. The food was the star of the show. The traditional wings and the Kahuna wings (full-size wings) were both fantastic. The dry rubs were outstanding--we tried the Original and Fire, and both delivered great flavor. Of all the sauces we sampled, the Garlic Parmesan Buffalo was the clear winner. Right behind it was their homemade barbecue sauce, which was absolutely incredible. In fact, it may be my favorite barbecue sauce I've had in a long time. Both were packed with flavor and worth ordering again. The homemade chips were also a pleasant surprise, loaded with seasoning and flavor. The only item that missed the mark for me was the smoked cream cheese special. It seemed a bit overdone, which took away some of the creamy texture. I think it would really shine paired with a pepper jelly or something similar to add a little sweetness and contrast. Overall, this was a strong four-star experience. If Yelp allowed half-stars, I'd happily give it 4.5 stars.
