We stopped by after pacing a friend who was doing the Pistol Ultra. It's right down the street from the Springbrook Pool Center, close to the airport, The pizza was pretty good. Our favorite thing was the Costco size containers of Parmesan cheese sitting on the table so we didn't have to worry about those tiny packets not being enough and having to ask for more. The ingredients tasted fresh. I personally prefer a thicker crust than what we got but I did not see any options for other thickness. The girls who took our order and brought our pizza were nice. It's a small kind of local owned hole in the wall but it was cozy and I would go again if I was in the Alcoa area. read more

Smallish size location with some parking. Several tables inside and outside. Very clean and neat inside. The day we went it was hot outside and a touch cooler inside the restaurant. It's a pizzeria so it's expected the oven will heat the restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We ordered a medium pizza, cheese breadsticks and a kids chicken tenders meal. The chicken tenders were cooked well and fries were okay. My child enjoyed them. The cheesy breadsticks were good and plentiful. The pizza was definitely artisan style. I am still trying to understand why so many places put toppings and then cheese on top. Being a transplant from Italian immigrant area our cheese goes first and toppings so the heat of the oven cooks and crisps the toppings. Just personal observation. This pizza was a nice change of pace. We had plenty to take home for breakfast or lunch tomorrow. read more

Limited pizzeria style menu, appetizers, wedges, pizza, soups, salads, etc... Pizza: Very good crust, a lot of the yeast for keeping it from sticking. Nice crunch, well cooked toppings, nice ballads mix drizzle. Dinning Area: Pretty small, outdoor area. Benches, chairs, tables, out door metal sets. Plenty of seating! Prices: Relatively reasonable. Mwdium pie with steak, ricotta, and balsamic glaze, and fountain special for $18! Parking: limited space, hard to get into. Drive up window was at a 90 from the road after a bend, pick up truck you better know how to drive. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekend dinner rush, it was pretty empty, tranquil. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was young, and very social. Foreign accent but couldn't put my finger on it. Very good time. Came from Cali to visit fam in Maryville. OMG, loved the supreme and wings. Hot Stone is the Right Stuff.

Chicken and bacon pizza was lit and I would totally recommend. We also had pepperoni pizza and the supreme pizza, all good choices.

I tried to get the best sampling of this place. I ordered mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers as appetizers. I ordered a 16 inch meat lovers and a 10 inch chicken pesto pizza plus bacon. All tasted good to me especially the appetizers were a hit with my kids. I asked my kids if it was better than Papa John's and one said no and the other said yes. Go figure. The one that liked Papa John's; his favorite pizza is a Neapolitan Margarita pizza he's had in Italy and London. I liked the flavor of hot stone's ingredients and cook over papa John's of course; 1 out of 2 teens approve. I would like to see more Neapolitan style crust. The crust is crunchy and hard which I don't prefer like Mr. Gattis's. But for the small downtown of Alcoa it is a great staple pizza place and I would recommend to anyone. Truth is East Tennessee is majorly deficient in good pizza like Chicago Style and Neapolitan Pizza. I'd pick Hot Stone 10x over the NY asshole owner and cook at Jaboni's pizza. read more

Such delicious pizza! This has become a regular Friday night meal for family. They were closed for a while, but under new owners. We read some great reviews, and we love pizza, so we drove over from Seymour to give this place a try. We noticed the place was kind of small as we pulled up, and we noticed there was very little parking as well. Once inside, there was very little seating but more outside where it was about 90 degrees. It was almost 90 degrees inside as well because apparently the A/C wasn't working. We heard the onion rings were good so tried ordering some, but they were "out" of them. We ordered two small pizzas, a chicken pesto and a Supreme. They were delivered piping hot on a metal tray with some type of wax paper underneath, (to soak up grease I suppose). If you tried to pick up a slice the front would sag, and all the toppings came off. Bottom line, their pizza is delicious! read more

I've been looking for a really good pizza place ever since I moved to the area, two years ago. So far I've had zero luck. I was told about this pizza place from a guy at the grocery store when we got to talking about good pizza in the area. Hot stone pizza sounded like it would be the perfect pizza that I've been looking for. I ordered a large cheese, add, mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. I decided to pick it up instead of waiting for an hour for it to be delivered. By the time I got home, which is nearly 20 minutes from the pizza place, I discovered the bottom of the pizza was completely black and burned. I tried my hardest to get through one piece, but every bite tasted like charcoal burnt pizza. When I called the pizza place to inform them and request a full refund, they offered to make another pizza. Because I live so far away I was not about to get in the car and go pick up another pizza. The lady then offered to make another pizza for tomorrow or sometime this week. Since I am not sure when I will be in the mood for another pizza, I decided to i wanted the full refund like I had originally requested. She had to call her manager and told me she would call me back. I never heard back. Too bad I was really rooting for this place. read more

The pizza wasn't your normal national chain delivery pizza, it was fresh, hot and full of great ingredients. They offer their pizza in every size especially if all you want is a personal pizza.
