I need to talk about my favorite lunch location in Blount County: Kickback Jacks! This place keeps impressing me more and more every time I visit for lunch. I officially love this place! Address: 1139 Franck St. Alcoa, TN 37701 Food: 5/5 I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and it's the best chicken sandwich in Blount County! Perfectly crispy and sauced. The flavors are great, and it's cooked excellently every single time. The fries were also very good and seasoned well. My mom got the Bacon Jam Burger, and she absolutely loved it! Great flavors, but the one thing she would change is having the bacon cooked more so it's crispy instead of floppy. We also got the Nachos for an appetizer, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had! The chili and jalapeño cheese sauce were the stars of the dish, and the chips were perfect and didn't break at all. What impressed me the most was that the last time my mom got the nachos, they were not very appealing, but this time around the presentation was spot on. This tells me that this restaurant listens to criticism and fixes its mistakes/issues. ‍ Service: 5/5 Matthew was our server today, and he did a great job! Nice place, big and comfy. The Philadelphia steak egg rolls were delicious and my salad was huge that I was only able to eat some of it.

It seems other folks have had bad experiences, I've had a great time every time I come. It's bar food but it's tasty and reasonably priced. I'm not a drinker, but they give you huge glasses of iced tea. Portions are gigantic and service is good. They have large tables and if you go at around two o'clock you can spend lots of time with family chatting away. Really fun place. read more

Ate at KJ's last Monday. Server was great. The food was a huge disappointment. Started with fried pickles that were so overcooked that it was so hard to eat..cold and very hard. The smash burgers were not true smashburgers. They were double patty burgers with raw onion. Not very tasty. Sorry to say that there are much better food options very close that we may visit before deciding to return. Again, the server was wonderful, not her fault the food was subpar. Our waitress was very attentive. She did not wear a name tag or tell us her name but she took our drink order right away. We decided on an appetizer - firecracker shrimp. It was good and temperature hot. The kids chicken tenders & fries was very good - enough for us to sample and for the 2 year old to enjoy. The buffalo chicken wrap & hamburger was good. We had a wonderful experience at Kickback Jacks on sunday afternoon. The food was AMAZIN!! Had spinach dip, fried pickles, wings and steaks. The spinach dip was definitely the best i have ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection, Wings had a great char. Our waitress, (Sophia) did a great job!!! She was fast and always knew what we needed before we asked. She was also super friendly and attentive. The only thing I have to make a note for improvement was, need more bartenders. There was only one bartender for the whole restaurant. . The atmosphere reminds me much of a typical "sports bar/restaurant". They do have an outdoor area as well. We were quickly greeted, sat, and served. The service here is excellent. We had a party of 8 and I did not get my food. The manager came apologize offered a salad your a side while I waited. When it did arrive, after a pretty good house salad, it was cooked correctly but it did lack some seasoning. A little would have made it perfect. The baked beans, in my opinion were really nice. The ribs, again for me are really nice, not overly wet the way I like them. If you like more you can ask for it. Burgers are good, again a little seasoning would go a long way to perfect. read more

Very clean, all electronics were on and working but not distracting. The welcome was pleasant, the waiter friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Menu has something for everyone. Came here while visiting on vacation and had Caitlyn on the patio as our server. Worst service ever, drinks took 15 minutes to hit the table. She forgot our appetizer and when our entrees hit the table she never checked on us once until we were almost finished. She then asked if we got our app... Wide menu, lots of good beers on tap, some good specials, too (and note, most places do not run specials on Saturday but they had them in both food and drink). The three of us had-- the turkey flatbread, hot honey chicken sandwich, and rib-eye. All of us had fries as the side (I will say, even though they had lots of sides offered, none were especially appealing to any of us, thus all fries. They had small side salads, some other greens but nothing that was too appealing. Onion rings? A soup?) Portions were plentiful. My wife and I, more often than not, eat about half of what we are given and take the rest home, but both of us ate mostly everything, except a few of the fries. The chicken on the sandwich was huge, tender and tasty. Nice amount of the hot honey sauce, also. Son liked the steak; I had a bite of it and it was quite tasty-- a good steak for that price point. I was visiting Tennessee and decided to try this place with my family, who lives there. It had just opened so we knew it would be busy. We got there and yes, there was a wait. But the line went pretty fast. They had many employees working well together to get everyone taken care of, seated and fed. We ordered appetizers: pretzel sticks and fried pickles. They were awesome!! The pickles were perfect, just enough breading and a great tasting pickle. The pretzel sticks were amazing!!! They were cooked to perfection. Light salty crunch on the outside with a good breading in the inside. The cheese was perfect consistency with great flavor and was a perfect match for the pretzel. We also ordered the strawberry salad. It was delicious! We ordered the grilled wings. Great flavor! We also ordered the Chicken Tenders platter. Delicious!! Since we loved the place so much, we went back!! Two more times during my stay. During those visits we ordered the pickles again and the amazing pretzels. One of the three times we went, they were out of the pretzels. They said they are very popular. But the next day when we went again they had restocked. We also ordered the Firecracker shrimp. The food is great and plenty of it! The restaurant is well kept and for the most part the service is friendly. The only complaint I have is that I'm not sure how the servers and cook work. Came to Kickback Jack's for the first time after hearing positive reviews about the food. We were seated promptly, but had to wait almost 10 minutes before our server came over. This should have been an omen was what to come. We ordered 10 dry rub wings, an order of boneless wings, and an order of fries. Our wings were brought out by a different server promptly with no fries. Our server didn't come check on us until we were 3/4 way through our meal so told her to forget about the fries and to just give us the check. This took another 20 minutes even though she wasn't waiting on any other tables at the moment. In regards to the food, both sets of wings were very good. The boneless wings are large chunks of tender white meat fried very well. The dry rub wings were very good as well. They were flash fried to the point of not needing sauce. Will we come back? Hubby and I decided to stop in for lunch. We were greeted by two lovely young hostess at the entrance. We requested to sit out on the patio that overlooks the parking lot with peek-a-boo views of the mountain range in the distance. This was the second time in two weeks I came to kickback Jack's. This time I ordered the chili and a side salad. Since I didn't like the ranch dressing before, too thick and goopy. I ordered the blue cheese this time and it was much better. The side salad was actually Perfect and the chili was very good. Went to enjoy the trivia on November 16, after a bit of having a good time we were approached by the "manager " i'm assuming that told us we needed to keep it down.
