Very friendly staff, the restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms. The menu have a lot of options for food. It is an expected chain vibe. Love they have frozen custard. The kids meal is pretty nice for our little one because it comes with a dessert. Their lemon ice I had high hopes for given it was a seasonal thing. This was my first time at Culver's and my last. I was staying up the street waiting my flight out in the morning and saw Culver's when I was driving around and because I love ice cream I was intrigued by the custard or the concrete whatever they call it. I had a burger the night before at another spot, so I decided to try the cod because the lady said it was one of their best sellers. I asked if the bun was toasted and she told me it was I could see a little brown around the edges, but basically it was just a bun, no heat. I don't do tartar sauce so I just had the shredded lettuce and shredded cheese; I've never heard of shredded cheese on a sandwich, but OK. The fish wasn't too bad it was just deep fried cod with no flavor and it was greasy. The fries that came with the basket were crinkle cut like I like, but they were I don't know stale maybe? They they were warm (everything is supposed to be made fresh to order) but I don't know if they reheated them, I couldn't eat them. Finally my favorite thing of all time ice cream was subpar. I have eaten ice cream from all local chains and almost 40 states AND several countries so if they want to be known for their dessert, they got to do better. I had vanilla with Oreos and light salted caramel. They weren't mixed in very well because there were clumps of ice cream with nothing and then there were ice cream with too much of the mix ins which made the sweetness off balanced. I went through the drive-through and both the lady who took my order and the one who brought the order to the car (after waiting for it) were very nice. I paid $14.14 and I do not believe I got a fulfilling meal worth $14.14 so for that reason I won't go back. read more

Double cheeseburger basket ran through the garden please! A side of coleslaw and ask for crispy fries. That way they always come to your table hot. We tried the walleye this past weekend. To me, their fish sandwich is much better. The walleye piece we had was very fishy tasting. Overly fishy taste. No thanks. This is decorated just like all Culver's. Price was OK, but I was surprised that adding fries and drink DOUBLE the price of the most basic, simple burger. I saw a review on tik tok comparing Culver's and five guys and she highly recommended Culver's burger. So off I went. I had the double butter cheese burger and fries no onion. (Never eat onions from public restaurants. Once Onions are chopped they absorb germs in the air and as they sit out all day waiting to be used, they're absorbing all the germs in the air. Lol). Your choice for sure. Anyways, the burger and fries were perfect portion, crispy shoestring fries complimented the soft burger bun with the slight crispy edge on the burger patty. Very satisfying. I always enjoy by trips to culvers. I particularly enjoy their spicy chicken sandwich. The staff is also very fast efficient and nice. This culvers also has gluten-free buns. That is phenomenal because not many fast food restaurants sell gluten-free buns, especially in this town. The kids meals are also awesome. Computer says it will be ready at 6:32 so I send my husband onto the restaurant as we only live a couple of miles away. 35 minutes later and after talking to a person and then the manager, we finally get the food. The managers excuse is that they were busy and that they had run out of buns, as I'm talking to her, she tells me not to yell at her and I was not yelling, but it pushed me to where I talked an active higher after that. They should have comped the meal because it took 33 minutes longer to get it than what the computer said. It's such a shame. I had passed by Culvers in Alcia a number of times. I finally decided to try it. The meat seems to taste like real meat. The mushroom burger was good. Onion rings cold. I have since tried the food a few more times. Although the meat tastes decent, the food is not served hot. Each time, I noticed the burger patties cool and the sides cold. I have tried the onion rings, cheese curds, and crinkled fries and picked up my meals "curdside." My food was not served hot. I figured you all are doing the McDonald's thing , cooking burgers and sides ahead of time, so you can get the volume out. This was my first visit to a Culver's. I ordered the pot roast dinner with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and a drink. The roast beef w/gravy was OK, the instant mashed potatoes w/gravy was edible, the once frozen broccoli was tasteless. I ordered a mint shake to go. By the time I got to the hotel, the air had started to percolate out of the shake. Similar to what McDonald's shakes are like-half air. Not impressed. Total bill-$15.77. Great burger and great ice cream. We live in Virginia and when we visit we have to make one, two, maybe three stops during our stay.

We stopped here for dessert after having a disappointing dining experience at a local chicken joint. This place had lots of clean tables, nice outside seating area and we really enjoyed the "concretes" we ordered. One of our favorite places. It's not a fast food joint and not a full service restaurant, it lies in between. The menu is varied and has something for everyone, the employees are friendly and it's always very clean. Yes, you may have to wait longer than you would at McDonald's but the food is made fresh for each order and the wait times are not bad. Employees constantly circle through the dining area and will bring things to the table at your request. Try the Pork Loin sandwich, especially if you are from the mid-west. Hi: My first and last time at Culver`s. The restaurant seemed nice enough when we went in. We ordered and then got seated. We received our food in reasonable time. The double patty burger came as a single, and when we told the server the error we opted to get an extra meat patty. OK, not a big mistake. When the extra meat patty arrived I placed it on my burger and started eating. OK. Then about two-thirds finished eating the burger I realized the extra patty was only partially cooked. There was clearly uncooked meat in the remaining burger, more visible at the edges than towards the center. I hope I missed all if not most of the uncooked meat. At that point my wife and myself both had lost our appetite (enhanced by the guy sitting at an adjacent table packing an openly displayed large hand gun). I showed the manager the meat on the way out, she said she doubted I would get sick... I should hope not!... so cavalier about it. She offered something to make up for the mistake but by that time I wanted nothing but to leave. My wife saw her just chuck the partially cooked burger into the trash. Probably the end of the story.
