Service is actually slow as drying dog shit.. I've never have such slow service from fast food place

We enjoyed the food. Everything was cooked well and had great taste. Sometimes I'd definitely recommend adding extra sauce to the wings and the patty melt just so it's good and covered. Drive thru service is always quick and friendly staff. Inside the restaurant is clean and well kept. Should you park and go in be mindful of the drive thru flow or you may get blocked in go a bit. read more

I get it. So many people have hyped it so we all like to speak to how underwhelming Whataburger is.. However, there isn't a better fast food burger. Especially when you add cheese and jalapeños to that delicious burger. Their chocolate shake rivals any in town. So glad that Whataburger finally made it to Knoxville! read more

There were no less than 5 people who either received the wrong order or were missing items while I was waiting for my food. Dining room was full so you almost had to stalk a table that opened. There was a person in the kitchen rocking sunglasses, which might not be the best idea considering how much food was needing to be fixed. Overall, it's a fast food joint. Burger was ok. Fries were solid. Dining room was kind of dirty due to the constant line and no time to clean between customers. read more

Was craving a patty melt and heard they serve them... got in the drive thru, pull up to order and see the price ... at this point ther is no backing up or a way out forward... I'm trapped in... sandwich alone is over 11 bucks, meal is over 15... why?... the patty melt was nothing special, should be served on rye but was served on bread... less ingredients then their burgers but cost 3 dollars more????... felt like I was trapped into spending over 15 bucks... just dissapointing... Bottom line, probably the worse patty melt I've ever had and by far the most expensive... don't order it! read more

2nd review - Service - 1 Star Unfortunately, we got a taste of their lousy service that so many other reviewers complained about. Our order wasn't ready for pickup on time. They didn't give us everything we had ordered which wasn't noticed until already home & too far to drive back for. Very upsetting! Especially since we had pre-paid for all the items online in advance. Called, but the girl who said she was the night manager didn't even apologize! Bottom line: We lost $, but they lost our business. I've been here about four times now and the place seems like they have no clue what they're doing. The food is so slow getting to you and then the food is cold, stuff is missing, or they just give you the wrong order altogether. It appears they are just disorganized to an alarming degree. I think closing for a couple of weeks to train the staff properly and doing a soft reset would be the best thing they could do for everyone. I'm not kidding. Probably won't go back. read more

Service is bad waited at the order screen in the drive thru for 25 mins when no one else was in front of me. finally someone took my order but then no fries no milkshakes and I all I heard from the guy's mic is laughing when he told us about the milkshakes not working. Waited a whole another 15mins for food which is normal. But there was a car sitting there longer than me when I got there and left. Update a hour later brownies tasted old. read more

A Very Real Whataburger Review I've had Whataburger before and was thoroughly unimpressed. It struck me as an overpriced McDonald's with better PR. But with all the hype around the new location, my daughter had to try it. I warned her. We went anyway. Now, I don't usually do fast food, but an hour in a drive-thru gives a person time to reflect... and Google. The average "slow" drive-thru wait is about 7 minutes. We waited an hour. For burgers. Not soufflés. We sat at the speaker so long the order taker asked for our name not once, not twice, but three times. If you look out the window and see the same car for 30 minutes, do you think anything behind it has moved? They left the speaker on while we waited, so we got a behind-the-scenes podcast of employee complaints. We watched customers argue with staff. Then armed security got involved. Armed. Security. For burgers. We ordered 5 burgers, fries, and 5 drinks. Simple. After the food was brought out, it was wrong... three separate times. The girl bringing it out was incredibly sweet and totally unfazed. She casually mentioned she works until 10 p.m. and comes back at 3 a.m. That might be part of the problem. My theory? They hired people who needed jobs but maybe not people with the experience to run a fast-food operation under pressure. And after all of this? Cold food. Wrong orders. And just like before--it tasted like overpriced McDonald's. Here's the thing: in Powell, you're just another burger place. Something has to set you apart. Right now, that "something" is cold food and chaos. If you can't fix it, you'll join the long list of places that didn't make it--Steak 'n Shake, Krystal, Hardee's. It's a tough market, but you're making the choice easy. I'll go back to Chick-fil-A. Maybe swing through their drive-thru sometime and take notes. read more

This place has potential to be great, but the employees need ALOT of training. Very inefficient and confused staff leading to extremely long wait times and cold food. The gentleman in the security shirt directing traffic is single-handedly holding that place together. Hope to try again in the future once the staff has been trained. read more

This has to be the WORSE location in the entire chain.,And I have been to many in Texas, Arizona and the Southwest .The last two times I've attempted to get food from the drive thru the wait has been over 25 minutes. Mine you, this has been after10:30pm on a weeknight. Other chains in the area have a much more organized and efficient process. I will not go back to this location again. read more

Staff was extremely nice and I got my food pretty fast. As for the taste of the food. The fries had so much salt it was like eating sand. The burger lacked any seasoning. It tasted bland and just a sad burger. All it tasted like was a vegetable sandwich with mustard. At $16 for a meal I was hoping for better quality. read more

Absolutely disgusting, the service was just as bad. We were the only ones there, didn't see any cars in drive thru. We waited 30 mins seven employees were her standing around. Had to go ask for it, then all of a sudden it was good to go. The fries were cold and the burger wasn't even warm. Should've asked for our money back and left. Because zero stars is not an option, i am leaving one star. We have been to this location maybe 3 times since it opened, different days, different times of day, and have never made it through the drive through in under twenty minutes. Today was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. When we got in the drive through line , there was a car ahead of us at the order screen and one car ahead of it. We quickly advanced to the order screen and the two cars in front of us didn't move for a solid twenty minutes , during which time nobody hopped on the microphone to take our order. I\nWould have jumped out of line , but at this point there were cars in front of me and cars behind me , so I was stuck. The cars finally advanced, we made it as far as the payment window and I figured there would be an employee there , and maybe I could at least place my order at that point. There was literally nobody at the payment window. An employee briefly showed up to put in a fresh till drawer , and I tried to get his attention , but he did not see me and walked away. By that point , we were able to advance to the drive through food delivery door where a less than friendly employee named hannah asked if we had ,'a mobile order or something,' at which point I nicely told her that we had not placed our order and that we had waited at the order screen for 20 minutes.And I also let her know there was nobody at the payment window. She seemed a little confused , but not alarmed , which was shocking to me. She kind of questioned to herself who was supposed to be taking orders and wondering why nobody had been taking orders for the last twenty minutes. At no point, did she offer an apology. She took our order , but copped an attitude as though I was the one who was inconveniencing her. W when the food was ready, she handed it to us and said, here you go, and then turned and walked back inside. Again, at no point, was there an apology or some sort of offer of compensation.Not that I expect to have my hind end kissed , but this was absolutely ridiculous! this restaurant will be its own undoing. The whole time we were waiting cars behind us started honking periodically , so I know I was not the only one that had grown frustrated. I always leave with the benefit of the doubt , but this owner and this manager are digging their own graves and I don't see this location being around within the year if this absolutely wretched service continues. read more

To be fair I did visit on opening day around 3pm & they were very busy, but I will say I was extremely disappointed with the food...OMG!?! The #1 burger w/cheese was COLD by the time I parked to eat it a mile away. It reminded me of a school cafeteria burger & it was loaded with mustard & the lettuce was dripping with water so the bun was soggy. The fries on top were warm but there were some raw ones scattered towards the bottom, they were also out of iced tea. The manager or whoever the man was waving at people as they entered & chatting with the guy wearing a shirt that read "Security" could have been more useful helping inside &/or helping with the drive thru because it was disastrous to watch the male food runner take food, run back, have to go back over & over to the point he was hitting himself in the head out of frustration I assume. It was 2nd hand embarrassment & I felt bad for the guy! I highly doubt I'll return because I can't imagine ever craving that mess.
