It's Wendy's. Just like McDonald's the food is consistently equally at every restaurant. I has the 4 for 4 crispy bacon chicken sammy, 4 chicken nuggets, fries and a drink. Good deal, even though that's enough food for 2 meals for me. The employees are pleasent, and got my order out in minutes. If I had anything to ding them on, the sandwich was not hot. I love Wendy's, which is why I stopped for a quick dinner. I get surveys for potential products for Wendy's and was excited to try the Oreo Frosty, which was one of the surveys I took. (FYI: I voted against the Pop-Tarts flavor but was apparently overruled.) One I figured out where the entrance to the drive-thru is (it's on the left when you pull up the Wendys) I ordered a simple Dave's burger without cheese and my Oreo frosty, and dang, things are getting pricey. Hard to blame this Wendy's, but worth noting. As always, Wendy's was pretty fast. I was handed my Frosty, then a minute later, which the employee was taking another order, handed me my order. All good... ...until I got home. Sure enough, there was cheese on the burger. Now honestly, it's not a big deal, I'm just not a fan of cheese on hamburger. On chicken, I'm all for it. Still, I was slightly disappointed. Maybe if they guy had repeated my order when handing it to me, I might have caught it, but he was busy taking another order. And the Oreo Frosty was just OK. It's 100+ outside in Palm Desert so it melted fast, and I could have used a straw in the bag as it was getting messy with just a spoon. Today I went through drive through and order only 1 medium size iced coffee and it got me extremely sick from stomach aches and extreme nausea I'm guessing they only put creamer and milk literally the first sip I noticed it didn't have any taste of coffee but was in denial few sips later I knew I was not tasting any coffee at all just pure creamer and milk. Ok,so it's been a while for me. To ear at Wendy's, I mean. Back in the early 80s, they were the go-to for a really good burger. Juicy, cheesy goodness. The grease factor was on point. Yummy. So, last night's burger, well, it was actually pretty dog gone delicious. Fresh tomatoes,onions, and plenty of cheese. I was actually surprised at how good it tasted, or maybe I was just hungry, lol. This location ALWAYS misses items in our order. You'd think we'd learn our lesson and double check. They ask us to make sure everything on the screen is correct, but they don't make sure everything they put in the bag is correct? They seem inconvenienced when taking your order through the drive through. If someone asks for extra sauce and you say yes, then mention it beforehand that it's an add charge. They didn't give us the extra sauce we asked for because you only get 1 per meal and others are an add charge... Then SAY that. don't just not give the extra sauce your customers ask for??? I placed an online order and was supposed to pick up at the Dianah Shore location but the order was sent to this location. As I was trying to cancel the order, there want a way to do it through the app. I called the 800 number and it wasn't working. I called the store and the manager Raphel said he couldn't refund my order but said he could make my order again or another day. I was out shipping for x-mas and said I should be in his area in about two hours. I called about 30 minutes ahead of my arrival and he informed me to call when I was a few minutes away and he will make my order fresh and bring it out to my car. Wendy's food of course is always delicious if you're looking for a fast food meal. The only problem I have about this location is the drive-through. At night time especially it is very dark and I see it up against the side of the freeway. My family has been through the drive-through a couple times and I've never felt safe. Everything about this place seems fine at first glance. The dining hall could definitely use a little more decor since it feels rather empty. Jennifer was pretty nice with us, she brought our food all the way to our table. She only made one small mistake; she gave my girlfriend the same drink as I when it should have been a whole size larger, and it was supposed to be pineapple! There was a Honduran looking guy in the drive thru window. He's the only one wearing a facemask and he always looks like he wants to beat the living be-jesus out of someone. My family I ordinarily like going to Wendy's. The Frosty's are always a treat and we love their fresh burgers. The problem with the location we visited today was that my wife ordered a bacon burger and they did not give us the bacon. I ordered a Coke and had to remind them in the drive-through to give me my drink. We also ordered French fries and they are also terribly salty. And to make matters worse they were also shorting us one order of french fries until we reminded them. They come across very unorganized and not prepared for the drive-through volume. We did not have an opportunity to go back in the midst of the coronavirus. I would be reluctant to go back to this location. This lady at the drive-through, Kristen, definitely holds the record for the worst drive-through attendant I have ever encountered in my 46 years on earth. I ordered a number three with a medium sprite, two small cokes and two small chocolate Frosty's. She repeated my order back to me and I corrected her that it was two Frosty's and two cokes. She repeated it back to me and I corrected her a second time then she had a little bit of attitude. So I thought maybe I over asked her to make sure there was two chocolate Frosty's and two small cokes. (After reviewing my dash cam, I actually corrected her four times) So I left it alone until I got to the window. She rang me up and then gave me my order and it was short by one small Coke and one chocolate Frosty. I told her I asked for two. So I let her ring my credit card up again. She only rang me up for a small chocolate Frosty. I told her I asked for two cokes and two chocolate Frosty's originally, and that I had the recording on my dash cam, and that I would be happy to replay it for her to which she laughed and rolled her eyes and told the other employees what I was saying. And then I asked for the Coke and she said why didn't charge you for it and I said well here you go and I gave her my credit card and she rang me up for a third time. Then she gave me my coke completely overfilled and dripping wet across the inside of my brand new Yukon $93,000 Denali. I asked her for some napkins to wipe it off before I brought it into my car to which she replied with attitude and then handed me my straw also. Then shut the window in my face. So now I check my order and there is no barbecue sauce or any sauce. so I flagged somebody else down in the store who made her give me barbecue sauce. Then she slam the window in my face again. At one point when I told her, I would replay the dash cam footage for her she said "you should "as if to say I was lying. I will save the footage and I will forward it to the store.
