What the hell is wrong with the Oneida Wendy's? Why is my Jr. Bacon cheeseburger included in my Biggie Bag order always stone cold? I despise lukewarm or cold food when it's meant to be hot! It happens consistently here. I've asked when I order for them to insure the food is hot before its given to me, and I've contacted the company to complain, with no change. I ordered through door dash tonight for dinner I got a fish sandwich which was very greasy and the bun was dry and crusty, I also ordered a cheese burger deluxe and the bun was falling apart and no bacon, old tomato, and the patty was so over cooked it was hard about the size of a half dollar, and my baked potato was so hard like it wasn't even cooked it was disgusting I just wanted to throw up I called door dash and requested a full refund! This is the 3 time in a month Wendy's, Burger King, get your shit together the price of food is high enough without you having to mess it up so all of my order went in the trash I could not even feed it to my dog not happy at all and to top it off the store can't even answer the phone read more

It's a Wendy's just not the best one. I have eaten here twice now, waited 10 mins in drive thru for 3 cars this time. Seems like they take 5 orders then prepare the food. Burger was luke warm, fries undercooked and soggy but nugs were fresh out of the fryer and delicious. Based on other reviews, seems like this place is more of a miss than a hit. read more

Its really unfortunate how poor this Wendy's is run. This restaurant suffers from poor management. They are often out of multiple items on the menu. The food quality is also very inconsistent, often giving out cold, overcooked, or wrong food. The wait at the window is always long, often exceeding 15 minutes regardless of how many people are in line. For how much money Wendy's charges for their food, i would be taking a closer look at the standards some of their restaurants are failing to meet. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. I am a DoorDash driver and they didn't have their lobby locked so I went in and told somebody who my DoorDash order pick up was for and went to the bathroom because it wasn't ready yet because they said they didn't even know they had a DoorDash and while I was in the bathroom, a worker came and started banging on the door and saying "hey, you know we're closed right?". This was two hours prior to their closing time and if they didn't want anybody in the lobby, they should've had it locked. So they told me to go around to the drive-through and when I went around to the drive-through, they refused to give me the DoorDash order. I waited for the order for 20 minutes and still never got it so I had to give up the order and explain to DoorDash why. Another night I had a DoorDash order and I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes for that order because yet again they hadn't started it until I arrived and said they didn't even know they had a DoorDash order. After they knew, I had a DoorDash order they all stood around, looking at each other, complaining about having to watch training videos and talking about each other behind each other's backs right in front of customers. once the DoorDash order was done, they placed it on the back counter where I couldn't get to it and then another driver tried to take my order, thinking it was hers because the guy gave it to the wrong person. The service here is awful would not recommend. I wondered why it was always so dead there now I realize it's because the staff is awful. No matter who is working. It's awful service. read more

Their drive through crew are trying to trick management into thinking that they are doing a better job than they really are. Any "fast food" business runs on their "wait time" & the staff are monitored via this time. From the moment you pull up to get your food, you are on a clock. & the staff are now judged/valued based upon how long it takes them to get you the food that you ordered. This store, like the majority of the stores in the area, try to fool the corporate executives into thinking that they are doing better than they really are, by fudging with these "wait times". Any time they ask you to "pull forward" that is what they are doing. It's not for the benefit of the people behind you, it is SOLELY for their own benefit. This particular store is NOTORIOUS for asking you to pull ahead & wait, while they reap all the benefits of this. All that aside, do not bother trying to ask for fresh fries. You ask them when was the last time they dropped a batch of fries & find out that sometimes those fries have been sitting under those heat lamps for an hour if not more. Well if you ask for some fresh fries instead of stale, dry fries, they'll be happy to drop a new batch but they won't be cooked! It's not hard to drop a basket of fries, it's almost brainless! Pour fries into basket, drop basket in oil, start timer, when timer goes off, pull basket & let drip, dump fries into the tray. So why is it then that when you ask for fresh fries they are so soggy that you couldn't poke yourself in the eye if you tried! Is it such a bad thing to want your food to be fresh? & if these are the sort of things that the managers at this store are training their staff to do, they really should be ashamed of themselves! read more

It's fast food. You really can't mess it up. But this story I think their salads are super fresh.

Decent location with positive staff. A bit on the pricey side, but the food is superb quality.

Fries were so cold and inedible. Chicken was grilled instead of fried. And I was notified by my bank I was charged twice for my order (she swiped it 4-5 times so waiting to see if more charges come through). Seems to be going downhill over the last couple years. read more

EVERY time I get a Diet Coke it is never right, I don't know how they fix the machine, but it has to be fixed!!! The fries are never good, taste like been sitting out for days!! I will personally never go back, I ordered a larger order and didn't realize it was an hour before close, I was willing to forgive the first time we got our food (for of the biggie bags) however they were inedible to me and my boyfriend. The only thing worth eating we're the fries that had an awful smell. I called and they offered to replace them the next day because I live quite a ways away. The next day I made it a point to go during the day around 3pm and it was almost worse than the first time! Burgers that tasted like they had been from hours ago, bacon sounded like it could chip a tooth, nuggets that were essentially mush. Again fries that had an awful smell. Myself,my daughter and my boyfriend all decided to give Wendy's a try for dinner,big mistake. Firstly the customer service was lacking there was no "welcome to " or "what can I get for you?",there was not even any welcoming smiles. The girls behind the counter instead looked bored and annoyed as if they just wanted us out. I could of forgiven the sullen lackluster customer service had it not been that all three of our food came out cold and stale,including my 3 year old daughter's meal. I'm not one to usually complain,but it's obvious something here needs to change either the manager is unaware of this behavior and poor food quality or the place needs a new manager. Wendy's, I gotta give a round of applause for your location in Oneida on Genesee Street. A quick story: My employer booked us rooms and event halls for training at the Turning Stone Casino Resort which is close to the above mentioned location. I work in the wine and spirits business and last night my co-workers and myself got - gosh, I'm a little embarrassed to say it actually - got "turnt". That was tough to type! Anyway, I had a drink or seventeen, and consuming all those spirits made me like mine had left my body as soon as I awoke. Dehydration and misery had been my one night stands that evening and I needed a cure. So after some business tutorials and rejecting anymore booze sippin' I decided to head to Wendy's for my favorite hangover savior: the classic spicy chicken sandwich medium sized fries and a Coca-Cola (even though we all know Pepsi is better). I pulled up to the order speaker in my corporate issued Ford Transit and stated my order when the girl asked me after if I needed anything else and I said "Yes, could you guys please do me a huge favor? I am super hungover from last night for work so could you please put some extra salt on those fries? It really helps, ya know what I mean"? Then a male voice came over the speaker with a reassuring tone (and not the reassuring tone of your mom saying you could stay up past your bed time, it was more the feeling of when Christian Bale says "I'm Batman" in Batman Begins) "We got ya, brother. Extra salt on those fries?" and I responded with "Yes, sir!" like I was being yelled at by Judge Judy and got nervous and said "sir" instead of "mam". Even when I pulled up to the window to pay and grab my order, this Wendy's employee made sure extra salt were on those fries. He knew this was an emergency given the taxation on my face as a result of the previous evening. I looked like one of those horribly ugly and detailed SpongeBob stills. In closing, thank you Wendy's for making such a delightful hangover cure and having endless locations in which I can be rescued if such an evening ever occurs again. I can still taste the juices of that sandwich run down my chin as I sped through Interstate 90. Thank you Wendy's employees at Oneinda on Gennesee Street and those employees who will hear my call again...probably this Saturday! read more

Wendy's makes the best burgers in my opinion. The service here is very average however. Often the employee's are very unmotivated.
