It's sort of set up like a fast food joint inside, and you typically aren't waiting long for your order. There is seating inside, but also picnic tables outside. Pretty much like Subway. The place was clean and the one worker there was very friendly and courteous. They also had some outdoor seating available which definitely added a good touch. It was a pleasure being in a store where the staff was happy to see you and help you. There were three of us and we all had our own custom made sandwiches. I found everything here to be tasty and definitely fresh. I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich and have always liked the idea of being able to customize it with the condiments that I choose. Its a one man operation as the owner is the chef and waiter so if it fills up, you may have to wait a bit but its worth it. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves at the time we went and the owner/chef, Jeff, was a great host with many personal stories about the history of Utica and his personal colorful past. We had his stuffed French toast which was awesome and some eggs. The coffee and tea are self serve and there are seats at the counter and a couple tables. The place only seats around 16 people but he assured us that he occasionally gets many more in there at a time. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch during the week (its closed on weekends) and don't need any frills, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!
