While I am not the biggest burger fan, I always make exceptions for smash burgers so I was excited to try the classic combo. It was delicious and had just the right amount of everything. The fries are also excellent, with a great seasoning. I opted to dine in today; the dining area was quiet, well maintained, and clean. I was told to come back and try the brisket, and there are so many other things I want to try, so I'll be back soon!

I'm only sharing this because the note I left myself after eating at Nicky Doodles was: "Utica, bitches." That's right. This is Utica. It's technically New Hartford I guess, but it's as close to Utica as I've ever really gotten. And you know what? I'd come back. Nicky Doodles is basically just a roadside burger stand. It's not fancy, but it hits the spot. I had a burger, my kids had chicken fingers, and we all had fries and ice cream. And all of it tasted good, and it was served up by some nice girls in the window. There's nothing I'd like to change except the fact that one of my kids just seems to use food as a spoon for ketchup. Maybe she'll grow out of it?
