The manager, Kieth, is a ROCKSTAR!! They need to give him a raise. He gave me the exact same service he gave everyone else, and that says a lot. Everyone there smiled. He makes your day better just by being who he is. read more

I just came here to say that this Wendy's is so bad that Sal Vulcano of the Impractical Jokers and Hey Babe Podcast put out a public review of his experience on the podcast. He mentioned the long wait, the rude customer service, and one of the employees using his BARE HAND to reach into the fryer oil to pull out the chicken patties for the sandwiches Sal ordered, all while in plain view. I cannot believe this place is still open after that kind of review! If you have a moment, please watch the full review: https://youtu.be/z7Iio9IqrSc?is=QDUJpF3iTLSa6Gy2 I almost died laughing! read more

Shit. Terrible customer service, never waited this long in my life on a line at Wendy's. Don't waste ur time/money

If i could rate this any lower than a 1 star i would. Ive been in line for over 45 mins. I ordered a burger, nuggets and some fries and they asked us to pull forwards after we were waiting at the window for 10 minutes, weve been waiting here for another 10+ minutes do not waist your time or money on this location read more

7:15, August 8th Store was cold. It also smells in here. Kiosk was there but they didn't let us use it. There was some asshole wearing a Jeb Bush shirt. My kid started crying when they played Playboi Carti too loud. If anything it was kind of nice cause it drowned him out the little bugger. I'm not sure he's really mine because my wife gets around. If anyone can tell if a child is mine just by looking please respond that would be nice 7:23, August 8th Lines barely moving the troops are getting restless. There might be one man working here 7:27, August 8th I'm reading other reviews like looking at flight logs. This was a mistake help 7:31, August 8th The guy at the counter asked me about the Wednesday Adam's meal and when he did I heard thunder and lightning struck the place which startled me. The sauces were purple and reminded me of a life I've never lived where I was happy and securely employed. He asked if I wanted my fries freaky style and laughed to himself for 7 minutes and just got louder every time I tried to butt in. 7:42, August 8th Full and SATISFIED. This isn't quite the same place me and the wife celebrated our 28th anniversary (We knew we wouldn't make it to 30) but still great. The slice of tomato was a refreshing as a drop of water during a 40 day and 40 night stint in the Mojave. The lettuce as crisp as the first bite of a honeycrisp apple. The patty as sturdy as the bow of a ship. 8/10 read more

Wendy's - Burgers Near Me - Monticello, New York

worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The food is always cold and stale. Even when they take a long time to get your order. The food is still cold. The fries are hard and stale and the burgers are cold and matted together. It's like the food has been sitting around for hour. l've been to other locations and the difference is night and day. read more

The food is fresh and good but the Manager is a rude jackass that yelled at me and told me to "go eat somewhere else I don't need your money" because I complained (as did others) that it's too cold to sit down and eat in the restaurant. Please turn down the AC. read more

I should have known by the looks of it not to stop here, but I was craving it. Got the biggie bag and the nuggets were so overcooked or the oil was old because they were brown and inedible. The fries were very similar. Trust your instincts and avoid this place. read more

We eat at Wendy's today without looking at the Yelp reviews this was a big mistake this is probably the worst time I've ever had at a fast food restaurant I had the bacon mushroom cheeseburger it totally tasted like goo . It was horrible and the soda was terrible to the people behind the counter acted like they didn't care and didn't really wanna wait on anybody either it was pretty pathetic. if I could read it less than one I would! read more

This last standing wendys in my area is a joke. They never can keep anybody and always close early and always have some stupid f**king excuse. I did a mobile order last night and we waited an hour in the drive thru all to be told all orders were canceled and they were "closed for maintenence" needless to say I was unable to cancel my order as it was processed already and now I'm out 30 dollars. Corporate needs to take over this lousy place and bring in real workers till they can find actual good help read more

Probably the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Employees so loud in the background talking about absolutely nothing, shooting the shit while the person taking your order on the drive thru intercom struggles to hear you and vice versa. Had me wait like almost 10 mins just to take my order. Get to the window and the girl takes my card and goes to hand me a 3/4 full cup of soda. Asked her to fill it to the top, she does but when I get to my destination the soda was as flat as her ass! Burger was not even wrapped properly, fries were old and cold, a large chili and small chili not filled to the top. The worst experience I have had with any fast food franchise! Never going back to that ghetto shit!!!! read more

My husband had his mask around his mouth, not his nose. He was dealing with our toddler coming off of a 4 hour car ride a d it must have fallen a little. The bitchy, nasty employee at the register said she wouldn't serve him unless he wore his mask correctly. Ok. He complied. 2 men were behind him, not wearing masks at all. They walk up to order. She says nothing to them about masks and takes their order. read more

Been here for a long time.food is nasty, hard, and old they take to long with my order they are ghetto.and they got my order wrong 4 times.the chicken nuggets tasted like cardboard.the burger bun was hard.the fries got no seasoning.and they take long at the window for drive threw. read more

Dave must be rolling over In his grave right now over this location! To the guy working In the back...scratching yourself is just nasty! The food was disgusting...fries were tepid, potato is cold, burger bun waS rock hard and the burger was a hockey puck! One word--disgusting. Bad Service. Cold food. Strange people hanging out. and been like this for years.

Absolute horrible expedience, every time. Last night was by far the worst experience here. There were around 8 cars in the drive thru... I waited an hour from the time I got there until I was handed my food. Then the woman in the drive thru taking orders/handing out food had the AUDACITY to have an attitude.. The food was cold/old. Please save your time, money, and sanity and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

I'm not one to leave a bad review for anybody but when you spent $42 and three orders you expect your order to be complete when the company hands it over. Not to mention I'm waiting for my order my incomplete order when received. Nobody mentions to me please wait we are waiting on a specific item so now I'm going back to the $42 today money is very tight and it seems like this company does not care about us reading past reviews there Has to be some thing done. Not only that also the cashier is handing food over with no gloves no bags just fries through the window. I don't know where her fingers were obviously in the register so Wendy's think it's time for you guys to wake up. read more

Stopped here on the way to Niagara Falls because we were starving and there weren't many other options =X. We arrived around 9:55am and the sign on the door stated that they opened at 10am, so we waited. 10am came around and the doors were still locked, 10:05 am and still locked, 10:15am and still locked. Finally around 10:20am the doors were unlocked and we were able to look at the menu/order. The food didn't take took long to come out, maybe 10mins, and we were out of there by 10:50am. In the end they opened late, the staff was depressing, the food was mediocre, and the floors were sticky. Good thing there's no reason for us ever to be back here. read more

OK, I admit to having been here a bunch of times. For a time they had a sandwich I really liked. So I visited a few Wendys, This one is ok, not great, not bad. Just fine. Easy parking. read more

I'm not sure there are words appropriate for how slow this staff moves. There were approximately 3 people in line ahead of me. I had time to read the ENTIRE menu before someone came to the counter to take my order. When she did choose to acknowledge me she did so with the littlest of effort. I realize it's fast food and you probably hate your job but don't make it so obvious. Once she took my order, rather than assisting the 6 people behind me she retreated back to the "line" to help the 4 other people preparing orders. The last time I checked the person manning the front is supposed to stay there to take orders, not hop on grill while people are waiting. After a 15 minute wait she comes back to the register and says, "you had the coke right?" I said yes. And she replies with "oh, then that's yours" referencing my waiting meal. Gee... thanks for letting me know. After that I waited for my 2 friends to place their orders and get their food. By the time they got theirs I had already finished my fries and started my sandwich... it took THAT long. Seriously, you may be hungry, and most people like Wendy's but this one is NOT worth the headache. Hit up a different place and get your fast food the way it's supposed to be - fast. read more

I work at Wendy's and the treatment there is horrible and definitely is favoritism....they make fun of my height not knowing I have a illness that's why I am short they slave you and I was taught wrong for 4 years being a manager they don't care bout your health or anything they let people steal and get away with slot of stuff and not probably training anyone how you get trained for for 4 years smh they be breaking mad rules and regulations here too as well make you work with one person they don't care who they hurt and stress out at the end of the day GM said "IDC what she can't reach not my responsibility" smfh really so much discrimination here and unfairness also higher person said the same when I told her I. Couldn't breathe not her responsibility Wendy's here is no good treat employees like shit and are ok with having people shooting up in the bathrooms read more

I downloaded Yelp just to write this review. The burgers were stone cold and I'm pretty sure the fries are from McDonald's down the street.

In the running for the worst Wendy's ever. We like the 4 for $4 deal, and ordered two of those. The cashier gave us the total, not asking if we wanted something else (we did). She had stepped away from the register, in front of the drink machine, and just stared at me, a cross between expectant and annoyed. I asked if I should tell her the rest. She was impatient, didn't communicate well. We asked what was on the junior cheeseburger, she told us onions, but ours did not have onions. Either it doesn't, and she told us the wrong thing, or they made it wrong. Also, we asked for no mayo on the junior bacon cheeseburgers, but ours had some mayo on it... seems like they caught themselves and took it off. We would have liked fresh ones with no mayo. She gave us a total, I swiped my card. She had seemed in a hurry the whole time (we were the only ones in line, restaurant almost empty), yet complained about me swiping my card too fast (again, poor communication - if she needed me to wait, she could have said). I was so frustrated ordering with her, I almost gave up and went to Burger King. But, I had a taste for Wendy's nuggets, so I stuck it out. Our food was terrible. I have never in my life thrown out a Wendy's nugget before, but these were gross. My husband said his junior cheeseburger tasted bad, he didn't eat it. Our junior bacon cheeseburgers were cold, the lettuce was wilty, the tomato mealy. I ate less than half of my junior bacon cheeseburger, we threw out most of the fries. They were greasy and overcooked. Some were so dark they looked like hunks of chocolate. The cashier was too busy loudly telling a story about her family and "the pee pee dance" to pay attention to what she was doing. She didn't give us a receipt. The tables were dirty, the whole place was just not welcoming. After we came in, a guy came in and stood at the counter for several minutes. No one helped him. He finally gave up and left. As we were throwing out our food, we said, "No one helped you?" He said they must all be sleeping back there. We said that we wished we hadn't been waited on, the food was terrible and we threw most of it away. We told him about the Burger King down the street, where they always do a good job, and he thanked us. I doubt he'll ever go back to that Wendy's again, and we don't plan to, either. read more

Absolutely the worst establishment I've been too. If I could give it a negative rating I would! When I ordered I asked for a 4 for 4, spicy chicken wrap (with no ranch because of allergies). My nuggets were waaaayyyyy over cooked. You couldn't even taste the chicken because they were so over done. The wrap had a great amount of ranch and when opened my hand broke out in a rash, thank goodness I didn't bite into it yet. To add insult to injury they chicken in the wrap was so old it had already crusted over like it had been sitting out for the entire day. Don't even bother eating here, just save yourself the time and money. They do not care about your food. read more

This place has trash customer service, they are very lazy, they always give cold food and they always have an attitude in their voice.

worst service i've ever had. not only did they mess up my order twice but they have an attitude. I came around 7:10 and everyone was moving in slow mo, i don't even mind the wait but then they gave us the wrong order, since we were out of line i walked to the lady outside and told her that the order was wrong. mind you there were two other cars trying to get there right order also. I get one mix up but 3? They didn't do anything for 30 minutes and we had to go back around to complain. We waited 10minutes more and we got our order, WRONG again but at this point i couldn't be bothered. I should have asked for a refund. I don't recommend this wendys if you want don't want to waste your time. it's now 8:20, driving home with half the food ordered with unsalted fries :/ waste of money and time read more

Wendy's in general is my go to fast food destination. I have long held a believe (which was shattered by Burger King that rural or suburban fast food chains strive harder to achieve higher goals of customer satisfaction than those in urban environs. I came up to Monticello from NJ for potential property viewing. As nature called, Wendy's turned out to be the most accessible spot for relieve. I was horribly surprised after my order arrived that the burger was absolutely room temperature and reminded me of the FAKE burger meat that I would expect at my local East Rutherford Burger King. The one next to Stop N Shop where the manager's response to is your burger fresh was, doesn't my kitchen look fresh with his X times warmed over unnatural burgers. I this burger (Double patty Jalapeño) looked and tasted just like the cheap burgers at the scary Burger King (sadly Burger King was my favorite). There was no semblance of fresh or pure even after they exchanged it for a slightly hotter replacement burger. I highly recommend NOBODY go there for the sake of health and sanity. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Wendy's, or fast food place in general. They had my debit card for over 5mins and when I asked why she/he stated that they were processing the transaction. It has never taken over 5mins to process a transaction at a fast food place 1st off. Then she tells me to move up to the gate even though there was no one behind me because apparently I was running up her time by waiting 5mins to get my card back. After sitting at the gate for over 20mins and having seen the transaction come off of my card in my web banking app they come out and state that I need to pay for my food to get it and after showing her I had already paid she started to argue and yell at me. At this point there were 3 people who came out to all see the same thing on my app. And they started yelling more stating it didn't go through. Yet the funds were out of my acct, and then when driving off and saying I will report them she called me a dumb B***(this was one of the supervisors or managers btw) so don't waste your time on this disgustingly ran place. They are all idiots:) read more

This Wendy's is just sorry. Moved to the area a few years ago. Early visits were OK but definitely nothing special. Over time this location has just gotten worse. Slow service. Try to charge full price when there are specials. Apparently this location does not follow nationally advertised specials like the breakfast sandwich special. No longer trust the food quality at this location. Does the franchise owner read these reviews? Seems like my bad experience is common. If I were owner I'd be taking action. read more
