Never ever did a review for a Fast Food International Chain, but here it goes. This Wendy's on Foothill has the most polite considerate employees that always greet you with a smile. The manager in the morning is on point and has a great staff supporting her. The Super Friendly Lead cashier is always incredibly delightful and warm to help you start your day. I am very sorry I forgot her name, but her smile is infectious. She is the Black lady that usually works the Drive-thru window -Incredible Human being... I recently saw an extremely rude customer that was playing "make a scene game" to get Free Food. Manager was spot on and handled the issue in textbook fashion. I also had a few incidents with Homeless people trying to loiter in their dining area. It was about 6.5 months ago - Manager fixed that.. This Restaurant is always busy, always clean, and always quick with your order. I would never write a review for a Fast Food franchise that serves burgers unless it was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, but I feel the staff there need a Kudas for their professionalism and incredible effort to give exceptional service. If Wendy's wanted to show a new Franchisee how to run a location, this would be the #1 choice. I have worked 24 years in the Service Industry from 4-Star hotels to selling $2000.00 suits at Nordstrom, your staff understand the difference they make by being a good team. Service: I always use the app to order my food, and I love how easy it is to pick up! If you want to pick up food in the mornings, drive thru is the only option until 8:30, but the line is never long! Let the person taking your order know that you have an online order :) there are always lots of deals on the app as well! Staff is always really friendly (even when they're really busy and stressed)! Food: I love their spicy nuggets and burgers! Their meat tastes fresh compared to other fast food options, and the price is comparable! Drinks: I've been coming in the mornings to order the frosty-ccino! I thought there would be a frosty at the bottom and iced coffee at the top, but I think they just use the flavoring/cream of the frosty. It's still really good though! The strawberry lemonade is also really good! They use strawberry syrup mixed with their lemonade from the machine, but it doesn't taste as syrupy as other places. One down side is that drinks always come with A LOT of ice. There's no option to ask for light ice on the app, so my drinks always come with at least half a cup of ice. read more

This Wendy's was renovated a few months ago and it looks really nice now. The staff is usually very inviting and helpful here so that's what makes them a little more special than some other locations. The salads are always surprisingly good here compared to other similar fast food places so I always opt for those. The salad itself tastes crisper and fresher, and the ingredients taste better overall. Also, the 4 for $4 meal is a great choice for folks looking for a cheap deal. They have the Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain machines so there's tons of drink combinations which is a great complement to the food. There's tons of parking in the lot here, it just might be a matter of how close to the store you'll park. The entrance to the plaza intersects on both sides of the Wendy's so be careful when walking to the store. read more

Newly renovated with new decor and seats. They don't say that annoying "Sparkey #" anymore (to communicate to the staff the number of customers in line) and they bring the food out to eat-in customers. Booths are a bit cramped and the tables are high, but they now have a Coke Freestyle machine! (look it up, it's an awesome customizable soda machine with flavors you can design on the spot) :) The new renovations have opened this place up a lot more and make the place welcoming to family-oriented customers; before this renovation, the customers were mostly young'ns and riff raffs. I usually don't give fast food restaurants more than 3 stars but this Wendy's is an exception because I really liked the girl that took my order. :) I told her I'm not ready yet and I waited on the sideline looking at their extensive menu (I'm not a regular at Wendy's so I had nooooo idea what to order). The cashier didn't have to wait for me but she stood by the cash register the whole time in case I was ready to order. She took my order with a smile and I noticed she was wiping down all the empty tables and was asking other customers how their meal was going! Great customer service for a fast food restaurant. Order my food through Uber eats got my food, but not my sauces for my chicken nuggets so simple yet overlooked.

This Wendy's location is newly renovated (renovated late last year actually) and really looks much better than how it was before. I came in tonight around 9:30 pm to purchase the frosty key tag for $1 (90 cents goes to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption), which will allow me to get a free junior frosty (comes in vanilla or chocolate) for free with any purchase all year of 2015 (not a healthy dessert but okay once in a long while). And since my husband was hungry and craving fried greasy food (we just came from a brewery and I guess he was craving this type of food) we decided to order 10 regular chicken nuggets and 10 spicy chicken nuggets. And since I got my frosty key tag, I was also able to get a free junior frosty as well ($0.69 prior to tax, I picked vanilla). We were given a ton of dipping sauces: 3 barbecue, 1 honey mustard and 1 buttermilk. Each of the chicken nuggets went well with each of the sauces (it's been a long time since I have had chicken nuggets, especially from Wendy's since I don't eat fast food too often). I thought the chicken nuggets were good but I think I've had better. Service was pretty quick and very friendly as well. The cashier who rang us up gave us extra sauces without an extra charge. And right when I paid for our items, our order was ready. As we were leaving (we ordered our items to go), I saw the new fountain drink machine. I have seen the same machine at Boston Market in San Dimas. The fountain machine is pretty cool because it has a touch screen menu in which you can choose from a large number of drinks. It's pretty high tech and fancy :) Anyways, I am pretty impressed with the new look of this location and will most likely come back again since I now have my frosty key tag (how can you not just love their frosties?). read more

My family has lived in Monrovia for 3 years now. Until we moved here we'd never eaten at a Wendy's so I don't know if they're all like this one but the service here is always fast and spot on. I don't think they've ever messed up any part of our order that was t our fault. A cool bonus is they bag every meal individually so you can tell what is what and who gets what. Nice for a fast food place. VERY clean, doesn't look old, employees were not crabby, & it has a living room area with a mute TV and fireplace. But I mean, the food is the same as any other Wendy's. WiFi is shoddy though, I chose to eat here because they're pushing free WiFi & I thought I could get some work done while I ate cheap food. For every 3 minutes it works, it doesn't for 2 minutes.
