We mobile ordered our food and it was ready very fast and was very hot and tasty as well as the employees were very nice at this location

Just the overall worst Wendy's location. They will def forget an item, give you your food upside down, not count the items you buy and give you less than you bought, charge you wrong. All the things. They did me dirty like 4 times and I still went back since it's so close to my house but now my New Year's resolution is to avoid this place by all cost. The fries are the only thing they get right. My chicken wrap had hard pieces and it's mainly just a wrap with a few pieces of chicken and lettuce. Which was browning. Service here is normal just ok depending on the leader on duty I've noticed. One guy just lets the staff talk loud and does not pay attention to the front end. Clean place to eat. read more

Their burgers are good, not great. The crispy chicken sandwich was a thin, skimpy piece of breast meat, not anywhere near as good as Chick-fil-a. They made a big deal out of changing their recipe for French fries, but they were so much better before, when they actually tasted like sliced pieces of fresh potatoes. Now, you can't tell them apart from most other chains, which means a greasy, overcooked fry. What a shame! last, but not least, for over $19 I got two small combo meals! I guess this is due to the minimum wage going up, and supplies being scarce, but I can get much better value at a handful of nearby restaurants, and I won't be returning. read more

What can I say? Based on a single visit, I think this branch of Wendy's is just fine. I was craving a burger and I spotted this place on the way from our hotel to a Ocean State Job Lot store. I was a bit surprised there was absolutely no posters or signs proclaiming specials going on like there always is back home in Florida. Business must be good enough for them not to need to run them. But I had a double Dave burger and chatted with the nice young man at the counter while they cooked it up fresh. It was tasty and hit the hollow spot that had craved it. read more

Worst Wendy's ever!!!!!!! I ordered from Uber Eats a sausage croissant with Swiss and American cheeses and got only American then I ordered a sausage biscuit with cheese and it only had cheese!!! While the food is fine at this restaurant, the service is often atrocious. If you order anything "special" (like no tomato) at the drive thru, you are guaranteed to get it wrong. If you have an issue, it is likely the manager is busy. And several times I have stood in line at this restaurant for 20 minutes and not seen the line move at all, because they are unwilling to either open a second register or deal with a problematic customer. If you want drive-thru and order straight off the menu, it is an adequate place to pick up food. Otherwise, choose one of the other restaurants deeper into Shelton or up in Derby/Ansonia. read more

We have had numerous problems with this particular Wendy's location. The staff does not pay attention and regularly makes more than one mistake on the order. They have no problem charging you for upgrades or extras on your sandwich, problem is you don't get what you pay for. Staff seems very rude. Have complained numerous times to the management and to the corporate offices with not even so much as a call back. Very disappointing considering that overall I am a fan of Wendy's food but the service at this location is absolutely horrible. read more

The food is pretty consistent, if they get your order correct. Staff are always friendly though, which is cool.

I have been to this Wendy's several times and even if the burger or chicken sandwich is not bad that's why I gave at least 2 stars the french fries are absolutely horrible. They are limp and soggy. I don't know what is up with this specific location and why they can't make them crisp like McDonald's or Burger King. Veggie Burger ripoff. I went to this Wendy's Sept 2 for a veggie burger. I had been there before and thought the veggie burger was great. A nice thick patty, a fresh slice of onion, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. What I received shocked me. When I took the wrapper off, I discovered a bun with some sauce and a pickle and a tomato and lettuce. No patty. When I went to complain to the server, Jennifer, who was the shift supervisor, she told me that a veggie burger is a hamburger minus the meat. That's exactly what I got for $3.95. I explained to her that I had had the veggie burger several times before there, and it always had a veggie patty. She gave me a replacement veggie burger which was identical to the first one.
