I had 0 expectations from this place. But this is what you call a legit hole in the wall. First impression I chuckled that when we drove by. I thought we were going to an abandoned dunkin doughnuts spot that they just kind of bought and took over. Walking into the restaurant you get the instant blow of PHO in your face. That' is NOT a bad thing at all! When you're pho broth game is that GOOD that is how it suppose to be! Whom ever made it. Hats off to ya! That was one of the best broth's I had in years on the east coast! NYC needs to up their game. They have high end, low end, or just average of viet food but in CT. I'm jelly cause this chef is 100% legit. Let's put it this way. That pho is so good. When you leave the place. It left a stank on my clothes! If you're a fan of pho. AGAIN. It's not a bad thing at all! That's when you know someone in the back perfected that recipe. I'm sorry I had to repeat it several times how good it was. Portions, cuts of meat, everything was on point. I would just come here for that alone if I ever drive back here. The spring rolls on the other hand was standard. Nothing too crazy, nothing special about it. I was hoping they use the clear raps and pan fried/deep fried it with that instead but we got to regular spring roll wraps which is fine. I actually have no idea why we rated it 4/5 stars the first time. We LOVEEE this place down! It has the best Pho in CT. The pork Banh Mi here is splendid too! The service is okay and the restaurant is a converted DD so it is a little silly. But it is a lovely atmosphere with truly wonderful food. We've been here more times than we can count i fear.. First visit 5/9/2026 at 1 pm. Cute restaurant, one waiter. He is also cashier and busser. So if the food wasn't so good, I would have a hard time recommending, but both our meals were amazing in flavor. The bread on the bahn mi is delicious. Our meals were served without silverware and it took two requests to get some. But again worth the wait. Everything was made to order and arrived fairly timely. It's not a fancy place, just ordinary tables. We finished our meal, I had 1/2 of my sandwich left and our server never returned to the table so again we had to go to him both to pay and get our to go box. Foods good, service not so much. We tried this family-run pho place and it did not disappoint. The pho was very flavorful. We also tried the lemongrass beef and one of the banh mi sandwiches--everything was delicious. I've wanted to come here for years, and I was really happy with everything we ordered. The pho was flavorful and had ample meat. The calamari was pretty standard but ample in terms of quantity. The shrimp vermicelli bowl was fresh. The restaurant is in a converted fast food building and has a lot of character. It made me wish I was eating in instead of taking out. I'm conflicted. I went back after 7 years for dine in and our pho was great. But our fried dumplings weren't crispy and the scallion pancake was soggy and too greasy. But the pho was really good! It was hot, had a ton of noodles and meat and came with chili oil on the table. Yum. I was sold. Then, a few days later I was craving a snack and ordered two types of egg rolls, the fried kind with pork and the summer rolls with shrimp. Everyone knows the peanut sauce that's supposed to come with them. I mean it's just shrimp and lettuce wrapped in rice paper. Anyways when I got home neither order of egg rolls came with the listed dipping sauce. I was really annoyed and it kind of ruined my mid day treat. They were bland and blah and I wasn't going to get back in my car to go get the sauces. They actually told me they'd refund my egg rolls order but never did. Best food ever!! one time they took off the summer rolls hardest time of my life without them. They brought them back though so if you're vegan, please go there and get their tofu summer rolls. I was craving some kind of soup when I passed by this place, and I'm so glad I stopped in! Clearly, it used to be a Dunkin' Donuts, but they converted it and it smells amazing when you walk in. I got a pot of green tea, the pork bao to start, and then a small pho, but just the basic one without added meat, just basically broth and noodles. The bao was okay, but the pho was incredible!!! There was sriracha and hoisin sauce on the table, but I didn't go near them. The pho was so good, adding anything felt like a crime. read more

I was in the mood for something hot to ease an upset tummy and pho is my go to. Only one size and it's a nice amount of soup and enough noodles to suffice (some places just don't give you enough noodles). I did not like the beef that came with it, put all the beef pieces to the side, it was low quality meat. Service was quick, I came during lunch and there were only a couple customers at the time. Casual no frills place to pop in and out. I thought it was a little pricey $17 for a bowl (pho tai) for the meat to be poor quality. I ordered the Vietnamese fried rice to go and it was not good. Rice was grainy as if it were days old or frozen. Very disappointing once we got home to eat. I realized that I did a review here 4 years ago. I'd say since then the quality has gone down and I prob won't return nor would I recommend. read more

This is some of the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of NY/LA/SF. Super flavorful, reasonably priced. The tofu is delicious. Ordered takeout here two days in a row. I always order Pho Tai, and it was good, although the portions were a bit smaller than I had hoped. The broth was clear and maybe a tad oversalted, but rich and fragrant with star anise and maybe a hint of bonito flake. I always order extra noodles, so I had plenty to eat, and there was enough meat to make it worth the cost. They offered several sauce packets with the takeout, which I always appreciate, and my only complaint would be the quantity and quality of the greens - not much cilantro and the Thai basil was tough. At least one of those things is simply a supply issue, and it was a bit cold during my visit, so I will give them credit on that because it may be a difficult ingredient to acquire locally. The staff was friendly, the dining room was clean and there were several tables occupied each time I was there. All together, a lovely meal and definitely a special place in Milford. read more

Excellent food and a hidden gem in the area! This Vietnamese restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking spots available. Whenever I'm craving Vietnamese food this is a good place to check out. They have a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes for whatever you're in the mood for. Once he got to the door and saw the d-shaped door handle, we realized this must have been a Dunkin' donuts in the past. The staff was friendly, the service was good, and the food was delicious. Bay Area to CT craving for some Pho and so glad I found this place via yelp. Suggested it to the girls since we were all craving for something warm and Pho is perfect for that. The staff were nice and friendly and the place is your average Pho joint. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We had the P1 pho-great broth, spring rolls, and the fried rice. All were delicious all well flavored/seasoned and honestly everything just hit the spot we came out full and super satisfied. Pretty decent Vietnamese place in the area. I tried the combo vermicelli dish, and the pho with tripe, tendon, and rare steak. The vermicelli bowl was super delicious and had great charbroiled pork. Pho Broth was light yet flavorful, and there was a good about of tripe. Wish this place would give thin sliced onions on the side as well. Last night, my family, a wonderful friend (who is a regular patron there) and I had a delicious meal at I Luv Pho in Milford. It was our first time there! I can't believe we haven't been here! Our friend ordered apps on our behalf. We devoured everything: shaken beef/bo luc lac, pork belly bao, Vietnamese style chicken wings, pork chop rice /com suon nuong, and pho tai/rice noodle soup. My hubby ordered a pho dac biet which has lots more proteins. I am very picky about my pho (always compare it to my mom's) but this was delicious, nourishing and was accompanied by crisp, fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil and limes. No meal is complete without the Vietnamese coffee. The staff makes you feel like family. There's plenty of parking and plenty of available seating. Wine and beer are available and they can do takeout too. If you haven't been, you must definitely try this wonderful family owned restaurant. It's worth the drive and we will definitely be back!! We were in the neighbourhood and found this place (on yelp of course!). The building used to be a Dunkin' Donuts so it looks very fast food like. We ordered: - fried egg rolls - pho tai nam (beef) - pho ga (chicken) - fried rice We ordered x-large but it wasn't really that big. The pho tai nam surprisingly retains heat very well - it had been 10 mins since they brought it out and it was still boiling hot. The egg rolls were yummy! It did come with sweet chili sauce instead of fish sauce. The pho ga was very tasty, although the sliced chicken breast was very dry. Fried rice was tasty and good. Overall we had a very good experience and will be back to try other items on the menu. read more

The facility is nice, clean and spacious, when I compare it with other Pho restaurants in the area. The service is friendly, and fast. As much as I love dunkin donuts, I love a good pho and bahn mi more. Which is what I usually get (yes I know its a lot of food) for brunch. While the building was once a DD, it has been transformed into a typical Vietnamese restaurant with a very typical menu. The bahn mi tasted very good. The baguette was crisp and chewy and the chicken was very tasty. Recently I have been loving the lemongrass beef better than the chicken. They do pack the bahn mi with meat! The pho tastes OK. They only serve a large and extra large which is more than enough when you are very hungry. Occasionally the noodles stick together which may an indicator that it was not freshly made. The broth has always been spot on. There were a few hiccups, however. Once every so often, I now expect that they bring out a different pho or bahn mi than then the one I ordered. Not that I really mind, since all their bahn mi tastes pretty good and their pho (except their meatball pho) tastes decent. Price is average all their Bahn mi $8 + L pho $11-13 + tax/tip = ~23. Bottom line, I Luv PHO in Milford is an average Vietnamese restaurant that tastes pretty good! I think I would have given this place 4 stars, but after the last order mixup when I was one of two customers in the restaurant at that time, I had to bring it down a star. read more

I was craving a bahn mi.. the ones I had in Vietnam... the unctuous pâté, the French butter, the freshly delivered rolls from the men on bicycles. Did I get that completely? No... but was it delicious none the less? Yes! They used Mayo instead of butter (I prefer the butter) . The veggies were crunchy, the bread was good, the meat was more than enough. It was a pretty solid sandwich. The pho I had was a bit lackluster (for me). I wasn't crazy about the broth, the tendon was way too chonky (I like it sliced thinly) and the fatty brisket ... although yes I knowwwww it's "fatty" was overly so and I had to pull a lot of it off. I live in queens, but every Monday I have a meeting by this place. The location is clean and very well taken care of. It's my third time here and I love the food. I'm a summer roll and pho kind of guy. It's family owned and that alone is noticeable in the customer service and the food quality. I strongly recommend this place, the food and the staff. Have dined here numerous times over the past few weeks and they have yet to disappoint. Been here for both lunch and dinner and it's always busy. Service staff is very nice and it appears to be family run, which is a plus. I've gotten their A1 egg roll for app and has just enough crisp in every bite. Feel free to use up their sauce-it's sweet and delicious. P3 Pho is my go to bowl when I'm here. Broth is very flavorful, and meat is fresh and plentiful. Add a spoon full of Hoisin Sauce with a drip of sriracha sauce for a bit of kick. Get the Large vs X Large because their portions are big. Also, they close early at 8pm for a restaurant.
