My girlfriend loves her frosty's and so we travel to Wendy's. This is her go to location for when she needs her Dave Thomas fix and my few trips with her (enough for a Dukedom) have warranted a review (albeit a quickie). What can I say that may not have been said before about a Wendy's? Well I can't speak to the food at this spot because we've only taken out frosty's (and you can't really ruin that, I think). The place was basically clean and decently sized complete with drive-thru. Perhaps the workers need a mention? Two trips ago we had a friendly young chap when we purchased our frosty's (and one of those key chains that gets you jr sized-ones for a year). This time, the woman behind the counter was a little curt. We did arrive close to the closing of the interior, but it was a bit much to see her follow right behind us and quickly lock the door. Woah doggie! Overall, it's Wendy's and it does the trick when looking for that caliber of fast food (or frosty's in this case). I do love the occasional trip (at the spot near me or by my GF), though I'm hoping to see someone else taking our order next time. read more

You can be a manager at Wendy's having no understanding of math, sales tax, or the people skills to politely discuss a price discrepancy of 90¢. I have never had a manager be so rude to me in my life. I had a coupon for a free sandwich with any purchase. I ordered my sandwich and side. I ordered the sandwich with a "seasonal fruit" for 99¢. When I got to the window, I was asked to pay $1.98 but 99¢ with sales tax is only $1.08. I explained the price is wrong. The item is only 99¢ on the menu. -She cut me off and said the menu doesn't have sales tax. I said sales tax is (about) 8% in NY and that she was doubling the price. -She cut me off and said, "no, I'm not." I said yes you are, 99¢, twice is $1.98 and- -:: SLAM :: She closed the window on me as I was mid sentence and walks away after interrupting me 3-4 times. Another employee comes over with no acknowledgment of what just happened and asks what I would like to order as if I had just gotten there and was ordering from the window. I repeatedly asked why she walked away / shut the window while I was speaking. I ask to please speak with a manager. This is ignored. The original woman comes back over and yells something we all knew already, "I DON'T MAKE THE PRICES, THE COMPANY MAKES THE PRICES." I ask for a manager again, to which she explains, "I AM the manager." At this point I repeatedly asked why she walked away from a customer who was being polite, professional, and courteous simply asking for an explanation on price and told her she was being extremely rude to me by not discussing the issue and walking away. I asked for my coupon back. They also handed me SOMEONE ELSE's credit card, but I never handed them any form of payment. In hindsight, I believe that the additional amount was the sales tax for the free $4 sandwich. It isn't my job to know that, and the manager should have been able to politely, professional explain that to me in plain language. I don't know if this Wendy's is situated on a haunted ancient Indian burial ground , but I wouldn't doubt it! Since the first time I came here when I was pregnant and almost got cut off and beat up in the parking lot , both workers AND patrons are angry and mentally unstable! Went today through the drive thru and kept getting cut off repeatedly while I'm trying to tell the " friendly " worker how I want my hamburger. LET SOMEONE FINISH THEIR SENTENCES WHEN ORDERING!!! They never mess up my order and the staff is always super friendly. I always order my fries without salt and they make me a fresh batch. Yikes... My latest experience at this Wendy's was pretty grim. I almost felt like I was at Arby's (aka "how is this still in business?" kind of feeling). The quality was just...bad. I generally like Wendy's, but even just walking in the door we were put off by the smells. It smelled horrible in the building, and it didn't help that while we were ordering some guy brought the outside garbage in and rolled it THROUGH the kitchen. Talk about garbage food! When we got our food, everything except the chicken nuggets were bad. Mushy, cold, just tasted off. Not to mention that my burger from my #1 looked identical to the jr. Cheeseburger my girlfriend ordered, despite there being a 2 dollar price difference in sandwich prices. My girlfriend has only been there twice... And I was stuck begging her to give Wendy's a chance, and telling her how it's normally not this bad. Hopefully I can convince her to give another location a shot! I absolutely hated working here. I worked here for 2 years and hated every minute of it. None of the employees take their job seriously, the manager Scott is a dick and overworks his employees. The fluent Spanish workers always talked shit about everyone in Spanish. I was always forced to close till 2 am every weekend. Couldn't drink in front of the cameras and customers for some reason. I don't recommend working here at all. Also, there's a lot of stupid customers too, I mean like really stupid. Greetings Fellow Yelpers, I am not often one to write reviews on this platform, but this drive-thru experience was utterly deplorable. To begin, my caravan of guests and companions simply had a hunger that needed to be quenched, and our closest attempt at solving and completing their needs for satiety was none other the Wendys of 112, Medford New York. We approach and are met with the recorder of our moderately-lengthed meal order at approximately 10P.M. on a Wednesday Evening. We proceed to order with no issue at all, quite perfect display and transaction of words, like none other I've seen before, our service was second-to-none at this point in time. We approach the window of retrieval where we can complete this transaction between our currency and their providence of food. One of the passengers of my vehicle had a sudden burst of immediate thirst, so we requested an additional small Sprite and medium water, and we were met to our surprise with a smug-face and unjust reaction with a vocal sound of general disgust and no word that I could've found in the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary that fits the description of her reaction to our request. After this brief mental quarrel, if you will, we receive our food and proceed with our evening. Preceding the exit of the lot, we begin to distribute our recently received requests. After the distribution of all food to the members of my heavily occupied vehicle, we have realized that we were lacking a Wendy's 4-For-4 (Spicy Chicken Sandwich Option), after this newfound complication, we begin our expedition to retrieve the meal we had paid for. By the time we have rerouted back to the Drive-Thru lot, there was a sudden line of cars, shocking the rest of my passengers and myself. Due to the absence of a single meal order, we decide to retrieve the phone number of this location to cut the time we have already wasted at this establishment and attempt to complete our task of this meal transaction in record time. My vehicle's designated Telecommunications Officer was met with yet extraneous reactions and attitude that did not meet our expectations as a paying customer. As we approach the transactional window for the second time this evening, we were immediately met with a figure of higher power residing to this establishment who seemed to have yet another quarrel to commence with me and my passengers. Completely unbeknownst to my knowledge, the employee responsible for recording this 4-For-4 request in our original order, did not seem to record this upon review of our receipt with the figure of higher power. Being that we could not leave a member of my vehicle ridden with hunger while the rest surrounding may consume their meal, we proceed to pay for this extra order, and they begin to prepare the meal. There was a bitter attitude from all members of the waitstaff at this point in time and the providers did not seem to wish to be prevalent there anymore than my companions and I felt. Quite an awkward exchange of words and body language, but to say the least, it was a relief like no other to exit the lot once and for all, for what felt like an eternity. I went to Wendy's Drive Thru last night and ordered a 6 piece chicken nugget with sweet and sour sauce. The girl said "hold on..hold on." Now I get greeted again. I repeat myself. "Did you get the 6 piece chicken nugget with sweet and sour?" "ok...6 piece...what kind of.....what kind of umm. sauce?" "...sweet and sour." Now I order a value fry. I make sure they're hot and fresh. They say yes. "Okay $4 even, pull up." Now I get my bag and there are two things of chicken nuggets in my bag. Was this a mistake? Should I be happy? I get my receipt. I was charged for ten. I tell them I only wanted 6 and asked for the refund difference. A manager comes over and starts getting my change and asks the cashier "Did you get it back?" She says no and the manager reaches her hand out to me. I don't know what she wants. Does she need my card back? The receipt? No. She took the bag of food back. Her hands were wet from washing dishes and she reach back in to take one of the nuggets away. Not only did she take the nuggets, she took one of the sauces too. What is she going to do with those nuggets? Put them back for someone else?? Throw them in the garbage? She handed my bag back with a wet rim. Down a sauce. Hands me back my change wet. Not that I wanted those 4 extra nuggets, but don't see why they wouldn't say "Sorry for OUR mistake, just keep them, here is your refund." Just seems like bad customer service. Every time I ask for chili WITH cheese they never fail to give me chili WITHOUT cheese. This was my first visit to this location. They were doing major construction on the entire parking lot. There were no clear areas to park and huge slabs of cement were left without any warning or ramp helping your car to get up to it. Definitely left the parking lot with some damage to my axle. The food was decent, but the fries were soggy and I ordered a giant JBC, which was about the same size as a regular JBC. The location near me gives out a sandwich which is at least double the size of the regular JBC.
