Now you may be asking why am I saying that? if you've had Golden Krust, especially in Florida, then you know the food quality is not as good and the cocoa bread is hard and cold, but over here the cocoa bread is soft and warm every time you order, which I appreciate that so much. There's only been one occasion where Customer Service was subpar, and that's one of the reasons why I'm only giving a 3-star rating. Another reason why I've deducted a star is because of the pricing; it seems a bit high for the amount of food you get. Other than that, the food is really good I will still come here to get some good beef patty and cocoa bread anyway.

We came here by chance. We'd tried to go to a new place a few doors down, but when we stopped in…read morethere was no one there -- no staff and no customers. So we came here. We've been to other branches of this restaurant. It's authentically Mexican -- not dumbed down spice wise for gringos. So be prepared. My husband got a burrito with ground beef and rice and beans. I got their Mexican shrimp cocktail. There was a ton of small shrimp mixed with a very spicy tomato/ketchup sauce and tomato pieces and onions -- all topped with avocado. A few packages of crackers were served on the side. It was good, but I had to eat slowly to adjust to the peppery taste. And the "small" order was more like a large. My husband's burrito was packed with everything. It was large enough that he took half home for a later meal. He said it was very good. Glad to know they are as good as their original location.

Gave the crispy chicken nuggets another try since they added a diablo mikes hot honey sauce which was amazingly sweet and spicy. The nuggets were also golden brown delicious and I was actually able to see pieces of the tortilla in the chicken breading this time. Last time nuggets were fried too hard and could be used to stone birds. I also got the loaded beef nachos which are tried and true with refried beans, sour cream, guacamole. Just a box of yumminess.

Decked out with disco balls, funky chairs, graffiti inspired artwork, and the best music I've heard in a quick serve spot -- this place feels more like a local bar. Everything was completely spotless clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. There's even local touches like a community board which I loved. The food comes out super quick too! I've gone for The Box which had 4 tenders, Cole slaw, sauce, fries, a drink, and bread -- and the 3 tender combo with bread, a drink, and fries. The chicken is so dang fresh, juicy, and tender. Most places tenders are rock solid and overcooked, but this felt like it was right out of the fryer and so fresh. The breading was lighter, but still had a crunch -- even with some softer/wetter spots. The sauce was really good and the fries were solid, although a little undersalted/seasoned. The lemonade was also really good! I'm absolutely going to keep coming back here!

About five minutes later, I check the counter. Not ready yet and there is a growing queue for the restrooms. A family had gone into the one restroom for diaper changing and such. With the crew responding that the other restroom is "Employees only" so it was not great. Dining room had some trash on the floor, too. After standing at the counter for a solid ten minutes, the young man working the register got my drinks accurately. And then it was fifteen minutes more until the order was ready. Peeking around the corner, I could see the manager on her cellphone. At the table and pulling it out of the bag, my burger was there, the fries were there (extremely anemic and underdone), the nuggets were there. And an extra order of fries and extra nuggets with two bonus sauce packets. BUT NOT THE POTATO! I had to go back to the counter for that and this was prepared properly though light on the cheese. Overall, 26 minutes (receipt printed at 3:23, food ready at 3:49), to get "fast food" and then the order was wrong. They do have the Coke Freestyle machine here for refills. They had a sign out listing things they were out. It was mostly the sourdough sandwiches. I ordered the Clucker combo. In my way home I was drinking the coke and eating those delicious, and addictive fries. I didn't toach the sandwich. I got really sick from one of those two items. I was glad I got home on-time. The employee said, "Ok, actually we're closing then," then refused to take my order. It was 2:51 a.m. when I drove away, so he closed at approximately 2:45 a.m. Closing after I'd already waited in line and then asking what I'd like simply because I needed a moment to look at the menu is extremely unprofessional.
