I can never get enough of the sonic slushes. I have come here more time than I can count. They do make all the food correctly. The new staff is also kinder than the old one. The area feels safe and is clean about 90 percent of the time. A few of the call boxes are broken. It also takes them a little longer than other locations for your order to come out. I ordered Sonic in Greenacres with DoorDash this week. Double Super Sonic Cheese Burger, Large Onion Rings and Large Chili and Cheese Tater Tots. The Chili/Cheese Tater Tots and the coke were great. The onion rings tasted off. The batter was sweet tasting, not salty at all. I'm a huge onion ring fan, really disappointing. The burger was a so mashed together you couldn't even tell if there was lettuce and tomato on it. The buns were so flat it looked like I had 2 bottoms. I took it apart to find a slice of tomato so thin I could see through it and a scant amount of lettuce. There wasn't much flavor to the burger but it was nice and juicy/greasy. I used to get great burgers there, not sure what happened. I know Smash Burgers are their new thing, maybe they just smashed my Super Sonic into a flat hockey puck. So I haven't been to a sonic in years, so I came to Florida to try one. As always went with the reliable 5 and 6 can't go wrong with those. It was raining like hell right now and they are doing the best they can with the service. Place is just chill like all the others, so relaxing because you're in your own car. That is what I do like about sonic. There drinks are always good along with the 24 hour breakfast. Will come back for sure. Maybe stay in Utah for my next visit. I wanted to treat my folks to an after dinner treat and I suggested Sonic. It was not at all late...and definitely not at all busy. We waited and waited for someone to acknowledge our presence after looking at the ordering guidelines. Perhaps drugs or sex was happening but business was not. There was no movement that could be seen inside and then suddenly, after an extended wait, some staff was there. What were they doing while patrons were patiently waiting? Seriously...What? I don't care if your business is fleeting at night...know why you're working there. Respond to those who have chosen to show up at the establishment where you receive a paycheck. Was disappointed when I opened my quarter pound cheeseburger and it had burnt edges. I just couldn't handle it when it was dry as well when I took a bite. Told Mike, the manager, and he went out of his way to make a fresh new one. It was also quick! Honestly the best service I've had from Sonics. And the best management at a fast food restaurant. Went here today for an ice cream dinner with my son. It's was around 6:40pm. Pressed the button, waited five minutes. Employee picks up and say it's a 10-15 wait and then hangs up on me. Shocked, I pressed the button again, they answer and I said, "Are you telling me I have to wait 10-15 to place an order?". He replies, "Yes, unless you want your food cold!". Never again. This was the last straw. The good news is there is a brand new DQ right down the street. I left, upset, went to DQ and got great service! I wanted something quick and I drove right around into a spot that was open to put in my order. There is a menu full of hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, tater tots, onion rings, fries, shakes, sodas, and whatever else I may have forgot. You can pay right at the kiosk or give the payment to the server that brings it out. I've been a sucker for the coney chili dogs for the longest time and I got one of them the other day. The foot long hot dog is loaded with chili and cheese. There's a fork included in case you don't want to get your hands dirty. Their shakes are great too. I didn't get one last time, but I'm sure the next time I will. Keep in mind that every summer they offer half off shakes after 8 p.m. All the servers come out with the orders on roller skates. It's something a little different than the usual drive thru that's offered. You can either sit outside and eat it on site or in your vehicle. Most of the time we end up bringing back home since we don't want to deal with the mess in our car..lol. It's quick, friendly, reasonable, and fun for a drive in fill up. read more

Ordered 2 Grilled Double Cheeseburger they're advertising. I got a double Cheeseburger on a hamburger bun with onions, I asked for no onions. I pressed the red button to explain the error. She came back on the speaker to let me know they're out of toast. They need to tell the customer this instead of making something different. I changed my order so she sent someone out to get the double Cheeseburgers. I didn't hand them over cause I was worried they'd put the double Cheeseburgers in someone else's bag. I had already opened the sandwiches. So I paid for the extra burger. I also ordered the Churro shake that's supposed to be topped with a Churro and it wasn't. They send emails and have posters on the wall advertising specials like the Bacon jam burger, Bursting Bubbles drinks snd Cheesecake Blast but they never have these special items in stock. Very very very poorly managed location. Prepaid to be disappointed repeatedly. This is even after calling and complaining to Sonic corporate who I guess just doesn't care. For what it's worth I will say that this place is consistent and very appealing when you're in the mood for some junk food! It has a very user friendly interface and the vibe is always happy and upbeat. I love how they market their new drinks and the colorful kiosks that you can pull right up to are very retro cool. And now for the hammer, since I am in my mid 30's I have been dining at these establishments for at least a decade now, this place has changed! The quality is just for starters. Our chicken bites were mostly fried breading and little chicken meat. I would recommend their tenders instead. The drinks were fabulous but what ever happened to their roller skating deliverers?!? I think that is the coolest feature these places used to offer and I just wonder where they still might do it? Not here at this location! Anyways, like I said to start, this is very consistent and predictable and there are a few redeeming qualities that make it a worthwhile experience especially if you have kids. It seems like a cute idea to have waiters bring your food over in roller skates but many are just watching who will fall and who can carry the biggest load. Petty - but it's a trill factor to consider when getting fast food. Food is pretty greasy and coated with butter. Desserts are loaded with calories but it taste good enough that every so often you want to have a burger with tots and sonic blast. Our waiter wasn't to chatty but he was able to carry Brownie Molten Cake Sundae with Pecans OREO Cheesecake Shake Peanut Butter & Bacon Shake (He ordered it repeatedly and it's not on the menu??) Sweet Iced Tea w/lemon wedges Sausage Breakfast Toaster (at 4 in the afternoon) Chili Cheese Tots Onion Rings Footlong Quarter Pound Coney Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster and (2) SuperSONIC Bacon Double Cheeseburgers and he remembered straws, spoons, ketchup, and napkins... but he forgot the syrup. So I sipped my tea and watched as the server skillfully speed inside and returned with my syrup for my Breakfast toaster as everyone else passed food around the table. There are 2 Sonic experiences: the first one is surprisingly one of the top 3 best milkshakes you will ever feast on, second is them giving you the same thing with out the proper wide cardboard straw... no joke. It's happened to me twice now & I thought I was high the first two times when I had that strawberry magic, but nope it was the straw. This is the laziest and most disappointing breakfast burrito I've purchased. March 8th 2018 I came across this sonics one night with my friend it's the closest one near me so I always come here. Usually everything is great but this night it was not so great. We order food and everything was fine until we receive the food the carhop who was helping us was rude she did not look at me or my friend not once has she handed us our food she forgot the sauce that we had asked for so she went back to get them but when she came back she basically threw them into the car and did not wait for me to put my hand out very very rude very disappointed with my food as well my tater tot's that came with chili and cheese were not up to par like they usually are & my french fries were half empty not to mention my so-called boneless wings that were literally half sauced! read more

let me premise with this- it's hard to find good help nowadays. but Jivon was AMAZING. my friend and i ordered online and after about 30 minutes with nothing, we called the store (yes we checked in). the young kid on the phone answered and when we explained, he hung up. we then pressed the button on the monitor and they told us it would be right out. 30 more minutes later and still nothing. we came to the front of the building to try and get an employee and Jivon came right out apologizing. it's 11pm. he explained to us he's been clocked out since 9pm but he stayed to help. while a girl is sitting on the counter inside, he's over here trying to make things right. their slushee machine has been down for 2 WEEKS. he apologized profusely and made me a milkshake AND a grape sprite AS WELL AS a blue raspberry sprite. he asked if the food was cold and the tater tots were. he took them and is now remaking them. his sense of humor and his goal to help my friend and I didn't go unnoticed. i hope the owners or managers do something great for this guy. he expressed he is working two jobs right now. customer service is everything to me, especially as someone who works in the food industry. read more

You can pay right from your window at the menu board (with a card) or wait for them to roll around with your food and pay with cash. Yes, roll around. They're on roller skates! I've never seen any carhop fall, either. Mad skills. I love the mozzarella sticks, corn dogs, and hot dogs. My mother LOVES the fact that they offer a Chicago dog; she was born and raised in Illinois, so it really brings her back to a happy place. Don't forget the shakes made with real ice cream!! Oh my goodness - they have SO many flavors to choose from; coconut cream pie is fantastic, among many others. Overall, Sonic continually brings me satisfaction.
