Came in off Rt 95 and realized we had been to this location the year before. Food / service was Ok last time. This time....... parked and saw that there was a black SUV parked directly in front of the walkway into the restaurant, so that to get inside you had to walk around the back and on the ice. So I was PO'd before I even entered. There was a group of girls on the dining side all talking. We put in our order and the girl who took it told us that they were out of 3 things including potatoes. I got nuggets and my wife got a plain chicken sandwich. About then a girl who looked like the asst. manager pulled in behind the SUV and was briefly talking to the girls (like she knew them) in the dining area before going into the back. The words "Could you please move your car" were never spoken. We got our food and about that time all the girls went out and piled into the SUV so we and the couple ahead of us had to wait till they pulled away before going to our cars. Down the road after I had finished my nuggets and my wife finished her sandwich we both agree there there was a "taste" to the food, like they had been fried on old oil etc. My wife said "Wendy's....never again". read more

This location is always understaffed. Therefore the food and service suffer greatly. Fries are usually decent and I do like their baked potatoes but that's where it ends. Burgers Pattie's taste like they've been sitting in a warmer. Same with the chicken patties. Today I tried the Crabby Patty meal (subbed a potato for the fries ). The pineapple frosty was so tiny I questioned them if I got a kid size by mistake. I didn't. Burger not even close to filling up the bun. Sad. So sad. read more

Usually the best hot food, crispy fries but tonight the fries were warm and soft and oddly enough they were all about and inch long!! What is that about?? My baconator was just warm instead of hot like usual. The burgers looked old and dark and they were dry tasting. The cooking staff on duty tonight SUCKED!! Stopped here from the highway, and they told us they were drive thru only because they were short staffed. The girl who told us that was sitting in the dining room with a guy, not working behind the counter or anything. It was really wierd. read more

Today we went in and waited 20 minutes at the counter nobody even said anything to us they just kept serving the drive thru and the two people in front of me walked out really mad after approaching the manger to stop working the window for a moment and serve the counter we ended up walking out too and so did the people behind us. 12:40pm . I was PHYSICALLY THREATENED on 4/6/23 about 7PM and the manager did nothing except pull the woman into the restaurant. I have a call into corporate, got in touch with the BBB, am leaving reviews all over. I am a 57 year old woman who stopped for a chicken sandwich on the way home from work and was accused of "staring to hard" at a server, then as I exited the place she threw off her hat saying she did not need the job and was going to "throw down" screaming in my face nose to nose. I should have called the police but sat on the phone with corporate until I calmed down. Never ever would I have thought I would deal with something like that. They should be ashamed of themselves. Dined 11/26/11 I can't disagree with Marissa, because in the recent past (less than 6months), I have had to wait 15 minutes or more for food after placing my order. I must say though that last night was a lot better, my wait time after placing my order was less than 10 minutes. May be, just may be this Wendy's location is finally catching on that customers want service, but then again, may be it was the shear fact that there was only one (1) teenage employee working tonight and the other three were adults over the age of 25. I just to love Wendy's growing up as a kid. Back then I was impressed that Wendy's never used preformed patties nor frozen meat, and they used to hand press each lovely square burger. The days of Dave telling you to get a lot of napkins because the burgers were "Hot n Juicy" and you were going to need the napkins. So Wendy's has tried to resurrect the "Hot n Juicy" image, and I must say that they got close with their revamping the menu and creating the "Hot n Juicy" burger for Dave. Something I am still not square with, and probably never will be, is the changing of their fries from those yummy thick golden fries to a version of Boardwalk fries that are never crisp. A good fry is crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, add just a touch of salt, and there you have perfection. Wendy's has a super program with a local children's hospital where they sell Frosty shaped key-tags for $1, and then for the whole rest of the year, every time you make a purchase you get a free Kid's frosty. That's awesome!!! Wendy's, here is a challenge for you. I will give you 3 stars if you can get your wait time down to 5 minutes. Remember this is supposed to be "Fast Food", so you shouldn't have to die of starvation while waiting on your order. read more

Not real sure why this location has so few stars. I have been eating here for as long as it has existed at this location. Through the years the the staff has changed, some better than others. My visit today I can tell you that I had the most polite and courteous young lady taking my drive thru order, and have encountered her previously. My double Jalapeno Burger was Spot-on; hot and juicy! I drive 60k a year, and have been to more Wendy's all over the Tri-state area than I care to admit, and I can tell you that this location with the aforementioned young lady makes this Wendy's One of The Most All-around Best locations. read more

Don't bother ever going here. This is literally the worst fast food place I've ever been to. The chicken nuggets taste like they've been fried multiple times and have never been fresh when I got them. At the drive thru, I've sat for 10 minutes at the speaker waiting for them to take my order, only to be told they were out of baked potatoes (the only thing I had stopped for.) Another time, they didn't secure the soda lid properly, and as soon as I grabbed it, it spilled all over my car. The last time I went, I ordered a chocolate frosty, the cashier said "okay" so I paid for it, then I was told they were out of chocolate frosties...how can you charge someone for something you dont have? The staff was unapologetic and could not care less about their mistake. You may be wondering why I went so many times after having consistently horrible service and inedible food. It's only because it's the only drive thru on my way home from work. I am done though. After 5 absolutely awful experiences, I would rather drive miles out of my way than ever spend another penny at this poor excuse for a Wendy's. They served barely warm food that could not be eaten once we found the bread bag tab stuck to the bottom of the bun, just made me feel that all of their practices were quite unsanitary. This is always subpar on previous visits but the tab was the final straw. Keep driving... stop at Sheetz or go a little further at any other fast food place but this one. read more

If I could rate lower than one star I would. Like the prior reviewer I have had nothing but poor service and only stop here because it's convenient. I was greated by an extremely friendly Woman who suggested I try their new Mushroom & Onion Ring Burger since i couldnt make up my mind what to get. It was my first time at Wendys. Mind you, my expectations for Wendy's are not that high. I fully understand that Wendy's is not a fine dining establishment but serves a need for hot, freshly prepared, fast food. I ordered chicken strips, French fries, and a drink. The drink machine was a free style machine which I always like. The chicken and fries must have been cooked several hours earlier and been hanging out under the heat lamp. If I wasn't starving and on the road a few miles down the road when I started eating, I would have tossed the food away. Don't roll your dice on eating at this Wendy's location. My family have suffered with this place for YEARS, through a number of staff, and management turnovers. We end up giving it another try, as this is the last stop to grab something to eat on the way home, after a long day/night. Just a week ago, i was getting home late from work, and thought i'd grab a chicken sandwich to bring home. I asked for a grilled chicken sandwich. with lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, and to add cheese. I asked that they make it fresh, so it would still be warm when i got home...3 blocks away, and i didn't mind waiting. They said it would be 8 minutes, which i said would be fine. I got home, and it had NO tomato, and a single piece of very wilted lettuce on it. I tried to call them, but they didn't answer the phone! When my son was young, he would want a hamburger, with NO pickle...get home, there's a pickle! read more

I would not even rate this place. This and the Pizza hut next to it are horrible. Wendys....hmmmn Love the franchise, despise the Joppatowne resturant. Always mess up the order, dirty inside, toothless servers that do not have an ounce of respect for themselves let alone a customer. When I have to walk thru their smoke at the doorway to place an order, and then greeted by some very lovely people, sarcasim. Wow is all I have to say.
