3/5 stars: "My Pleasure" Felt More Like "My Inconvenience" I've been a loyal Chick-fil-A customer for years, and the brand built its reputation on hospitality. That's why this morning's visit stung. I came in around 9:45 a.m. for breakfast. After finishing my meal, I walked up to the pickup area inside with my empty cup in hand, which at any Chick-fil-A is a universally understood signal for a refill. No line. No other dine-in customers. Just me, standing there. For about ten minutes, I watched four employees walk past me. They called out DoorDash orders for drivers who weren't even in the building. One employee left the counter to wipe down the dining room and walked right past me without a word. Another walked over to drop a bag on the DoorDash shelf, looked through me, and kept moving. I asked for a refill three separate times. Ignored each time. Finally, I stopped a young man heading back to the kitchen and asked, "Do you still do refills?" He said yes and started to walk off. I had to ask a second time: "Could you please give me a refill?" He paused, said "Sure, my pleasure," and grabbed my cup. Here's the thing. "My pleasure" is supposed to mean something here. It's part of why people choose Chick-fil-A over every other fast-food chain on the strip. When it gets reduced to a scripted line you mumble to make a customer go away, the entire brand promise falls apart. I'm not writing this to get anyone in trouble. I'm writing it because the standard S. Truett Cathy set was the reason this company became what it is, and the team on shift this morning needs a reminder of what that standard actually looks like. Service: I've been going to this Chick Fil A for like almost a decade at this point and it's literally never been bad. That's insane actually now that I think about it. Not a single bad experience here. I would give them 20 stars if I could. Food: By this point everyone probably knows what the food's like. But I still recommend the Spicy Chicken Sandwich because it's a classic. Thank God they keep their menu simple - simple and well done is better than being weak on a diverse menu. Setting: The place is busy as hell though. I usually go in because drive through was always packed when I went. But the drive thru moves reasonably quickly too. My favorite things to order is a #1 with no pickles and add American cheese, but I literally love everything on the menu. Their nuggets, grilled sandwiches and their breakfast is yum! Campbell Blvd Nottingham Md - went there this am for breakfast as I had some errands to run. Went via drive-thru after and had such a great conversation with the white haired gentleman at the window. This is why I love going past the other chick-fil-a to go to this particular location. 1. The market salad I got was ample on the lettuce and variety of lettuce. 2. Chick-fil-A to me is the King of fast food restaurants. The service quality, the food, cleanliness and the fresh flowers on every table. But not all the Chick-fil-As are the same. Some do a better job than the others. This location is one of the best I have visited. The staff, the food quality, the fresh flowers, cleanliness of the restroom, everything looked good. Particularly my sausage egg and cheese biscuit was excellent. The biscuit and egg were so fresh and fluffy and the sausage so juicy. The flowers on every table and even in the restroom were so beautifully arranged. This is a very good example of Chick-fil-A! read more

This is one of my favorite stores in the chain! Why would that be so when their parking lot is small and always crowded? The staff get people in an out so quickly you seldom wait more than 2 minute in one spot. Several times, staff have directed traffic to ease congestion. I did a online order for curbside pick up. When we got there the inside was completely closed and when we asked one of the workers where we can pick up they just told us to completely cancel our order and to just go through the drive thru. I eat there often and everytime a little different but consistently good overall except once. Extra odd flavor in the macaroni and cheese.

I stop by after lunch hours in as usual, and to be expected the lines were long and drive-through. However, they had both lanes open and only one was taking orders, and I watched several cars passed me while I was in the middle of a transaction that got put on hold several times by the cashier. Needless to say, I got completely frustrated and left without food and will never return. This is so not expected at Chick-fil-A. I hope they learn to do better. read more

This place was very crowded when we came in, though we apparently beat the rush. I'm shocked my husband was able to get the food so quickly. Two gripes, though: one is the same one I always have with the CEO's attitude on gay people but the other is their miniscule ladies room. There is only 1 sink in there & I had to put in contacts while we were stopped here on our long journey back to NYC. This had to be one of the smallest bathrooms I've been in outside of any in NYC. It was definitely the smallest one I've been in at any Chick-Fil-A in a freestanding location. This place is also in the midst of shopping chaos so you will probably have a time trying to get in and get out. The drive-thru also had a crazy long line when we left so more organization could be used in handling that traffic. read more

Usually I wouldn't review fast food but this place is from another world. You all know what Chick-Fil-A is about so I'll tell you what is different about this one. First, everything is organized on a godlike level. There must be an actual person that measures how to place all the sauces and utensils in the cupboards because it is always perfect. I saw some employee dedicated to this area. Second, the place is super clean. I mean CLEAN!! They must clean around the clock. Third, the employees are way too nice. They always smile at you. They ask you your name so your food comes out by name only. Pretty detailed operation. Lastly, the meticulous nature makes this place unreal. Food is fresh. Service is fast. Employees look like they are either making a ton or are just well trained. Maybe there is a bonus system for whoever smiles the most. And speaking of smiles, everyone I saw has perfect teeth. I love Chick-fil-A, but tonight's experience here was horrible. I had to wait 15 minutes to place my order...so much for fast food. Worse, there were a lot of employees visible, but no one waiting on customers. There was one single cashier with 15 people standing in line. The shift manager was standing out in the open counting cash, and I realize that she was setting up another cash drawer, but customers who are stuck in line shouldn't see you standing counting cash. Why management allowed the front line to drop to a single cashier doesn't make any sense, especially with how busy this location can be. The customer line system at this location just adds to the confusion. There are two entrances to this location but no definitive place for the line to start like you would find at McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's (one entrance, a set path to follow to the next available cashier). No this location has 3 divided off entrances with no way to organize 1st come 1st serve. Customers just end up in a total clustered mess. Look at the picture. Management at this location needs to look at how both the Aberdeen and White Marsh locations handle their lines. read more

Seriously, I can only give this place a five star review? Nothing higher? I see people complaining about this place being packed. That is a sign of a business that has great food and even greater customer service. I am always more than happy to see long lines and a field parking lot. This is why I am addicted to the mobile ordering. The food is consistently awesome- fresh, hot/cold, delicious. On the incredibly rare occasion something isn't done quite right, the management more than makes up for it. I think in my last 200 stops in this location, I have had only one issue with the food (an extremely minor one at that). Pretty incredible statistic if you ask me. I'm embarrassed to say that when I placed a mobile order the other day, they saw me coming and met me at the door with my food. In my defense, I am usually picking up food for other people. LOL. Another thing I love about not only this particular location, but all of the Chick-fil-A's around is their dedication to serving the community. They do an incredible amount of work for those who need some extra support. Mad props to any organization who does this!They have a lot of fun events for families with children. Sure they do this to help increase their revenue, but at the same time it is bringing families together and teaching children things that they might not have learned at home. This location is normally super busy during lunch hour and that's from about 12-130pm I mean it's mayhem I've been here several different times and those times are when I stay away. Of course it perfect customer service the parking lot is big. This location is in the middle of a lot of other fast food chains. I love that they always have a new seasonal beverage. Chick-Fil-A uses peanut oil to cook the food so please be mindful of you have a nut allergy. I don't like when they change the salads you get you a favorite and bam it's gone lol. This is an excellent location! It has been around since I was in elementary school! It's still a go to spot! It has more recently been renovated which looks amazing! They are always quick and efficient with the drive thru! They are welcoming and attentive when you dine in.
