Five Guys has the best burgers out of, well, anywhere, and great service. I'm surprised to see this restaurant only hovering around a 3 star rating at the time of writing this. The only real critique I can think of is that the food is a bit pricey compared to other fast food establishments like Mcdonalds, BK, Wendy's, but the quality makes it well worth it. I don't even consider Five Guys to be "fast food". It's far too good for that label, it's in a league of its own. read more

I love Five Guys and this was the first location I ever went to and continue to go back to when I am in town visiting family. I love their burgers and fries. I always get a single burger all the way which means it has tons of toppings on it. All my favorites. My mom and aunt both had plain burgers. We also had a big order of fries. They always pour extra into the bag which is great. I also had some of their peel your own peanuts. They were tasty. So overall a great lunch. Good food, lots of fries. My husband and I have come to this location about once a week, for the last 5-6 months. It fits very well into our cheat meal plan. I gave this location another try, got the cheeseburger, regular fries and a chocolate milkshake: total cost was $20 , expensive for a meal for one at a fast food place. Friendly staff but food was meh. The chocolate milkshake tasted artificial and just like pure chocolate syrup and it was in a small cup, definitely not worth $5. They gave me very little amount of fires. We needed a quick spot for lunch after leaving church. I don't eat beef but my boys do. My son ordered the food over the phone for pick up. It was a quick and easy process. We didn't have to pay over the phone, which I like because I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card information out over the phone. My son said that the woman who took the order was really nice. When I arrived, I informed her of this and I could see that behind her mask, she was smiling for ear to ear! If you Five Guys then you already know the deal. I love the fries and the milkshakes are good. Keeping in mind I'm not even. Milkshake fan. They have what I like to call a Magic Drink Machine. You know one of those red fountain drink machines where you can mix and match and make your own drinks. They are popping up more frequently but I think it's a bonus especially if you dine in. I've gone to many of these, but haven't been in about a year. They seem to have lost a step. Lunch on 1/1/14 w/Grandson. Had a hot dog. He had a double burger. We split an order of fries. Small drinks for both of us. His HB was easily the star of the show, according to him. I found the hot dog just ok and the fries slightly underdone. Neither was a standout worthy of distinction. Heads up for all: if you order something on the menu and want to change any if the "fixins", make sure you let them know before the order is entered. While the store was steadily busy, there was only minimal waiting at its peak. Generally very helpful associates. Parking was not an issue in the mall lot. Would I recommend? Not for the hot dog, which I recognize is NOT their specialty, nor for their fries. Best I can recommend is, with the opinion of a 16 y/o teenager, a huge YES for the hamburger! Will I return? At some point for the hamburger - yes, but it's not something I am looking forward to with breathless anticipation. I certainly WOULD NOT order the hot dog or fries again. read more

It had been a long time since I had a five guys burger. I was jonesing but it was not meant to be. Ordered online at 4:30 for a scheduled 6:30 delivery - planning ahead and everything. But 6:30 came and went and no food arrived. I called the location at 6:45 to report the problem. I was told by the manager that there was nothing he could do to help unless I come in. I could not do with a family hungry and waiting to eat. I asked for a refund and was again told I would have to drive in. The manager was dismissive and no help. No excuse for a lack of customer service. I guess I've had my last Five Guys burger. read more

2 Stars why? Food is always great. But.....last time we were there, they forgot one of our burgers. We didn't check until we got home ( snowed in and all, we just wanted to get back and eat). We immediately called and the person on the phone was rude and snarky, and acted as if we were lying about them forgetting a burger. They even made us read everything on our ticket, as if they were going to miraculously find the exact burger laying somewhere. We then sent an email to corporate, no reply. When did the burgers become so small? I ordered a "little" burger because in the past I could never finish a "regular". This time I literally had to go searching for the patty. In the past, you could barely get your mouth around them and the juice would be dripping down your hand. This time I literally discarded the rim of bun that had no burger in it at all. I felt like I was eating a lettuce and tomato sandwich. A junior burger for $1.50 from Wendy's is better. It was also over $48 for dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids. Awesome experience!! My husband went in tonight, five minutes after closing, and after he explained our situation the workers wonderfully made us burgers! It's our anniversary and we've been dealing with screaming kids all night so we never got a chance to get out. I'm also nursing my son and have to eat dairy free, soy free, and egg free. It's really hard to find places that can accommodate such a frustrating eating routine but, five guys has the best online menu and faq section to let you know any and all allergy information. My burger wrapped in lettuce was the best I've ever had and my husbands burger was huge also! Everything was fresh and delicious, even the bacon, and they were already closed. This is the worst Five Guys I've ever encountered. My husband, mom, and I ordered burgers online, so my husband picked up our food and brought it home. When we opened our burgers, we found issues with each one. My husband's cheeseburger only had one patty. My mom's little cheeseburger had a pathetic looking patty that seemed more like half a patty. However, the worst issue was with my burger. My little cheeseburger had no cheese and no burger patty at all! It was simply a bun with toppings. How does a burger place forget the meat?! My husband called to complain and then had to drive back over there to get the newly made burgers. The manager didn't want to give him a refund either, despite the fact that he had to drive there twice. She did end up giving one, but she shouldn't have argued about it at all. This isn't the only problem we've had at this location either. Last time we went they forgot go put bacon on the bacon cheeseburger. We will NOT be returning due to their horrible quality control and the lack of good customer service. read more

The fries used to taste great like boardwalk fries....now they're just a greasy, underdone, tasteless mess. The "cheeseburger" was sad. Small and tasteless. I got there at 11:46 on a Monday. Asked for a water cup but could not find the water option on the new soda machines. I saw sparkling and flavored so figured those were my options. I do not like either so I just got half a cup of coke thinking nothing of it. The manager proceeds to yell in front of the entire restaurant for everyone to hear that I took coke without permission. He was acting as though I was trying to steal that small amount of soda and trying to embarrass me. As I tried explaining to him that I simply couldn't find the water option and offered to pour it out, he said he didn't care and made me pay for a full soda anyways and then yelled at me to get back in line. So rude and awfully embarrassing over a 2.00 soda that I was not trying to hide or steal. Maybe if they offered a little customer service, those things wouldn't happen. Especially offensive coming from the manager of the store. You think he would know better. Definitely won't be back there. read more
