Placed an online order on 3/16/25, and spent $40 including the tip. One of the items (craft your own double, plain, no cheese) was wrong. I called back and asked for the manager, and I could hear a young girl in the background say that someone wants to talk to you. The man (later known as Chris the manager at Bel Air Wayback Burgers in the Festival, at (410) 569-2711) said "who's this tough guy who wants to speak with me?" When I asked him about it, he said it wasn't him -- 100% he lied, for it was him. When I told him the issue, he could care less, so I asked for the Corporate number and (of course) he didn't know it. After stumbling a bunch of times, I hung up and I'm emailing Wayback Burgers at (wecare@waybackburgers.com). This is laughable, for Chris (manager) did not care. The service was unprofessional and rude. I had a simple request of making a double burger a single burger. It seemed as though the two young kids (male and female) neither knew how to make this possible. They both finally said it's the same price for a single burger as it is for a double burger. I came here last Saturday on July 5th, the food was tasty so I would definitely go back although one specific worker made me uncomfortable. I would recommend going here because all the other employees I spoke to were very professional and nice to me and my mother. Ordered 1 hamburger and an order of chicken tenders. Both orders were wrong in one way or another. I have to have friends pick up the food because I still am not well enough to drive. I live super close to this place, and I have to say I FRIGGIN LOVE IT! Fries are great. They do cook the burgers to order on the flat top, and I witnessed the burger chef holding up each burger over the grease drip tray for just a second before she plopped them on the bun. To me, this might just be her way of doing stuff, and it's not necessarily the company's method, but seeing her do that gave me a good feeling about this place. Basically, she cares. She cares about the finished product for the customer, and I really like that! The burger itself is very good, and the roll is super fresh. The complete package. Ordered online tonight 12/17/2023 - ordered a double burger and only checked pickles and cheese. Ordered a double bacon burger and unchecked everything that was checked leaving just cheese checked. I asked for a refund, and he said no, he made it correctly. I asked how do I order 'plain' on the website, when the only thing I checked was cheese and unchecked everything else. He said he didn't know how on the website, and said he made it right way with cheese. Then he hung up on me. I called backed and asked for the manager's name (since he didn't give it to me the first call) and he said, "Yea, I'm the manager, Chris!" I asked if the owner was in (familiar with the couple that owns this franchise [at least Patty B.]) - he said no, and said do you want to come in and get a new burger? I said I didn't want to drive all the way back out there in the rain and again said, my ticket said, double burger with cheese. He said "I don't give a F*CK what your ticket said!" Nice and clean inside, even the bathrooms. They make the food right as you order it, so it's fresh. Five guys burgers taste a little better in my opinion, but these are good too. I was craving bleu cheese crumbles on a burger and I didn't want to go to the same ol'standbys so my boyfriend said he drives by this place everyday on his way from work....well lets go! I am in love with any place that welcomes me at the door! *instant smile on my face*. We get to the counter and there is a limited menu but you can order any combination you want which expands the menu a bit. The server was very patient since this was our first time- we ordered our food and I requested onion rings fried and they perfected them! They were nice and crispy always throw and wasn't soggy *5 stars. The burger wasn't greasy and seasoned to perfection, the bun was fresh and light.
