I go to this location because it's the closest Wendy's to me if I'm craving some of their chili on a cold day, but I'm just going to have to make the drive elsewhere from now on because yesterday's experience was the worst yet. The drive-thru line is always super backed up because the service is extremely slow, so I was prepared for that. But then the woman who was manning the register had me repeat my order twice before finally entering it and asking if it was correct. She was a nice enough person, it was just irritating. The last straw came when I got up to the window to pick up my food, and the gentleman at that window literally (I'm not exaggerating here) shoved the drink and the bag of food into my face. I thought it was just over-eagerness to rush or something when it happened with the drink, but it happened again with the food. He reached well out of the window and into my car and aggressively pushed the bag at me. I was a little startled, but just said, "Thanks very much," and he closed the window without acknowledging I'd said anything at all. We all have stressful days, goodness knows, and this was lunch time at a busy location, but I couldn't believe how rude it was that the gentleman at the window not only didn't acknowledge me but literally shoved my order at me. It was the weirdest encounter I've ever had at a fast food place. Was hoping that the remodel would revamp this whole place, but it just didn't happen. Been to this Wendy's a few times. The food is usually fine, but the service is terrible. It's consistently slow, regardless of dining in or drive thru. It's usually chaos inside even with few customers. Tonight I tried drive thru again. Waited at the pick up window for 10 minutes without an employee saying anything of even looking at me. Someone finally opened the window and shoved the food out. Not a word spoken. I honestly prefer Wendy's over Chick-fil-A, but it's no wonder the Chick-fil-A next door is aways busy and this Wendy's isn't. read more

I don't normally like eating at fast food joints, but sometimes when you're dealing. With a long drive you grab what you can. I stopped here for a quick pickup and I was back on the road in a matter of minutes. Food (single with cheese and fries and a snack wrap) was fine and the drink was cold. Service at the window was friendly and fast. Fast food, tasted great, fast service with a smile...seems like a no brainer to me if you like Wendy's. read more

This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I waited in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes after someone coming on the speaker, yes I could have left. Then I get to the window, and everyone is standing around except what looked like the manager, waited for another 15 minutes for my food qith at least 10 cars behind me. I get my food and one sandwich is missing. It's like the guys (all guys and 1 female) were in chill mode. No since of urgency for anyone. Unless it's a dire emergency, do not use this Wendy's. If I could give zero stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and will not be returning. Went through the drive thru since no one else was there and sat there for over 25 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Pulled forward to the window to see what was happening and an employee had the audacity to make eye contact with me and walk off. Sat for a couple more minutes till someone came to tell me it would take another 15 minutes till someone could TAKE my order, not even make it, just to take the order! My husband and I used the drive-thru and the girl on the speaker first off, had an attitude for days right off the bat, and when my husband politely told her he needed a minute, she rushed him by saying "You can start whenever you're ready" literally 30 seconds after. When she handed us our food, we didn't have straws, so he asked for them and I swear I saw this girl roll her eyes and basically toss the straws to my husband. Seriously? Extremely slow took the fast out of fast food. Seemed to prioritize the drive through. Soda machine in lobby only has diet. People were walking out of restaurant unserved because of line and SLOW speed. Wendy's should be better because of higher prices. The food and wait are not worth it. This place is a travesty to the Wendy's namesake. We have used the drive through 3 times. Only once did they get our order correct. The last time was so bad it looked like an entirely different order. If you enjoy food you didn't order, cold fries, and long waits, this is the perfect place for you. The line next door at chick-fil-a was excessively long so I decided to give the Wendy's a try again. Same as usual: they ring up the largest meal no matter what size you order and they dont give you a receipt. When I ordered a small, I was given one price, I pull up to pay and I'm given another price. I told her thats not the small meal price I was quoted, my card was swiped and I was assured it was corrected and I would be charged for small. Next window I was given a large meal and I check my debit card entries, charged for large. No receipt is every given at this location because they are fraudulently over charging and ringing up what they wish to sell. read more

When through the drive thru to pick up some lunch since I was in the area. Chick fil a is next door and their drive thru line was wrapped around the whole restaurant. Because I didn't have 20min to sit in their drive thru, I decided to try Wendy's because there was no cars there. I know why now! My order was correct but the friendliness of the workers was seriously lacking. I stopped at the first window to pay so when the lady returned my card I waited for a receipt. She gave me a look like I was irritating her. I asked for a receipt and she said they would put it in my bag with the food. I move to the next window. This is literally the WORST Wendy's that I've ever been to in my entire life, and I've been to a lot, in about 40 different states. I mean, absolutely the worst. I'm actually trying to give this a 1/2 star, but this app won't let me. First time there, I went inside, there was only two people in front of me and I waited 33 minutes for my food (Asiago chicken sandwich meal). The second time, I tried the drive through. I should have known better, but I really like Wendy's. However, I pulled right up to the speaker box, there were three cars in front of me. I waited at the speaker box several minutes before someone taking my order. Then, I'll be damned, it took over 20 minutes for me to get from the speaker box to the window in which I paid. I said to myself, NEVER AGAIN. Now, Chick Fil A is next door, so yesterday, I wanted some real bad. I head that way and DAMN, the line was completely wrapped around the entire restaurant. I looked at Wendy's and there was two cars in that line. I kept telling myself NO, NO NICK, DONT DO IT, but I said screw it. I took that right turn into the drive through. The minute that guy took my order, I knew I was screwed. After the third time of me saying that all I wanted was a chicken sandwich, no meal, just the sandwich, and what the screen showed, I knew I done messed up. So, 22 minutes later, I arrive to the order pickup window. I swear, the guy who brought me my food must have just smoked an entire bowl of the Mary Jane because he was Highhh as a Kite. Unfortunately, this is the closest Wendy's to my home and while I do come here occasionally, I go out of my way to go to other locations. The employees here are not very friendly. With 5 family members, I am usually ordering a few items. After each item, they ask "is that all?" and as I'm literally telling them my drink order they interrupt to ask what drink I want. I always feel as though I'm bothering them simply by showing up and ordering food. There's usually a lot of laughing and joking that I hear when I'm ordering in the drive-thru. I also can't recall the last time I didn't have to pull up to wait for an order (usually it's several cars that wait right along with me). Tonight, while waiting for my order, I observed an employee dip his personal cup in the ice dispenser with bare hands. This location got a brand new renovation just a year ago. If they don't change the staff and make some changes then there's no way they'll stay open. I won't be back. read more

I went to the Wendys located at 7057 Arundel Mills Blvd., Hanover, MD on Oct 29, 2021 at 8:00 pm. The line was very long and slow Placed my order on the app and paid $30.00 Greeted at the window with "no ice for drinks" Bacon cheese fries had no toppings.  Just a container of fries? Had to as for dips that I placed on the order of the app. I could not find nuggets in the bag and asked for my nugget. Someone claiming to be the Manager starts yelling at me "I know those nuggets are in there"  I found them and said "ok" She continues to yell "I'm the manager and I know your not going to get more nuggets". I am handed a container of fries with cold cheese on top I drive away as this very unstable manager is still yelling at me. Food was gross,  Stale hard bun, warm drinks, everything else cold.  Fries sprinkled with shredded cheese.  Not edible! Pictures below I wasted over an hour and drove away hungry. Went through the drive-through yesterday with two other coworkers on our lunch break as we are taking training all week in the area. We had three separate drive-through orders for the same car. We ordered all three orders and then got to the window only to realize they didn't put in the last order so we had to sit in the drive-through and wait for our third order and they ended up giving us a wrong drink. We just took it anyway to get out of there. The sad thing is we all ordered the same exact thing so I don't know how they got it wrong! Ordered one 4 piece chicken tenders and one 3 piece chicken tenders was told they only had 6 ready after we had already paid. I'm not sure what the problem with this restaurant is. In the past it seemed to be good but in the past few months it's become useless. For several weeks I would park to go inside because I don't like the drive-thru and the doors were locked in the middle of the day. The drive-thru will take you 15 minutes with no one in line ahead of you. I think they need to close this down until they can get either enough employees to staff it properly and do the work or until they should sell it to a franchisee that gives a damn. Corporate Wendy's should be taking a look at this because it's destroying their brand. Tonight I went through the drive-thru with two cars in front of me and it took 9 minutes for them to take two orders from those two cars then I got to the window and my order apparently disappeared because after about 7 minutes they brought me somebody else's order then asked me what my order was and then came back and asked me again and eventually got me the right food after nearly 17 minutes from the time I ordered. Somebody needs to remind them this is called fast food not mediocre speed food. I don't eat Wendy's regularly but I do like their chili and I think now I'm going to have to give it up until I move closer to one with competent staff and management. read more

I love Wendy's and on a cold winter day there isn't anything better than the chili! This is a typical Wendy's. Most people here are shoppers that are going to or leaving Arundel Mills - so its very busy. The drive-through was very busy so going in and ordering might be a better option. There was only one register open on a busy shopping day but the young man at the register was doing the best he could. He was very friendly and took everyone's orders then he would review them for accuracy. There are lots of finicky customers here with their special orders - sometimes you just have to laugh it off. Very dirty with dried up ketchup on the counter. Stood in line for over 15mins just to be told they would be right with us. Employees on their cell phones and talking while the costumers waited to be served. One employee took her hat off and set it on the counter next to the food while fixing her hair.
