I found a hair in my bacon eater fries and it definitely is not mine because as you could see by the photos the hair is black and I have brown hair. very gross; i won't be back. two stars instead of one because I have no self-respect so I removed the hair I continued to eat. the fries tasted good however. read more

Decided to stop by for dinnertime 645 pm. Two cars in front of me. I would estimate order time at roughly 2 minutes per car. Ordered the Pretzel Bacon combo. The burger was juicy, tasty if somewhat overdone. Most likely for food safety considerations, though I did not specify degree of doneness. When I pulled to the pick up window the staff were enjoying their work. Having worked in kitchens in my teens and 20s enthusiasm makes shifts go faster. I just left Wendy's. Whoever the 2 idiot is working the 9pm shift got my whole order wrong. First I told him no ice they put ice. I tell em chili no cheese or onions. He says we don't put that like I haven't been eating Wendy's for 10+years. I get home cheese and onions in my chili. I order tortilla chips on the side and they charge me and forgot my chips. After they gave me my food they forgot my change while I'm sitting there so when I said You forgot my change they look at me all crazy like I'm the one doing something wrong. You suppose to give the customer the change right away before u take someone's order. Night shift a bunch of retards got my whole order wrong. read more

I've gone to this Wendy's a couple times a month since it opened, and it's always been good from a quickness and quality standpoint (thus I would've given it 4 stars). But....there is a problem w/this Wendy's in that its staff tend to forget to give credit cards back after ringing up orders. This doesn't happen when there are 2 separate windows, but when you have the staff do the food bagging and charging the order, they can (and do) forget. Never had this problem w/McDonalds, the Wendy's in Clark, or Taco Bell. I won't be going back until they change new managers. On 12/12/21, I drove away without my card and didn't have to use it til late that evening, so I had to pick it up the next evening after work. Per the manager, the card was left unsecured until I was able to pick it up (other time I left my card under diff management but at least the card was locked in a drawer overnight). A couple days later, I had fraud on my card. Coincidence? Or is it cuz they left the card unsecured for over 24 hours? I asked him why the card wasn't locked up, and suggested he make sure that credit cards are always locked up until the customer picks it up or someone can get their hands on it. He answered "Funny, other folks leave their cards and there's no fraud" (as if my suggestion is out of line and he doesn't make sure cards left are secured). I said "Oh, so there ARE numbers of instances where people drive away without their card, so this is a real issue w/this Wendy's." I asked him to remind his staff first thing they need to do once the charge is rung up is to hand the card right back to the customer. He answered "I will but it won't make much of a difference as staff are bound to forget when they're busy, so it's up to the customer to ask for their card back before they drive away." Instead of saying "Yes, you're right the card should never have been left unsecured and going forward all cards left will be locked away," he deflected and said my suggestion it could be one of his people that swiped my card info was out of line. You don't deflect and put the blame back on the customer for driving away without their card. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, he told me I should remember to ask for my card back (so it's basically my fault). #CustomerService101fail read more

I'm happy to report that Wendy's in Garwood seems to have cleaned up its act. I've made a few more visits, both to the dine-in and the drive-thru, and service has been timely in both spots. read more

Not really the best customer service or friendly location. Went to drive through, waited few minutes for someone to even take order. was told hold on waited some more. Gal took order asked for frosty, was told only chocolate, said no. pulled around, asked Gal to speak to manager was told she was busy. left to get food at a different restaurant. Also had several issues too with location in past. Previous time, went to try to go in to order, doors locked, went to drive through attempted to order but speaker box was broken, asked person is dinning room closed, was told yes. Workers inside let 6 teens inside restaurant to order food. why was the dinning room closed for me but not for 6 teens. Not really liking the staff or location. I go somewhere else. not worth the time or frustration. read more

Worst drive through experience of any fast food place ever 9pm on 17-Sep-2020. Rude, obnoxious, sarcastic, nightshift female on the speaker. All I said was "I need a minute to order" with no one behind my car. She said "you have 30 Seconds!" I said, "you are joking right?". Her response, "NO I have a business to run!". So obnoxious I left and went to Taco Bell. I will never go back to Wendy's in Garwood NJ again. If there was a zero stars rating option I would give to them on that experience alone. read more

Almost always overcook burgers and mess up the condiments. Wendy's Clark is perfect at filling your order.

The good: The place is very clean and very modern. They did a great job inside and have a nice set up outside with lots of seating under shade. The bad: no matter when you go, no matter if you go inside or use the drive thru and even if not busy, it takes forever to get your food. Way too slow. Maybe because the entire staff is too busy joking around and laughing and hugging each other. Great that the staff seems to get along but not good for production. Another really bad setup is the drive thru line. Its always long (because they are so slow)and the way it's set up the line blocks the parked cars from leaving. They need to redesign the way the drive thru works or flows. The food is fresh and staff is nice but they need to step up and speed up! read more
