Aloha gang! It's been a long time since I've visited a Wendy's restaurant. This location seems to have a busy drive thru. Parking is limited and tight. The interior is bright with large picture windows. The restaurant was clean and comfy. When I entered the restaurant, there were no customers, I was greeted and my order was taken. I did notice others entering behind me and for some reason, they were not acknowledged or assisted until my order was completed. Strange??? At one point, the customer behind me was starting to feel neglected and almost left. One thing I highly recommend is Dave's Cherry Cream Soda. It was a light and refreshing way to cool off and I just couldn't stop going back for refills. It paired perfectly with the Dave's Single Burger which included a hamburger patty, American cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and ketchup between a premium bun. The French fries were crispy with just the right amount of salt. Drinks are self-serve and the machine boasts 100 flavor choices. For dessert I chose to purchase a Caramel Crunch Vanilla Frosty Fusion. (Who picks these names?) The frosty was very sweet with touches of caramel and a bold vanilla flavor. It's finished with a topping of tiny toffee flakes that are also mixed in. It gives you the "'crunch" that the name implies. Overall, a tasty meal. read more

Sorry, but this place was neither real, nor fresh. Went through the drive thru, ordered a chicken sandwich and fries for my wife, and a different type of chicken sandwich and fries for myself, with an Iced Tea. The lobby was closed, hence the drive thru and we ended up pulling into a spot to eat. Her chicken sandwich was ice cold, hard to the touch ice cold. Both her fries, and my fries were cold and soggy. We went back through the drive thru to let them know and was told to pull around and they would bring it out to us. We took the bag and pulled back to a spot to eat. Her chicken sandwich was better this time, and they did replace the fries, but they replaced both of our fries with one small fry. The Iced Tea tasted like dispenser had not been cleaned in a long time and was not drinkable. Did not go back thru again as at a certain point it's just not worth the time. read more

This location hates their customers, worst ever! Every other location I've been to has no problem, giving butter at no additional charge for their baked potatoes. I ordered a baked potato, and they said I only get one butter. And then I asked for more butter and he charged me $.50 of butter. But apparently it's not in the system as butter, so it looks like he charged me for chili! How are you only going to give one butter for a whole ass baked potato. See pictures below. read more

His famous line was " we don't cut corners, that's why our burgers are square"..... Mobile app not working. Paper straws (ewww) Employee on break in the lobby, listening to videos on his phone AT FULL VOLUME Asked for pepper; got handed two small packets. Had to wait and ask for more. Again, two small packets, carefully selected. Clearly management is forcing their employees into this. Fries were burned, overdone....and cold and stale, at the same time. Clearly they refried old fries, and probably from last night since I got here right when lunch started. I didn't take the small and said can I please have large, then she gave me medium I just took it and left. There's a gentleman who's there for the morning shifts, who's very curt and snappy with the way he talks @ customers rather than 2 them. Entitlement to mistreat customers is not hospitality. This particular location has an entitlement to be rude to people. They don't acknowledge people as soon as they come through the door and act like whatever they're doing at the moment is too important to say, "Hi, I'll be right with you'. These guys make the burgers at 9:00 AM. Then proceed to reheat and serve them all day long. You will never get a freshly made burger at this location. It's pathetic. I had a disappointing experience at this Wendy's location. When I arrived at night, the menu lights were off, and it seemed like they were closed. After I mentioned this, a staff member said they were broken, but magically, they turned on afterward. This inconsistency left me concerned about their service. This is an older and not necessarily good looking Wendy's. It looks old, feels old, and it's just not a very attractive place inside. I know Wendy's "doesn't cut corners" (ha ha ha) but they certainly have saved some money and cut corners by not updating this store in about 40 years. Our Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was edible. It wasn't horrible and it wasn't good. It tasted like every other cheapo fast food burger out there. See you again in about 40 years, Wendy's. read more

This is the worst chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was very mushy, tasted like ground chicken. The French fries were equally soggy

So the chic with the finger nails ran my card twice while I was in the drive through. So I have 2 purchases I made at Wendy's today and only 1 of them I have knowledge of until I checked my bank account right now. It wasn't a double ring up it was another transaction. Did a quick drive through and they gave me the wrong order - I asked for regular nuggets but gave me spicy! And fries were old not fresh. Also gave me a knife for my frosty. AND they tried to keep my card!! Gave me the food first like I wasn't going to ask for it back. I'll be checking my bank to make sure they didn't overcharge me. This place just can't seem to get it together. The food is okay, considering it's Wendy's. It's fast food and it's on par with other fast food joints in the area. The issue I have is that for some reason, they seem to have a vendetta against giving me my barbecue sauce. I cannot recall a single visit in the last five years where they have remembered to give me the barbecue sauce for my chicken nuggets. At this point, it's almost comical. They usually get the rest of the order correct, with a handful of exceptions here and there. But every. single. time. they have forgotten the barbecue sauce. Once, they gave me ranch instead, which I guess is better than nothing. Condiments are this places downfall. On my most recently visit (today-- 2/9/24) they not only forgot to give me the barbecue sauce we asked for, but the sour cream they gave us for the potato has a use-by date of 1/24/24. They're such minor annoyances that I don't think it's worth going farther to a different Wendy's, but it's just annoying enough that I finally had to write a review to warn others to make sure you check your condiments before leaving! read more

It's fast food. As is becoming more and more common in all fast food restaurants, you have to check your order before you drive off. Ordered a frosty and did not get a spoon or a straw. Waited 20 minutes before our order was taken when nobody was in front of us. Tables are all messy. Bathrooms were filthy. Workers were rude and barely paid any attention to us as we were ordering. They also gave us a baby straw for our large drink so it doesn't reach the bottom. The straws by the fountain drinks, napkins, condiments were all unstocked. Never coming back. The sign on the door says they open at 9am. I can see workers through the window. I knock, but no one will unlock the door. I ordered the sausage biscuit special and pointed at the sign in the window. I received them with out egg and cheese. I had to point out what was missing. This location has had a totally BOGUS paper sign taped to the drive-thru speaker for well over a month now claiming that they have no sandwich lettuce because of distributor/industry shortages. I can understand if this were due to weather & crop damage or E Coli outbreaks, but this is clearly not the case since *Everywhere* else has iceberg lettuce, including grocery stores. This location is CHOOSING to be cheap and serve sub-par sandwiches by not going themselves to Smart & Final up the street or Restaurant Depot in San Marcos... or just CHOOSING to buy lettuce from their distributor, even if the price has gone up. Worst experience at a Wendy's EVER. The guy at the drive thru at 2:30 on Friday was clueless. I ordered a premium burger. That's $10 right there. Went to their app and free fries for a $10 order. App not loading. Their lousy app. Never loaded. Instead of the guy using his skills he told me either pay for then or remove from the order. I canceled my whole order and drove away. I did NOT mean to give even one star to this place. On Monday April 21, 2019 I found a cockroach in my chicken wrap. The staff was terrible, rude chip on your shoulder attitude & took an excessively extra long time to get my food together This is a drive thru right? Luckily, I always open my food and check it out first. Sure enough right when I unwrapped my wrap I saw something right away and sure enough it was a cockroach. Obviously I threw my whole bag away and had to rush back to work because this was done on my lunch break & I don't have time to tell minimum wage paying detergents that clearly don't care about cleanliness let alone sanitation that hey that food of mine you took forever "cooking" had a cockroach in it. I hope this place gets shut down,I have every intention of making sure QUASA or some form of health code inspectors for the county or city shut this place down. Literally the worst Wendy's i've ever been to. First, the workers suck, they all move slow and talk so low you can't hear them over the he kitchen equipment. We stopped in here on my lunch break for a to go order. My husband and i ordered simple meals, i got a baconator meal and my husband got a salad meal. took them almost 15 minutes to make the food, fine. but what angered me was, they didn't give us all of our items. we only get so much time for lunch so of course we are moving quick. my fault for not checking the bag. i try and eat what food they did give us and it's undercooked. the baconator was pink in the middle and nothing but juices just squirting out of it. i'm 6 months pregnant, not eating that. honestly the whole restaurant is horrible. from the parking design outside to the crap workers. This could be the worst Wendy's ever. I live near this location , been going for years , until last three years they stop putting sauces on their burgers ,just meat and cheese maybe a dot of ketchup and mayo in the middle , I stopped by today thinking they changed ,lol just meat and cheese dry as F ! That's why I drive to Oceanside and vista for this usually tasty burger , management and employees don't care at this location , just collecting pay checks with poor food quality , I will continue driving 25 minutes away instead of 10 because your company has the best burgers read more
