OK so I'm giving a review on a fast food restaurant a little strange. But I have to admit when he comes to a fast food Wendy's pretty much has everyone beat. This restaurant is always clean the staff is unbelievably helpful yes it is true that we are across the street from Wendy's and very easy for us to go and have lunch there at work but the reality is is that the salads are fresh the food is fresh. The drive-through attendant asked for my order, and when I started talking he told me to wait. When I finally gave him my order (spicy chicken club) he asked me to repeat what I said. Then he said he didn't hear me. When I told him what beverage I wanted, he told me it wasn't available at the drive-through. When he confirmed it was available inside, I told him that didn't make any sense; he made it sound as though he were doing me a huge favor by giving me what I asked for. This is the Wendy's I grew up going to. My family would come here often and we loved it. I was home for Thanksgiving and I came here to pick up a quick meal after the airport. The dining portion closes earlier than drive-thru. I got the 4 for $4 meal with a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Nuggets, Soda and Fries. Not bad for what it comes with. The only complaint was that they were stingy with napkins. They literally only give one napkin even when you ask for more. read more

When I get home ..5 miles away...were missing a sandwich... I go back since someone wouldn't be eating if i didn't... they knew they screwed up and said oh well do you want a free french fries... Food: Delicious for a fast food restaurant. Love the chili and baked potato; plus you can eat both of these items for under 500 calories to make a healthy, tasty meal! The spicy chicken nuggets and burgers are good like any other fast food joint. Value: Meal for two under $5?!?? That's right! Quick Story: kids wanted Wendy's so we pull up to the Drive thru. The attitude the person taking our order was not needed. I was trying to explain something to her regarding my order, and she completely interrupted me. it is what it is, but I'm not a 5 year old ordering fast food. i didn't say anything to her when we pulled up to the window as I was done already. no more communication was needed. Tradition had it that after Daddy would pick Mom up from church, they would stop by Wendy's to treat themselves to chili & fries So after Daddy passed away, I recently picked Mom up at church ( she doesn't drive ) and asked if she wanted to stop anywhere on the way home & she said Wendy's We just went through the drivethru but the intercom system was clear, the menu was nicely displayed & the person working the register was friendly as could be & wished us a nice day. You don't always get this from fast food places but this Wendy's seems to excel in their customer service And to further emphasize the point - Mom told me stories about how they would always go inside to order & she found out all these years later that it was because Daddy was so hard of hearing that he couldn't understand the drivethru intercoms but she never put it together until now....... her story included comments about service always being courteous, pleasant, & quick & it was a big part of their always wanting to come back every Sunday I have noticed that not many places have a lot of tolerance for Senior Citizens so it creates a special place in my heart to hear about Wendy's ( & now to also experience it for myself ) Thanks for taking care of my parents for all those years & now Mom & I have a new tradition & I'm so happy Wendy's continues to give her such happy memories read more

AWFUL. The worst Wendy's I have been to. I should have heeded warning that it was dead here at noon that perhaps this location blows and yep it sure did. Maria the cashier was a rude witch taking my order. Had an ugly look her face and was unpleasant. She shouldn't be working with the public with a piss poor attitude. Don't make your own problems other people's problems. Should have figured this girl was going to screw up my order AND she did. The burger was wrong. The second burger was worse. The meat tasted salty and was completely off. The back people putting the food together don't know what they are doing here. Simple burgers with all the wrong ingredients ....ummm hello??? The main reason i come here are for the Frostys. They are delicious, cheap, and come in large portions. 5 piece spicy chicken nuggets are amazing for 99cents. There is quite a lot of seating, and feels less like a fast food joint, and more restaurant styled. private lot is a little small, but there is almost always parking close by. read more

It kind of makes me sad that the first restaurant that pops up when you click on Dublin restaurants is Wendy's (Hopefully that changes). I've gone to this Wendy's drive through before and for the most part never had any problems. Occasionally they would forget a fork for my chili or a salad dressing but I always double check my food before I leave so that is not an issue. However, yesterday 12/31/12 was a different story. My boyfriend and i drove through the drive through and a man greeted me through the speaker. Suddenly a woman takes over without any warning. While taking my order the woman kept randomly laughing and talking in spanish to another employee. I had to repeat each order item multiple times before she got it. I got a salad and my boyfriend got a chicken sandwich and frosty. We get to the window, the woman (still speaking in spanish and laughing with another employee) sticks her hand out the window for the money without even looking at us. A few seconds later, she hands the frosty out the window, still not breaking eye contact with the other employee. She is still laughing with the other employee. She hands over my salad and then completely turns her back to the car. After a minute or two I ask for the sandwich in which she replies "You didnt order a sandwich" in a rude tone. I repeated the chicken sandwich order twice and she had even asked if I wanted the meal or just the sandwich alone. The receipt shows I paid for a salad, frosty and iced tea. I explained that and she demanded I pay an additional $4 for the chicken sandwich because she didn't ring it up. Finally after a bunch of arguing she gave the sandwich on the house, with a smug look on her face so i'm sure there was some spitting involved. I won't be going here again even though Wendy salads are my favorite. read more

Convenient location. Well managed. Friendly staff. Clean. Wendy's seems to be a favorite among older diners. This makes for a quiet and pleasant experience. I must prefer Wendy's over MacDonalds, Burger King and Carl's Junior. I like Habit Burger, MooYah Burger and Five Guys more than Wendy's. I'm usually not one to go to fast-food restaurants, let alone review them. I LOVE the new Premium Fish Fillet. I'm a huge fan of panko flakes so I'm a bit biased. But this is THE best fish fillet I've ever had in ANY restaurant. I also love the chicken nuggets. They actually taste like white meat chicken, instead of who knows what...It's amazing that you get the 10 nuggets meal for $5. To the very small percentage of people to which this is going to be relevant to...If you haven't eaten at Wendy's...JUST GO! Even if you don't usually like fast food...just try it. I decided to try Wendy's out partly because of the decent reviews here, and partly because of the ad mantra "way better than fast food". I asked for the fish sandwich that previous reviewers have posted good comments on. They don't sell it anymore :-(. 2 stars off for that. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. It was, well what can I say, 100% similar to what I consider fast food. The bun seemed pumped up with lots of the notorious dough conditioning stuff that IMO doesn't belong in any bread product to give it a a squishy marshmello like texture. No interesting sauce, just a slop of mayo, on both sides of course. The chicken piece had a deep fried breading that really had a very typical cheap fast food mouthfeel - so another star off for the false advertising claiming they are better than what they are which is FAST FOOD, tried and true. Great customer service from jesus!! I ordered a ten piece nugget and small fries and it was super cheap. Only 2.99 for the nuggets and 1.99 for the fries! Jesus was incredibly friendly. This is your average Wendy's but I give it extra stars because people come here that I have never seen elsewhere in Dublin. Not only that, the customers tend to complain strongly to the staff for no reason other than to take out aggression from external factors. Area is hard place to drive and navigate because it shares the same area as KFC and the drive through layout of both is counter-flowed. Ordered fries with no salt and after a long wait they still gave use salted fries. They weren't even apologetic when we told them the fries were salted. We eat here when we're in a pinch and need something on the go. We like their baked potatoes, chili and grilled chicken wraps. I'm not sure I've ever given a fast food place 5 stars before or will ever do it again, but the people that staff this place are wonderful. Having teenagers myself, I assure you I'm not anti teenager or young employees. However, the workers we find when we go here are often on the more mature side and they are so friendly and accommodating. It's hard to articulate exactly what I mean, but it's little things like asking if we want ketchup or sauce before we even ask. I've never had a bad experience here due to the friendliness of the staff. I'm not going to say we are here weekly, but sometimes when you need something quick, it's nice to have a place like this around with several semi healthy options including things like as simple baked potato. Anyway, great job here with wonderful service. Whoever does the hiring here is making some very wise choices. I don't know if they are paying a little more to buy extra experience, but if they are, it's a good move and no doubt an investment that is paying for itself many times over. read more
