Mar 9 2026 Beware of Wendy's on Teasley in Denton by Sprouts. Ordered outside at 11:40am and the girls voice sounded as if she was bothered. Ordered a double cheeseburger and came home with the thinnest chicken sandwich I've ever seen. And it was spicy hot. My special needs son flipped out! Should've read the reviews. The kids were polite and didn't screw around. It wasn't busy, and they were quick, but maybe that was part of the problem. I asked the guy to repeat the order back and he repeated right, but they still got all the burgers totally wrong. Kinda simple stuff, like no mayo on one, no pickles or tomato or onion on another, no lettuce, etc. I am ok with raising the prices to pay staff more, but if I'm going to pay 15-20% more for a fairly small burger, I would like the food made right. This Wendy's is now open! I've been watching the progress and I was eager to get in and give it a try. They just opened a day or two ago and they had a few employees outside greeting customers and even someone dressed up as Wendy! The staff was extremely friendly and I had a chat with them about watching the building construction and we talked about how things have been going so far. They are all really happy to be open for business. The place was booming with customers but all the orders came out very quickly and I didn't notice any problems despite it being one of the first days so the training must be of good quality. The building itself is nice and in a newer style. The furniture and decor kind of remind me of a Starbucks or Chipotle. There were booths, small tables, and a larger shared high table that would be convenient for people doing a working lunch. The menu is the typical Wendy's menu. Some things I noticed that I didn't realize was that Wendy's offers a baked potato, side salad, chili, and fruit in place of fries with your combo. The drinks are self-serve from a Coke Freestyle machine (the one with the touch screen and all types of flavors) plus some sweet and unsweet tea. This Wendy's is consistently bad and poorly run. We live nearby and I gave up and will literally drive to a Wendy's further away. They always get orders wrong. Like wildly off. On multiple occasions the nuggets were so stale I couldn't let my kids eat them. It's a really bad location. read more

I did my grocery shopping so I dropped my Wendy's drive-through pick up a few hamburgers and drinks I heard it on the mobile app not an issue got to the drive-through thought they were busy girl in the line got out of the line and my meal 40 minutes later And they could not give me the correct drink I had to tell them at the pick up window what the correct drinks were and then they still messed it up. Wendy's at this location is extremely understaffed and the slowest meal preparation flow and management I've seen for a long time. It's either a poorly run corporate store or a franchisee missing in action as an absentee owner which makes any restaurant extremely bad. read more

I am very happy that there is a Wendy's across the street, they are so much better than McDonald's, except they close early, it's ok I'm fine with that, I only have one problem, I have tried everything to fix, the mobile ordering application doesn't work, it worked the first time I got Wendy's, now an error comes up saying the restaurant may have trouble with the mobile order application, I have went to the location several times, to let them know it's not working, but all I get is, you don't know how to work the mobile application, I know how to work it, there is step by step instructions , I'm not blonde or stupid, when a box comes up on screen saying error then, I don't see how that is me not knowing how to work an application, I will post a picture, maybe someone at Wendy's can fix the problem. 10:15 on a Saturday night I could see two people a girl and a guy by the front counter when I drive up to the drive though. I wait at the board witch is lit up. Never coming here again. Went last night around 7pm ordered a Dave's double with no cheese light onions and lettuce no pickles no tomatoes and guess what. They put everything I didn't ask for on it. So I went inside and asked for my burger to be made the right way. I'm standing at the front watching the lady make my burger. She gave the wrong sandwich to me which was a single I gave it back. Then she gave me a completely different double with mayonnaise on it. THEN she gave her coworker a an attitude saying it was the right one which obviously it wasn't. The drive thru lady had to tell her word for word what I wanted. STILL she messed up my burger didn't even had lettuce or onions on it I it was just a plain double with ketchup and mustard. At this point I didn't care just took it and left. I guess they didn't know I was a Wendy's manager 5 years ago. I will be calling the manager of this Wendy's and telling them my horrible experience.
