Horrible! Went through the drive through for spicy nuggets...paid popped one in my mouth and its stone cold! I park... get out... walk in and politely ask for a fresh batch ....the lead takes my bag to the back for three minutes and brings them back and sits them on the counter. I grab... say thank you touch them and still cold! Like come on! I asked a passing cashier to touch the clearly old chicken and she says I will make you a fresh batch. After running errands at different stores all throughout the shopping center we decided to stop here for a quick bite. The drive-through line was terrible and was very slow. So instead, we ran inside to place our order. I'm glad we did because we definitely got in and out of there before the car that we had initially been behind in the drive-through line. In fact, they hadn't even placed their order yet and we were leaving with ours in hand. The staff were really friendly although you could tell they were extremely busy. They were trying to be as polite as possible and making sure to remain Covid compliant at all times. Although a bit flustered and rushed, I'll order was completed quickly and more importantly, accurately. We enjoyed our snacks in the comfort of our car as we were parked in their parking lot. Their new BREAK FAST options are very tasty (I've had about 1/3 of the items) and their breakfast potatoes are excellent, especially when they're piping hot! They all highly live up to the "Break Fast" marketing; from order to pay and on your way is around 3-minutes. The new cone barriers in the parking lot to divide their and Panda Express' lines is a pain, but once you realize you've only got one entrance, you'll know where to go. Wendy's one of these place I go off and on since fast-food isn't something we do often. But when a crave hits you, I prefer this location since it as a small area outside where you can eat. Nowadays, I prefer it for their drive-thru since the pandemic, if I "eat out", it's gonna be grab and go home kinda deal. It can get crowded at times, tad longer lines, but I didn't have major issues. Menu wise, we keep it simple. Dave's Single is fine by me in terms of cheeseburgers, we go for value items like Jr. Cheeseburgers or hamburgers since they are smaller and we prefer smaller portions. It's fun to mix and match. No combos for me since I don't do fountain drinks. The Homestyle chicken sandwich is a decent option as well. Regular fries are fine, but sometimes I'm in the mood for their baked potatoes since not many fast-foods have that in their menu. Sour cream and chives is enticing, sans the calories, but oh well, that's what exercise is for, right? Their salads are OK, but if you go all the way to satisfy a craving, then...Decent place for a take-out nowadays and add some fun to your day! read more

This quote applies 100% to this Wendy's location - in the past 12 months where it's been drive-thru only, I have yet to get 1 correct order. Worst experience ever! Back in beginning of the year I purchased a key tag at this location to support a nonprofit and with that tag it entitled me to a Jr Frosty at every visit during 2018. So after my Walmart visit, I decided I was hoping to grab a quick bite at this Wendy's and take advantage of my tiny perk. First problem was the menu at the drive-in is past the order speaker. And the VALUE menu is on the last panel and was difficult to read. I just wanted the value chicken sandwich. I thought it said spicy crispy chicken (didn't really want spicy, but that's what I thought I read). They had a deal for a small Frosty for .50 so I ordered a small vanilla and a Jr chocolate (which should be free with key tag). When I got to the window I showed her my key tag and said the Jr Frosty is free. The cashier said $7 something. I'm like, why is it so much? She said the chicken sandwich was $5 something. I said ours the one on the value meal. She said I ordered the wrong one. Ok well sorry, I would like the value one. I told her I could barely see the last panel of the menu. So she gave me a new total and I just paid, grabbed my frosty's and sandwich and drove off. Well halfway home I realized they have me the wrong flavor shake and there were no napkins in the bag. When I got home I looked at the receipt and saw the cashier charged me for the free jr frosty .79! And gave me the wrong flavor. And to add to insult, the small I paid .50 for was bigger than the jr one that I paid .79 for! I called the number I the receipt to give my experience and made a formal complaint to their headquarters and the lady, Bea, was slow and made the complaint process even a bad experience! I went for combo deal but swapped fries for salad. I was impressed with this burger. It was actually simple and tasty. And it filled me up. I couldn't handle eating the salad. I probably should have eaten it first. I enjoyed eating this square burger. Weird as it looked. But it dropped all my previous Wendy's burger reviews a star, because this double-stack burger is IT. I visited the Burbank location today and my meal was awful. I ordered the 10 piece spicy nuggets. The nuggets wasn't freshly made, so I spoke with the manager (Uber) and asked could my nuggets be drop fresh. I love Wendy's and they are my first choice for fast-food hamburgers. I eat there once a week minimum. The Burbank Empire Center location has mastered the drive-thru ordering process. AKA an Arnold Palmer. I usually do not say "Arnold Palmer" because many places still do not know what that means. Half-iced tea, half/lemonade. That's the fresh brewed iced tea in the round silver canister and lemonade. Half of each. Some locations use fresh lemonade, some use the Minute Maid from the fountain. Today, September 14, at 1:30 pm approx. ( I paid $12.21 cash- no receipt was given. I ordered my usual. I pulled over in the Target lot and parked. I was very hungry. I cannot describe the feeling of expectation vs reality when the flavor of something sticky sweet hit my taste buds. I think i got fountain raspberry "tea" with a very weak or none at all lemon. Very disappointing. In the past seven weeks, Ive received all minute maid, all fountain tea or all brewed tea. And I do not have time to go back thru the line or call and "alert" you of this error. Did a mobile order of burger (for son), regular nuggets (for daughter) and saucy nuggets (for me). Got all the way home and discovered they didn't include the regular nuggets in our order. I am inclined to write and review this Wendy's because one my friend is a manager here so gotta support! and another one is too many of these reviews are just awful. The 5 stars are for how much fast food workers deal with the cruelty and entitlement they deal with day in and out. I don't understand why people have these super high expectations of fast food, if your exquisite palate requires such amazing quality food , cook at home or go to a gourmet restaurant. I do like Wendy's food , I love their chicken nuggets specially, but i am not expecting a gourmet meal just fast and easy on long days with no time to cook. I've been here a few times and every time this place is packed. Wait time from order to getting food takes longer since there's always a huge line inside and the drive thru is wrapped around the building. Today inside was a mess, note to self don't come in on the weekend at lunch time. Walking around trying to find a seat, let alone a clean table was impossible. Ended up at the bar like counter in the back by the trash can, out of all places. Food was hot, but didn't have anything with order we we had to keep walking up asking for what they forgot. We also order via the big tablet when you walked in and I feel like every time we order off that thing, are order gets pushed to the bottom. People in line that ordered with the cashier, after us, got their food before us. They need a better system when ordering and they need someone on the floor cleaning tables, and taking out the trash. Ordered a Classic Asiago Chicken Combo and a Dave's Double Combo. I got the order within a couple of minutes and drove Home, (4 Blocks away) The Fries on Both Combos were Old, Brown and Cold. The Meat Patties were Old, Cold and Greasy, tasted Horrible and must have been precooked and sitting for a while. The Lettuce was Brown and wilted and the Tomato was warm. The Manager who packed my To Go Order didn't even give me the 2 cups for BOTH of the Combo's There was NO Ice in either of the 2 Drink dispensers The ONLY Good things were that I got my food quickly, (RED FLAG: They must have been Floaters and had been sitting for a while). However, one day I decided to come around 10:15 AM and they served me lunch (which they shouldn't of because lunch is served at 10:30) so my food was absolutely disgusting. It was dry, it did not taste fresh at all, almost like it had been sitting? Corporate office is horrible, trying to contact the GM of this location was a waste of time. Don't say "Quality is our ingredient" if you can't deliver. They tried giving me a $5 voucher for the inconvenience... I had to beg for my money back, so very ridiculous.
