This Wendy's pretty much ruined me every going to a Wendy's again. I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but I was traveling and wasn't familiar with Ashland. Wendy's was right off the freeway, so I stopped. I ordered the chicken club. It wasn't a club. It was a chicken breast, a tomato, a wilted piece of lettuce and some sort of mustard sauce. Yeah, writing a real review for a Wendy's. This, honestly, is not a bad Wendy's. I have been here many times (sort of embarrassed to admit it haha) and they have never screwed up my order, and the kids who work there are always really pleasant! Today when I went in I was warmly greeted by a guy who was probably 19 or 20. Really nice. And while I was eating, there was a guy (probably a manager, didn't notice who it was) but he was going around asking people how their burgers/sandwiches/etc. were. He has probably had previous restaurant/server experience. But yeah. There is also a girl that works here (she has an unusual name... but I cannot remember it) and she always has pleasant conversations with us when we come here. Also, the place itself is always pretty clean. And they have one of those fancy soda machines where it has every flavor of Coke, Fanta, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, etc. It's awesome. The one thing that might upset the oh so common rich white folk around here is the few homeless people that hang out here. They always keep to themselves, though. But that could also be they know me because I see them at my work all the time and they know me. I'll definitely continue to come here (mostly because it's the only fast food place in Ashland, besides Taco Bell. which sucks) because my previous experiences have been so positive. Asked for a baked potato with shredded cheese & NO cheese sauce, but got the cheese sauce - it is gross! No time to wait for a redo. Ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget & got a 4 piece. Wendy's will be off our rotation, even while traveling & in a hurry. read more

Place was dirty, and they charged our card twice. We didn't know this until we were home. We've been trying to call, but there is a voice mess. saying the box is full. I'd say they get your order right about 3/5 times...which is pretty lame for any "restaurant." I feel like they frequently mess up at least one thing about your order, especially in the drive-through. In addition, the people who work there (not the cashiers as much as the managers) are horrendous. I worked there last year and was treated like DIRT. This is the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. The outside looks sketchy. My family and I were traveling home from CA when we stopped in on Saturday for lunch and a bathroom break. The lady's restroom was filthy, one of the two stalls was plugged up and the other one had no tp. There were two sinks and one had no water. When we ordered our food we had to repeat everything twice the girl at the counter seemed easily confused. If I could, I'd give 1/2 star. I don't normally do this kind of thing, but we were treated so rudely that it's worth mentioning. Here's a copy of my letter I wrote to Wendy's about my service yesterday: Yesterday I went through the drive thru & ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal, size medium, 2 kids meals with frostys, a small fries & a large vanilla caramel frosty. After we pulled out of the drive thru, we realized our medium fries were missing. So we went back through & at first the girl was nice & said it was her fault she rang the order up wrong. But then she said "That'll be $2.09" I was confused, since I'd already paid...but she said she didn't charge us for the med fries....somehow she rang up our order with the meal including a small fries & only "upgraded your drink". We had no way to prove anything, WE WERE NOT GIVEN A RECEIPT. So I paid for the fries & left. We got down the road a little ways & my sister noticed that we were given a small caramel frosty, not the large we ordered. So back we went. This time, the girl at the first window said "Just go to the front window" and offered no apology, no explanation. We just expected them to swap the drink for the right size. But at the next window I was told "You got the right size". I've never ordered this drink before, so I double checked that I was indeed given a small, but was told "that's what you ordered." (My sister was in the car with me and she heard me order a large) Then he left to get the manager. I told the manager, I really don't mind having the small if that's what I paid for; was there some way to look up my receipt since I wasn't given one? The manager was extremely short with me & told me their machines were too old and they don't have the capability of giving people receipts. Then she said in an extremely snotty voice, "So if I just give you a large frosty, will that make you happpy?? Is that what it's going to take to make you HAPPY??" Honestly, I was polite the whole time even though it was a huge pain in the butt. By the time I was actually able to eat my food after all this happened, it was cold. All I wanted was the food we ordered & paid for. I could not BELIEVE they weren't able to give receipts...that almost seems like shady business. But for the manager to come out & treat me the way she did - unacceptable. Never once did she apologize for the mistake. It was like she came to the window already mad at me. I'm very sorry, because as far as fast food goes, Wendy's usually better than the rest with fresher tasting food. But I will never, ever, go back to this particular restaurant. read more

Wendies is usally fairly consistent. Until now. To begin with, this woman complained about the bathroom not having any toilet paper. A male employ, with complete disregard for my appetite, then told a manager out loud "that was me, I stole the toilet paper." from. the. womens. bathroom. Could have walked out right then and there!!! Then my friend tried to order a drink, a pineapple blueberry fruitea chiller, and they were out of blueberry. She tries to order anoyher, out of that too. Once we ordered we looked them dead in the eye and asked for it to go. We did not get it to go. He said he was sorry but he didn't seem sorry. While on our way home from the hospital after spending two days with a friend who had surgery, we drove through Wendy's in Ashland, and I ordered a baked potato with chives. We were given the sack and continued on our way. I opened the potato box and much to my horror, there sat a very old potato, the potato was brown, the chives were dead, and the skin was so old that it had pulled away from the potato insides. Was not safe to eat. We were exhausted from our trip and it was just to far to take it back. I have taken pictures of it. I had another potato from the Klamath Falls Wendy's awhile back when going thru the drive through, and it was old also, but not as bad as this other one. I can't believe that Wendy's are so hard up that pushing old, old potato's thru the drive through is the thing to do. I have been a great Wendy's fan for years but now I just don't trust them anymore. It is so sad. read more
