I just had bad experience. I'm not going back to this place. First off I asked for a foot massage only and she ended up giving me a combo. Also, she only did 50 minutes instead of an hour. The quality of the massage was subpar as well. She worked on one side, but not the other on parts of my upper body. For the price, this spa is somewhat reasonable. Unfortunately I have to take away a star for the lack of updating of information online as my friend and I were under the impression the massage was 25 dollars when in fact it was actually 50 (we didn't know this until we walked inside). I had received an hour foot massage and although the masseuse's technique was amazing, she spent more time massaging my legs rather than my feet. My friend received a full body+reflexology hour massage and he enjoyed it although he felt it was too aggressive at times. Do not recommend. Called ahead for appointment and that was fine. I walk in and the man just points to a sign of three options. I try to ask about what type of massage the whole body was, but he didn't speak English. I went with that option anyways as my calves and low back needed some attention. He spent 75% of the time bruising my neck and shoulders. I can hardly hold my head up walking out of the office. Yes he did some full back, but did not even touch my feet which I found off for somewhere claiming to specialize in foot massage. I may have misunderstood him, but I believe as one point he said "kiss me". I abruptly said "what?!" And his response sounded like "tongue in...kiss?" I said No! And he continued. If anyone has any idea what else this could have meant please enlighten me He also walked out 5 or so times to see the front desk or get something. Unprofessional. Then I go to pay for what was advertised as $40. I hand him my card and he asks "how much" I say $45 thinking that was plenty tip for the terrible experience. He looks at me confused and calls over the woman. She says oh no. Ten at least. I don't have the energy to argue so say okay. That's a big tip for this experience. Tom and Amy are both wonderful at a deep massage. Amy however is slightly better. The best rate is $25 an hour However decided to go with the $45 for FULL 90 minutes cuz I needed more work on my back. Ambiance is nice. Music is traditional Asian. Towels are exfoliating to put it in a nice way. Cons: minimal English. didn't answer the phone twice but was available upon walk in. Pro: $ Definitely will be back again when I'm in the area. Wellspring has been one of my go-to reflexology places. I can usually call in and get an appointment with my masseuse of choice and they are open late (last appointment at 9pm). It's a bit more expensive for an hour foot massage ($25) than some of the other $20 places in town, but when you find someone who gives a great massage, it's worth it. I see that other reviewers have been unhappy about the tip policy. I don't consider myself a big spender, but I'll normally tip more than 20% ($10 on a $25 massage) because it's a very hands-on/ involved service. These folks are busting their booties and massaging me for an hour. I get balking at a tip if you're unhappy with the service, but if it was a good massage you can't be bothered to tip someone at least $5 (20%) for a massage, then perhaps you should just pick up a Homedic massager and stay home? read more

Visited for the first time yesterday with my husband... he goes here often and since we've been packing for moving, we thought this would be a good way to relax.... Very disappointing!! I called at 6:15 and asked if there would be two people available at 6:45. The woman on the phone said YEA and that she would save two people for us and see us in 30 minutes. We arrived at 6:45 and then had to wait 30 minutes more to get started. My husband usually sees Amy and he loves her work... unfortunately, Amy wasn't there yesterday!! My husband had a gentleman who he feels really didn't know what he was doing but he was strong and applied a lot of pressure so he was happy... I got the woman that had answered the phone. She presses really hard and I asked her a few times to go softer and I just don't think she understood me. Most the time she didn't use lotion and it felt like my skin was being ripped off. She got up constantly to do something but at least 10 times she got up to do something else. Her cell phone even rung...loudly... she then answered and spoke to the person right by head for at least a minute. All and all it was alright but the kicker was when I tipped her and she gave me a dirty look, shook her head, and didn't look at me again. I tipped her 20% and after such a shitty service, she's lucky she got anything. I almost took it back. Geez!!! With places like this all over with much better customer service, I will not be returning nor will my man and we live two blocks away. Disappointed!! read more

I left work and arrived 10 min prior to my appointment. Lady said sorry our next available opening is at 8:00 PM. I told them I called ahead of time and she said the Receptionist double booked by accident. So I walked out and left. One of the worst experiences I have had in a while. WOW. I just finished my hour reflexology massage and feel incredible. I had heard great things about wellspring as a low cost massage option, but honestly my massage blew my normal full body massage out of the water. A few heads ups: - it's not all foot massage (half is foot; the other half is legs, hands, head, neck, shoulders, back). I was pleasantly surprised by this! - come wearing loose clothes that you can take off easily and don't mind getting a little oily. I wore the wrong clothes, so it was hard to do some parts of the massage - get ready to get man handled in the best kind of way. If you don't like hard massages, I'd think twice! I give these people 1 star to be nice as the foot massage is decent. However, texting on the phone while giving a massage is not polite nor professional. Upon completion we paid by card and gave the tip separately. We said thank you and handed the money over. Unfortunately the man and woman massagers wrinkled their noses and looked at us as if to say "that's all you got". Then they proceeded to waggle their heads side to side showing not only their disappointment but DISRESPECT for receiving what they felt was not enough $ !!!!!!! (20% tip was given). As someone who studied TCM I don't expect too much for $25 but when I got a massage from a Male therapist that treated me rough and left me bruised a 20% tip(with no sign indicating policy)this did not put me in a happy place. I had gone here routinely for an affordable option to get some knots out. It was as what should be expected for a $25 hour at this sort of place. I walked in and was pointed towards a sign stating the NEW PRICES. They are now charging $40 for the one hour massage. Nothing has changed, just a huge price increase. I have gone here for years and they know my name and phone number when I call and they didn't have the courtesy to notify me of the enormous price increase in advance. Then to top it off, I have a stamp card that awards you with a free massage after you purchase 10 massages. I came here a coupe of times since it's walking distance from home. Overall it's okay... the foot reflexology was decent enough but they get pissy when you only leave a 20% tip. In fact this past visit, which was a couple of days ago, when the woman brought me my change she gave herself a 50% tip. I had to argue with her that she didn't give me the right change then after giving me the right change she said "I massage hard"--clearly showing she knew what she was doing and that she was trying to justify the 50% tip. Honestly you get what you pay for and unless you need a quick fix and do the cheap $25 foot reflexology option, you're better off spending your money elsewhere. Oh and the reviewer that said there is no better option for the money other then going to Bangkok, I'm not quite sure what they're talking about because this is not a Thai massage place--it's traditional Chinese foot reflexology and message, not Thai. I've been here at least 20 times. After today, never again. The massage ranges from good to meh, but the price is cheap, so I can ovelook a lot. Not today. I walked in with a friend and after a ten minute wait we were led to the massage room. After another ten minute wait my warm water foot bath arrived and I relaxed with my feet in warm water. Ten minutes later a couple arrived late to their appointment and my friend and I were told we had to leave and come back 1-1/2 hours later so the late people with the appointment could get their massage. I thought they were kidding. Another person with no appointment who came in after me and my friend was allowed to stay. This was just terrible mismanagement. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. This is THE WORST experience ever! The lady that gave me the massage did not speak one word of English. I was not able to communicate at all. The massage tables are uncomfortable. I was cold the whole time. They covered me with a very short thin sheet and she kept moving around these little blankets from one part of my body to the next . The towels were old and small. She repeated the same moves over and over. After about spending 35 min on my back alone I had to signal to her to move to my legs and feet. Just tacky, uncomfortable and very unprofessional. It pains me when I read some of the more negative reviews of this place. I have had a LOT of reflexology massages as I travel quite frequently for work but this is always my favorite! No - there aren't private rooms (which is pretty common of most REFLEXOLOGY massage places anyway). No - most of the people working there don't speak English. BUT THEY ARE WONDERFUL!
