Initially started out with just a wax with Alex but gradually worked up the courage to try a lami. I was super nervous about looking crazy but Alex was so patient and explained the whole process as she was applying. We started out with a really gentle formula for the first session but worked up to a stronger solution for the next sessions. I was so excited when they started offering lash lifts last year that I HAD to try it. My brows and lashes have NEVER looked so amazing! Alex has been able to transform my brow shape with such artistry. I always recommend Two of a Kind to any of my friends in the LA area. Booking is super easy- either online or through text. Lami would last a solid 6-7 weeks before I'd need to start using brow gel more regularly and I would stretch appointments by 9 weeks. Was getting lash lifts at the same time for convenience but could've definitely stretched things longer. Have not noticed any damage. I use Sarah Maxwells layer serum nightly and Latisse every 2-3 days for maintenance. I am SO SAD to be moving out of state because I will need to find another artist. Alex is truly a gem.

Once I filled out my form and handed back the ipad, I waited a total of 5 min before I was greeted by another staff member who took me take photos of my face before putting in a glass surround corner exam room, mind you on the 9th floor on Wilshire in Brentwood right before Santa Monica. The views were excellent the room was well decorated, organized, with breathtaking views and nothing like a hospital exam room. I was then introduced to Nikki H. my injector, who seemed very courteous and welcoming. She asked me specific questions regarding what were goals with tox and then asked if i'd make certain expressions with my face so she can make her analysis. Immediately after she had the NP Lovely come in and review the treatment we agreed on. Once she came, set up her kit, then proceeded to stick me while I was talking to the NP. Funny thing I didn't feel a thing and it was seemless. Once treatment was completed Nikki walked me to the reception to schedule a follow-up and was incredibly kind. This isn't my first rodeo so to have an injector handle the procedure so delicately for me not to notice while I was in mid discussion, was excellent. I developed an extremely painful, very swollen, pus-filled dental abscess late last month, and called Fuller Smiles to see if they could have me come in that day to have it get evaluated or drained. I was told by the receptionist that no one could see me same day, and since it was a Friday I could check back on Monday. The abscess was swollen and painful and if left untreated can cause more infection, loss of the tooth, and sepsis, and I pointedly asked the receptionist so I can't be seen even if it's an abscess and a dental emergency? To which the receptionist replied no and asked me to check back three days later when they're open again on Monday. Of course, I found a different facility and got it drained that day and was confirmed by the other dentist of the abscess. I then went back to this Fuller Smiles a few days later to get it evaluated by Dr. Katie, my usual dentist, and she did a CT scan for me and referred me to an endodontist. I called the receptionist at Fuller Smiles today and asked if the results of my CT scan could be sent to the endodontist or to myself to show the endodontist so they could get a complete picture of what's going on. The receptionist then tried to tell me I didn't get a CT scan done, when I know I did because I was literally in the machine getting it done a few weeks ago. I then told her the date of the test and she found the record but then told me she couldn't send it over to me because of software issues, even though it is my legal right to get a copy of my imaging tests. I asked her how the endodontist would be able to evaluate me then without having my test results and she basically told me to get another repeat CT scan done there, without any regard to any unnecessary radiation exposure that would mean or if insurance would cover it. Overall I thought the dentists here were great, but Jackie at the front desk was very unsympathetic and unhelpful, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with her anymore.

The spa is private; the only people in the entire space are you + the amazing esthetician, Heather. The lobby space is beautiful, green, and inviting. They only use Organic to Green brand products which have very clean ingredients (a huge plus for sensitive skin)! Upon arrival, Heather explained the treatments and we started with body dry brushing + coco oil body treatment. Then, she gave me a scalp scrub + hair mask. This process was probably around 20-25 minutes. Then, I was given one hour total to enjoy the private lounge, infrared sauna (set to 133 degrees F) and steam shower. I spent 25 minutes in the sauna before taking a cold shower using their products, including a lovely body scrub. I also ate a few complementary snacks (mini KIND bars and fruit bars). After that, we concluded with their Signature Facial (~60 minutes) that included steam, aromatherapy, extractions, microdermabrasion, face mask, and much more. All throughout, Heather was very kind and answered all my skincare questions. Would absolutely recommend. I look forward to coming back! Not to mention, the price is really good if you buy the Groupon for the Bungalow Experience. For a total of $160 (Groupon was about $85 with the summer promotion, plus a $75 tip based on the full treatment price), I had 2.5 hours of pure relaxation.
