They're located at the north end of Abbott Kinney so make sure you allow plenty of time for parking. I LOVE going to Spa Sophia anytime I'm in California. I travel full time and between all of the different climates I'm constantly putting my skin through and all of the dehydrating airplane rides, Spa Sophia is like the light at the end of the tunnel. I've received treatments from multiple estheticians and bodyworkers and they've all been top tier and you'll feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. They're not a 'one-size-fits-all' kind of spot. They really customize treatments based on where *YOUR* skin is at. I also LOVE that they aren't forced to use just one product line - they mix it up for your skin type and needs. I recently had an Advanced Facial with Ariana and she was gentle, friendly, and clearly knowledgable about all of my skin concerns. We had a super easy-going chat about traveling and sound baths and I received an incredible tension-releasing neck, jaw and shoulder massage while a beautiful hydrating mask was working its magic (after a thorough inspection of my skin, cleansing, and gentle extractions, of course!). I felt so refreshed and taken care of after my treatment. Ariana walked me through the products she selected for my facial and why. It showed me that she is a wealth of knowledge on the products they carry (I think one was called Omedics from Australia and the entire line seems incredible). It was so nice to be able to get recommendations and understand what I could do outside of treatments to keep my skin healthy and balanced. I came here several months ago on a whim as my office is on Abbot Kinney. I didn't have crazy expectations because it was a last minute massage booking. That said, it was wonderful! The spa is in a cute hidden nook up a flight of stairs. Very calm vibes. The gals who work there are so friendly and even the other customers waiting for their appointment were lovely. Cold plasma channeling! I went to spa Sophia for a series of 3. I found It's non invasive with no down time but with the results you might get from a chemical peel or more aggressive treatment. Great thing - the first treatment I got a little pink, which subsided very quickly. The second treatment I actually had people notice my skin and comment on how tight and smaller my face looked!! (What! I know what one person meant was that it looked more sculpted) I started to notice less jowls and more jaw Line appearing! Yes! That's been my concern area as it's hereditary to have "joweling" start to appear in the women in my family over 40. 3rd treatment felt tighter and kept feeling tight for several days. Now I get to sit back and let the effects keep producing over the next 6 to 8 weeks, as the cells turn over and products penetrate more deeply. On that note: I bought an amazing vitamin B serum at the spa and am using it daily, since treatment one. My skin feels smoother and people are noticing. This is not painful like micro needles would be, but is stimulating firmer and more elastic skin on my face and neck. A MUST DO! Thank you Sophia. I'm not really a facial person, but my friend told me about Spa Sophia and how amazing Sophia's facials are, so I went. It was everything she said it would be and more. I have rosacea and eczema and very sensitive skin, so I need help with that because the products that I am using are not making things worse, but not really doing anything to help either. I got the Advanced Facial, it was absolutely amazing. Sophia listened to my skin concerns and started me on a Repair Serum until I see her in a month. She does a lot of research on products and is very knowledgable. The environment is lovely, Sophia is lovely. I've never had my face massaged before and this was incredible.
