At my first visit, they were about to apply numbing cream without cleansing my face, even though I was wearing sunscreen and light makeup. When I pointed this out--mentioning that my dermatologist always requires a clean face before any treatment--they just said, "Oh, okay." I ended up cleansing my face myself, but that moment already raised concerns about their standards. I had purchased a discounted Christmas package for 3 treatments. After the final session, my face broke out severely with patches of pus and a white rash. When I reached out, Mona brushed it off, saying, "It will all heal up, and collagen is still building underneath." Unfortunately, that wasn't true. The damage remained. Now, at 45, I'm left with visible scars that could have been avoided with proper care and professionalism. They permanently destroyed my face with by using hyaluronidase to dissolve filler that they're inexperienced partition injected into the wrong part of my face. Please never ever ever let them inject hyaluronidase into you. To make matters worse, they quite illegally refused to send me my entire file which showed the date of the injection and the pictures before and after. Post-op was minimum discomfort - I was back working (on the computer) within a few days. Incisions healed beautifully - barely noticeable. AND THE RESULTS - UNBELIEVABLE in the most natural way possible. The Girls (my new breasts) feel and look like they are MINE. There are not enough amazing things that I could say about my experience with Dr. Macias and his team and Aesthetic MdR! From the first day I called to inquire about a procedure, I was given the best customer service. Kimberly and Brenda answered my many many questions with so much patience and kindness. I had been considering a few plastic surgeons closer to home in Northern California for the procedures that I was considering but I was not impressed with the before and after photos. Dr. Macias' attention to detail and professionalism made it pretty easy for me to make my decision to go with him as my surgeon. Once I had booked, things became even easier for me. Leading up to the week of my surgery, I was given plenty of information and help with preparing myself accordingly. The day before, the day and the day after surgery could not have gone more smoothly. I had so much support from the entire medical team and despite being so nervous, of course, since it was my first surgery and first time going under anesthesia, I was put at ease because of how professional and patient everyone was with my questions. Recovery from surgery is never easy but I was grateful that Dr. Macias requires his patients to go to the Prestige After Care facility because I don't know how I could have managed that first night without their help. My follow up appointments have all been able to be virtual, because I do not live in the area and flying down would be difficult to manage with my schedule, but Dr. Macias has been more than accommodating with that as well. And on top of it all, I could not be more happy with the results of my procedures. I am so happy with the results and they seem to improve every day. I was only really in pain for about 2 weeks post-op and since then, life has pretty much gone back to normal and that, I believe, is because I went with a highly qualified and experienced plastic surgeon. I went into Aesthetic MDR two weeks ago (my first time inquiring into any skin/facial/filler/etc. services) with little to no expectations but left having such an amazing and personal experience.
