There was barely a couple minutes wait till I was called in. Nurse Anna was my aesthetician. I explained I was concerned about the discomfort but even more so that I was gonna leave there looking like one of the "Real Housewives" with balloon lips. I was ADAMENT that I DID NOT want that. She LISTENED and was conservative in her approach. She and Andy (who works in the office) were so kind and made me as comfortable as possible and encouraged me throughout the entire procedure. They played music I enjoyed, which helped distract me, cuz I could hum along to it. Andy also gently tapped on my knee to help distract me as well. And it didn't really hurt THAT bad! It's not something I'd want to experience weekly lol, but definitely tolerable two or three times a year in exchange for the beautiful results Anna provided. Besides, Mom always said, "Beauty is pain, Darci. Beauty is pain." I actually got a little verklempt, cuz Anna gave me back my 17-year-old lips! They were still MY lips, just brought to life again.
