I came here with my bf 2-3 times and realized these massages don't do anything. We always get deep…read moretissue as we lift weights at the gym and are always super sore but we got no relief from the deep tissue massages here. They use firm pressure but if you know massages you know firm pressure doesn't necessarily mean deep tissue. The therapists only follow a memorized routine. They don't really target muscles or feel for knots. The massages here are pretty useless for healing. Update: The owner decided to respond to my post and called me a liar because he couldn't find all the records of our visits. My bf has went 3 times and I went 2 times. The first massage my bf had by himself was great so he brought me later. The owner messaged me and told me the first person my bf got, only worked there for a brief time. Well that sucks because whoever that person was got my bf to go back but not anyone else! We had an okay massage the second time and the last time was the worst so we stopped going! No body is going to tell you your masseuses are JUST OKAY, they would just stop going back. Also to the comment about the generous tip, we always tip our masseuses regardless of whether we liked the massage or not. I know people from these cheaper Asian massage places don't make a lot and they work for very little or FREE. Our tips are their wages! Don't use the fact we tip generously against us. Again, if we don't like the massage, we try someone else then just do not go back after. I do not consider an establishment where if you just do a walk in, you can get paired up with a mediocre therapist, a 5 star establishment. The only place where my bf and I go consistently for good Thai massages are the Sparadise chains, La Brea and our favorite location is Sherman Oaks. They cost about the same and the majority of the therapists there are good, some are excellent. The only downside is they are super far away from the West side!

The therapist was incredibly intuitive -- the combination of stretching and pressure released tension I didn't even realize I was carrying. I left feeling lighter, aligned, and completely renewed. Having a business myself, I can recognize when an owner truly pours their heart into what they do -- and you can absolutely feel that here. The care, professionalism, and overall experience were exceptional. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

I felt awkward but told her again to use bit more pressure during my relaxing massage. At the end of the appointment the front desk gave me a loyalty card with a stamp and asked me to pay which I did an it was $100. After I paid the receptionist looked at my receipt and said "Oh, you didn't add tip? Why?" Like excuse me I am already paying for the job done and asking for tip just to make the customer feel bad because they didn't add tip is just rude. It is my own personal decision whether to tip or not. I answered her that I do not have enough cash since I want to tip in cash I can go to the bank and get it and come back. She smiled and said "oh ok, give me the loyalty card back and take it when you bring the tip money" this is outrageous. Don't force people for such things. Didn't go back and neither will go here for massage.

Very easy to make an appointment, as you can see all the times available and even which masseuse is available. They were ready for me as soon as I walked in. I booked the aromatherapy/oil for an hour and a half, and it was excellent. Teena (I believe that was her name) did a great job. I never knew having someone step on your back and twist you up like a pretzel can be so rejuvenating! My back and neck definitely cracked a few times, so this was sorely needed! Will def come back next time I'm stressed out and need the kinks ironed out!

Five stars and then five more if I could…read more From the second I walked in, the vibe was calm, clean, and instantly relaxing like my stress knew it wasn't allowed past the front desk. The staff was welcoming without being over-the-top, which I appreciated. The massage itself? Incredible. Perfect pressure, super attentive to the spots I mentioned, and somehow found knots I didn't even know had names. I walked in feeling like a tangled phone charger and left feeling like a brand-new human. Already planning my next appointment because apparently this is my new form of therapy. Highly recommend if you enjoy functioning without shoulder tension.

I have been a licensed massage therapist for 30 years and have worked in a wide variety of…read moreprofessional massage settings. In three decades in this profession, I have never encountered anything quite like this. I had frequented this business repeatedly and had seen this particular therapist many times. I appreciated her work enough that I returned and booked a two-hour massage with her. I was subsequently informed that my appointment had been canceled because I did not "tip enough." Let that sink in. A gratuity is, by definition, voluntary. It is not part of the agreed-upon price of a service, nor should continued access to a therapist be contingent upon meeting some undisclosed expectation for additional compensation. If a business or therapist requires a particular amount above the advertised rate, then that amount should be reflected transparently in the price of the service--not enforced after the fact through cancellation of a returning client. Whether this reflects a management problem in which therapists are not being adequately compensated, or simply the expectations of an individual therapist, I cannot say. What I can say is that management apparently allowed a longtime returning client to be refused service because of an allegedly insufficient gratuity. As someone who has spent 30 years in this profession, I find that deeply unprofessional and contrary to the spirit of what gratuity is supposed to mean. For the record, I tipped 20% on my previous two-hour massage. But the amount is ultimately beside the point. I have treated countless people over the course of my career, some of whom tipped generously, some modestly, and some not at all. I have never "fired" a client because I decided their gratuity wasn't sufficient. Massage therapy is a professional service. Charge what your work is worth. Pay your therapists what their work is worth. But don't advertise one price and then quietly impose an unwritten financial test on clients afterward. After being a frequent customer of this business, I will not return.

She's professional and communicative and constantly improving. My partner has never had massages before and feels transformed by Ellie's work. He asks her tons of questions and Ellie answers knowledgeably and generously. She notes where we have both made improvement from stretching and working out between massages or where we've clearly been holding tension and/or been hurt and adjusts accordingly. I broke a finger about fifteen minutes before one massage. Ellie rearranged her setup to be sure my hand was safe and not dangling. She worked around the injury and then spent significant time teaching me what I should do to help the muscles since the doctors would be focusing on the bones. [She was absolutely right about that.] Book In Touch. You will feel better.

I'm a big girl so it to me, not Ellie, a few minutes to get into a comfortable position. But Ellie was so patient with me and never made me feel like I was being annoying...lol. I know with regular sessions I am going to feel wonderful! Next time though, I'm going to have Ellie come to my home, so that as soon as she's finished, I can take a nap!
