I had a 6 inch lift kit installed on my RV by WeldTec Designs, and the difference has been night and day. Before the upgrade, I constantly scraped the bottom of my RV trying to get into my side access driveway, even with 12 pieces of 2x4 laid out to ease the angle. On the road, especially when big rigs passed me or on windy days, the RV would sway so much it felt like I had to fight to keep it straight. Every bump or turn meant gripping the wheel tight and bracing for the sway. Driving my RV had become more of a chore than the fun, relaxing experience it was supposed to be. It added stress to what should have been family time. After the lift was installed, I noticed an immediate improvement. On my drive home, it was windy and big rigs passed me just like before, but I barely noticed. It's amazing how used to white knuckle driving I had become. Now, I feel much more stable and in control. Best of all, I cleared my driveway without needing to lay down a single piece of wood. While some people use their lifted rigs for rough off road adventures, I'm more of a beach day and family campsite kind of RV owner. But even for that kind of use, this lift kit has made a huge difference. What used to feel like a stressful chore is now something I actually look forward to again. I bought a 3" cast spindle lift kit for my 2004 Chevy Express. Upon receiving the shipment, both left and right cast spindles had porosity in the casting. The bearing bolts even sunk into the casting when torqued down. This is extremely concerning and very un-safe if the casting broke on the road. Buyer beware! I do not trust WeldTechs quality control to let an obvious problem like this ship out on BOTH spindles. Also, the bearing bolts supplied with the casting were obviously milled down Grade-8 bolts and even still did not fit in the spindle. Generally WeldTec has very low build quality and in my case, unsafe products. After a long back and forth with WeldTech they did eventually refund the spindles. If you choose to purchase from WeldTec, double/triple check everything before installation. If you pay them to install, check your vehicle. I would not use WeldTec products if they were free. read more

I got my 2024 Thor Axis motorhome stock crappy suspension swapped out with a new WeldTec Designs 4" lift adventurer suspension along with a new stiffer steering stabilizer. It is such a great upgrade for the ride and steering stability and also a quieter ride since the interior items don't get bounced around as violently in the cabinets. The motorhome tracks down the highway so much better now and the new alignment is straight as a arrow. These Class A motorhomes are built on a Ford E-series Class C chassis and have a pretty low ride height so the 4" lift is very welcome and helps get over high speed bumps and steep street dips and I don't hit the curbs with the body any longer. I got the suspension in Mid April 2024 and just got back from a two week 4,700 mile trip from San Diego to Nashville and back home and it performed fantastic the whole trip and I had no issues. If you have a Ford Chassis Class C or a Thor Axis or Vegas, I highly recommend WeldTec suspensions to get them up out of the weeds and to enjoy your RV driving experience a lot more. It's not cheap buts it is worth the cost if you have the finances to swing it and hate your current driving experience and ground clearance. I found WeldTec on YouTube and since he was local to me it made perfect since to get the upgrade. I love my Axis MH so much more now and can't wait to take another long road trip in it. read more

I'll start by saying the components are pretty dialed in and after making a bunch of adjustments the ride is amazing, I used there 6 in suspension system, just to be fair I'm a professional builder so I'm very particularly on how my equipment performs. The provided fox shocks that are NOT the proper shocks ( sorry guys) they are made for sprinter Van's and not valved correctly. There a proprietary shock from Weldtec supplier. I ended up using a off the shelf fox 2.0 tes LCD shock and valved it to my weight both front and rear I also changed the front lower mounts for a longer shock. I don't want to say anything bad because WT was easy to work with and supportive. I'm just very particularly. This class c 29 foot drives amazing and would definitely recommend there kits. read more

Great experience with my Roadtrek! I am super pleased with the 5" lift on my 2012 Chevy 3500 extended Roadtrek (2013) camper van. The kit was shipped to and installed by a local off-road shop (Essentially Off-Road, Murfreesboro TN, also great!) Alyssa and Jeremy answered all my questions and made sure I got the right match for my vehicle. I opted for the progressive leaf springs, and the ride quality has been excellent. I highly recommend this upgrade from Weldtec to Roadtrek owners. If you are familiar with the Chevy Roadtreks, you know they are pretty low to the ground. In fact one of the underside tanks had scraped the road previously. If you own a Chevy or Ford based class B RV, take a good look at Weldtec. I ordered an Ocotillo Cruiser kit for my Ford E-Series. At first I loved it, but I've been through four alignments with two shops and everyone is telling me that the radius arm is improperly sized causing a pull. Cannot fix with alignment cams. Weldtech told me and my alignment shop separately that they do not use jigs or templates to build their kits so there is natural variation. Straight out of Jeremy's mouth to my ears. I am not willing to accept a constant pull in my vehicle due to their inconsistent workmanship. While they were communicative at first on install questions, they have ignored my last calls and emails and are not cooperating to help resolve my issues. I strongly recommend against buying their E-Series lift kits considering how inconsistent they are. I have two friends with the same issue and have since read multiple reviews of the same issue. Do not buy into their fancy YouTube videos and marketing like I did. They do not support their products or respond when you have problems. read more

Beware of this guy! The owner, Jeremy, is a liar and a crook! He quoted a job for me at $1,500, and after it was complete he handed me a bill for over $3,200. I understand $200, $500, maybe even $700 more for unforeseen costs, but more than double the original quote!? For a guy that has over 20 years experience you would think he knows how to estimate the price accurately. He lied about his hourly rate, lied about how many hours he spent "grinding," and LIED about having to borrow a trailer that he already had to try and make it sound like I was getting a deal.
