The stores are preparing for Easter and the Spring season so there are many pretty pastels to choose from. Many of you know that my favorite color is pink. But I also enjoy a milky banana or sunshine yellow. There was plenty. I only shopped at a few stores today as hubby was working so it was easy for me to be in and out. He takes a little more time with his selections than I do. There is a really nice coffee shop that opened up in the place of Starbucks. Right next door is a macaroon shop. You can always buy mangoes, ice cream and churros. Grabbed a few items for upcoming birthday surprises and headed on my way.

Warehouse 55 is a collection of vintage items and repurposed furnishings mixed with many one of a kind treasures. Here you will find old and new..something for every aesthetic . Over 2 stories of various vendors..prices vary depending on the product . A nice feature they offer is if you are undecided and get home,you can shop many of the items online by vendor or product. Will have to go again after the Holidays for more treasure hunting.

Several vendors here have purchased new items and are selling them: pins from your favorite shows like Friends, cheap jewelry from overseas and candles with kitschy sayings. That's always such a turn off for me. The actual vintage pieces are very cool- I walked with several jewelry scores! The owner was at the front while I was checking out when I asked for a deal on 2 of the most expensive pieces in my pile. He basically responded "no" with no further explanation. I wished there was a bit of wiggle room after spending quite a bit of money.

We ended up spending most of our day here at the Fox Valley Mall. My husband, as well as myself, enjoyed some eats at the food court and being able to visit loads of stores under one roof. There are 2 shopping floors and the bottom floor (labeled FC on the elevator) is the food court, although there is some food on the shopping floors like the 2 different Auntie Anne's storefronts, one on the upper level and one on the lower level. Bathrooms were abundant and clean. The floors were also well kept up without being slippery. If I lived nearby I could see myself being a mall walker here because there is tons of space.
