Navigating a store with a baby is already exhausting, but being verbally insulted by staff for making a completely normal, polite request is entirely unacceptable. Picked up a…read moresweet vintage sweater that was marked $10, put it up at the counter with some other things (so I could shop hands free) and kept wandering for a bit. After perusing a while longer I went to check out. Was told the total was $31 and some change..... I was so confused and asked how (the real price should have been $21 something) so she goes on to say "oh yeah the sweater is $20, that's $10 and half off and those are so and so and so and so". Well, that's odd - I thought.... But I wanted the sweater so I just paid to get out of there. (Paid cash like an idiot and didn't get a receipt ) Got to my car to check the price tag on the sweater and what do ya know?? She took it every other price tag was still intact on every other item I purchased (as I know some antique stores save the tags for the separate vendors to keep track) so now it's double Hinky!! I'm bummed I didn't go back in and ask to see the tag but what can I do now. Oh well, live and learn. Hang onto your items if you shop here otherwise you're liable to fall prey to the age old switcharoo!

The place is super packed but we were able to navigate well enough with strollers. But being packed to the gills just means it's that much more likely you'll find just the thing you're looking for. I ended up with a Swiftie t-shirt for my kiddo because my friend handed it to her and then she would not part with it. The employees were friendly and talkative, and one of them I think was the owner. I liked the store a lot and as I said, it's a great place for souvenirs. I don't live close to Geneva but that's the only reason I wouldn't shop here. If I had known about the place before I went home a few weeks ago, I probably would have visited because I was looking for a place to get some souvenirs for my friends kids, and may keep them in mind for the next visit home for exactly that reason.

Understood what I needed and because I am on a weight loss program found me similar jeans that were on sale! I was in and out and able to try them on in less than 30 min. There are multiple factors that place into the price per bottle. Just know that they still apply to the bulk discount. The owner/employee will explain how it works to you. I don't want to attempt to do it and misspeak. Third. They have their own brand of sodas. So not only can you get brands from across the nation, but you can get some specially made for them. fourth... go back often, they have a steady rotation of stock so something might not be there one time, but will be the next. She couldn't put them on the open empty table behind the register because that was "her work area" and we couldn't put them to the side in the back out of the way because people could trip over it. There was 2 other people in the store...up front. Was told we could pay for the pop, leave and put in car, then come back and shop for more items. Nope... not coming back. You lost over $500 business this visit alone. We have been coming here for many years, hence knowing to come today for what we needed. Every time we've been here in the past, especially busy summer season and during festivals, the people working here were overly helpful, friendly and would always TAKE our full baskets and put on that table behind the counter so we could get empty ones and shop for more. They would give us 4 pack bottle holders or cartons to put pop bottles in as well. So I know everything out of her mouth was a lie. Will not be coming back. You need to review the work ethic and customer service skills with the people you hire. I'm one that never complains about things and chaos a lot up to "having a bad day" but this was ridiculous.

Prices can be a bit high but worth it IMO. Coffee vendor right as you walk in which makes the place smell awesome! The staff were very helpful as we tried to find some silly specific Xmas ornaments for a party. Although we didn't find those, we bought several Christmas presents and stocking stuffers and were tempted by lots more. Will certainly be back.
