You wont be given a "personal touch" from this agency! The nurse evaluator told me how many…read moreservices my husband would receive, where when I spoke with the intake coordinator told me he would receive less services. Then when they called me, because I didn't pickup the phone, didn't leave a message. I then called and asked for information from a scheduler who needed to speak to their supervisor and said she would call me back which she didn't call back until 2 work days later. Then I found out they didnt have a speech therapist to take my husband's case. I got in touch with a home health aide (hha) supervisor who successfully set up a hha to start on the next business day. The hha was lovely and I had no complaints there. After 2 hha visits, I find out that the contract ends in 8 days and I now have to cancel appointments to get all the contracted services. The physical therapist evaluator who was scheduled never called to confirm and didnt show up and called me later and will show up to tomorrow. There is no way my husband is going to receive all of the mandated PT and OT services in the allotted time frame. I'm extremely unhappy with this agency and DO NOT RECCO.MEND this organization.

She was very nice and helped get all my services but towards the end of my services I got billed for one of these services. So she admitted she made a mistake. She called the company to try to resolve the problem and she was so unprofessional. She hung up on the individual and when they called her back several times she refused to answer the phone. Anyway, it was her last day. She had me do her job call and try to resolve it. She didn't not pay the outstanding bill and was M.I.A. She said she would pay it. When I called the office they kept saying it wasn't her fault and that Lavern wouldn't know what my insurance covered. I couldn't believe it. Now I'm afraid I am going get a bill for all services and they just abandoned me with bills. I called to see is the doctor will continue to see me and I've gotten no response. The doctor himself said that he will continue to come even if my service is over. I would not trust this company. WARNING: Serious Safety Issues…read more I would strongly caution anyone considering Special Touch Home Health Care to look elsewhere. My experience with this agency involved negligence, untrained aides, missed coverage, and a complete lack of transparency, all of which put my uncle's safety at risk. On multiple occasions, the agency failed to send a scheduled home health aide, leaving a vulnerable patient without care. When aides were sent, some were clearly untrained and unable to safely perform basic tasks, including transfers. Most alarming, an aide sent by this agency allowed my uncle to fall twice within a two-hour period. Even worse, the agency did not notify me about the second fall or that EMS was called. I only discovered this by reviewing footage from my in-home security cameras. This kind of lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable in home health care. Despite repeated emails and complaints, the agency showed a cavalier and dismissive attitude, failed to take responsibility, and did not implement meaningful corrective action. These are not isolated mistakes--they point to systemic problems with training, staffing, and oversight. If you are caring for a loved one, I strongly encourage families who experience issues with this agency to also report concerns to: Medicaid / Managed Care Plans State Department of Health Waiver programs (such as NHTD) Accrediting and oversight agencies Public reviews matter, but formal complaints are what protect patients and force accountability. When you plead to get a different home attendant you get yelled at and they send you substitute for one day to come down and then same girl again. It used to be better, now this office and their workers are horrible monsters. Even their home attendant admits that it's America and everything bought with money.
