I highly recommend Welch PT. So did my spinal surgeon's office as well as my pain management clinic, which is how I ended up there. Claudia at the front desk is spot-on. She knows who I am, my copay amounts, the times I prefer, etc., and makes me feel like a part of the family. The young folks who work on the floor (Ricky, Eric, Gabby, Baillie, Matt, and others) have learned who I am, adjust my services to my daily condition, and answer questions when I need them--though many of the things I do at this point are self-directed, which is fine with me. Finally, James, my physical therapist, is the reason I am walking upright on a daily basis. He works on me and never makes me feel like he's having to rush, we laugh and listen to energizing 80s rock while he works on me and stretches me out, and he answers my (many) questions. At this point, my legs are much more even in length when I go in, and he always gets them to line up so that I've been able to walk with less pain and with no lift in my left shoe. I can honestly say I've come light years from where I was when I went in to the office the first time, both physically and emotionally. Pain is a humbling and devastating feeling on so many levels, and when I went in, I didn't even feel like the strong, athletic, capable woman that I know I am. I cannot even explain how much I love this place! I was in a car accident in December and wasn't able to get into the large corporation's quickly. My lawyer told me he highly recommended this place. I was in a lot of pain before going in. From the moment I called to set up my appointment to my therapy has been amazing. Not only was I going for myself, but my daughter who was in the vehicle was attending as well. Doing the intake with Guy was great. He made my daughter feel at ease, joked around with her and promised he would help get us moving great again. After the intake we met the wonderful assistance from Gabby, Matt, Ricky, Eric, Natalie, Aubrey, and many many more. Then meeting my amazing therapist Heather. I joke with her that she beats me up, but she truly is making progress and assisting in my issues from the accident. My daughter was lucky enough to have Rachel who was a student who graduates in May. We are still currently going to therapy and my daughter who is almost 10 is excited when we have therapy! To me this is a huge win. We are so thankful for this amazing group of people! I can't speak to the past negative reviews, as I have been more than satisfied with my experience. I have been to other therapists before Welch, and I will never go to another therapist based on the treatment I have received from Welch. I had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, and have been going to Welch since a few days after the surgery. I have always been greeted with a smile by Claudia at the front desk, and she tirelessly works with me to make sure I have appointments which fit my schedule. My therapist is Doc Brandon, who is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. 4 months after surgery and I feel I am well ahead of the curve in my recovery thanks to the personal, quality attention I have received from Doc. I am confident that I would not be where I am at in this stage of recovery had I not been introduced to this therapist. The icing on the cake is all the cheery assistants who provide encouragement and motivation (making sure I don't cheat with any exercises), which drives me to work harder at each session. I don't mean for this review to sound so "glowing", but I honestly feel that strongly about the quality of care I have received at this practice, and would recommend them above other therapists in the valley. read more

There are more smiles in the office than any other place! I am extremely impressed with this office and staff as they are all genuine, no fake friendliness. I have had to have physical therapy several times in my life and this is the first office that makes you feel welcome. I was really impressed that the owner, Guy, personally came over and introduced himself to me. The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in the door to the time you walk out the door. Claudia, at the front desk, always greets me by name and says goodbye when I leave, with a smile. She is very helpful in making appointment to fit my schedule. The therapy staff is also very friendly, again I was made to feel welcome. Chris, my therapist, is the best. He always asks how I did between appointments and asks how I am doing while working with me during my appointment. He is genuinely concerned. The therapy techs are on the ball and keep me going on my routine. If I need something they are more than happy to help, yes with a smile. The office, gym and equipment are clean and I'm sure they would smile if they could. I strongly recommend Welsh Physical Therapy, and will return if I need therapy in the future. read more

I've been coming to Welch PT for approximately 1 month and everyone here is so great! Feels like a second family. James is my physical therapist, a doctorate level and he is so much better than my other physical therapists that I've had in the past few years... there's no comparison. He's helping my ankle, shoulder, neck and back and psoaz. Other physical therapist have isolated my injury to my ankle, but he discovered it is due to my psoaz muscle. Guy Welch the owner, is the leader of the pack and amazing and attentive to my physical injuries. Bailie (and her beautiful lashes), DJ, Tommy, and Andrew, Adam and Victoria and the whole team are always so energy enthusiastic and compassion about helping me. My other physical therapist offices I was on a 30 minute time limit, but at Welch PT, they give with all types of exercises until I'm done. I love the heating pads, ice packs, tens unit, traction and learning simple exercises that I can do at home to promote my rapid healing. I highly, highly recommend this group! Welch Physical Therapy has been incredible during my recovery after having a shoulder surgery done a few weeks ago. The staff in the front of house are extremely friendly and engaging, as well as being very thorough. Also, everyone within the physical therapy area is positive, knowledgeable, and more importantly, happy. The Welch Team works well together and they have an easy process where anyone and everyone offers help and guidance on the recovery process. My main trainer has been Chris, who demonstrates an extremely high level of professionalism and knowledge in his approach and execution. He was able to explain to me specifics regarding my surgery, as well as resources to review at home if needed. Lastly, the owner of the business, Guy, is very hands on as well walking thru the business and saying hello and introducing himself. This adds a valuable personal touch that I very much appreciate and this type of ownership/management style is contagious and is seen in every single person that works there as well. I started using Guy and his awesome team of therapists and techs over 15 years ago and our entire family uses them for absolutely any therapy rehab needed. Now that the kids are grown he continues to be their "go to" for therapy needs. His facility is always clean and well maintained, his entire staff including the front office know the importance he puts on his clients and that he wants the optimum results for each and every patient. Guy is well experienced in his business and I've seen many clients return for their additional injury needs as time goes on. If you want an excellent therapist who goes the extra mile to talk you through your rehab and who listens intently to your concerns - always with care and a smile you'll never need to go anywhere else. I had injured by shoulder and my PCP recommended physical therapy. My immediate request was that he give me a referral to Welch Physical Therapy because last year I had so much pain in my hip and lower back that I could hardly walk. At that time I was referred to Welch Physical Therapy. Their staff was so attentive, professional and easy to talk to about what seemed to be helping and what more I needed. James, my primary therapist, was excellent and very personable as well. I can report that within a short time I was walking without pain and by the end of my several sessions I was completely healed of my pain and could return to taking my daily 2-3 mile walks. I had one session today with James for my shoulder issues and the pain in my shoulder has already lessened somewhat. I am confident that upon completing my 8 sessions I will get the same positive results I had when I saw them for my hip and lower back problems. I came to Welch Physical Therapy 3 years ago with an ankle injury. The quality of care I received was so great, that there was no hesitation where I would go after my shoulder surgery in October of 2023. I'm back! From the moment you walk in, the friendliness of the office staff makes you feel welcomed. Entering the therapy room that first day, even though I felt vulnerable and nervous, I was quickly reminded of how professional and knowledgeable the staff is. Heather is who I requested to have back as the one who works on my tightness in my shoulder to help me get my range of motion back. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and trusting, as she gets the job done. I've been attending to sessions at Welch for a few weeks now due to a bad car accident I was in. Not only have they listened to what my concerns have made every session accustomed to what my body has needed even if has changed a little each time. The facility is very clean and I've seen the techs maintain the equipment after each patient uses them. I love how easy the front desk is to reach if needed and how they help schedule you as you need around your schedule. The Techs are all friendly! I've seen Maddie the last few times and she is so sweet especially making sure if I need help with understanding how to do one of the workouts, she shows lots of patience when demonstrating each one. My therapist Caden (I hope I spelt that right!) is also very friendly. Making sure my work outs are what I need that day and checking on how they are helping me. Overall I feel very cared for and grateful to find a place to help me heal after the unfortunate event that caused me to need to go. I highly recommend Welch physical therapy. read more

You can actually look forward to visiting this physical therapist. Guy Welch is the guy who can take care of almost any pain or joint you can think of, even if you're twisted up like a pretzel. I have been to four different physical therapists for wrist rehab, ankle rehab and shoulder rehab, and Guy Welch treated my shoulder replacement with the utmost care. Now if you want to laugh and listen to some good stories while you've getting a limb manipulated, Guy is the one you you need. But let us not fool ourselves -- rehab does hurt, but Guy makes it less painful with his kindness and sense of humor. I have been coming here for the last 3.5 months for 2-3 times per week after my shoulder surgery for my labrum tear and I love these guys. Now I have never had to do physical therapy before, but I'm glad I chose this place. It has a positive and relaxing vibe that was perfect for my recovery. The techs are great here, because they work hard and give you the best service that they can, all the while getting to know you, if you want them to. My physical therapist Brandon was awesome as well, because he was very personable and helped my shoulder feel better. I even had their physical therapist assistant Heather work on my shoulder a couple of times, and even though her style was slightly different, I enjoyed her working on my shoulder too. Now my shoulder feels better than ever and I believe it had to do with choosing this place for my recovery. After several years of chronic back problems due to motor vehicle accidents and a back injury, I have finally found relief with the attention and care from this amazing team of therapists and staff. My initial meeting with Guy sure set the tone as he listened to my concerns and issues and then explained a specific exercise plan and goal. My therapist James is absolutely incredible with his wealth of knowledge, skills and assessments. The team of therapists are such a pleasure to work with and they take the time and attention to observe that the exercises are being done properly. This is my third week of therapy and in each session I learn something new about my own body. I am finally allowing myself the time and patience to retrain and strengthen the areas addressed and have been very pleased with my results. This place is GREAT. If you are looking for a place to heal this is the right place to go. The first thing that hits you when you walk into the room is the atmosphere. It's like a big family here. The staff is all smiles and friendly with the guests as well as each other. I feel completely comfortable here and never judged. I have came here before with a wrist injury that after my first visit felt a million times better than when I first walked in there. I requested to come back to this location when I broke my foot and got CRPS. I've been back working with them for about a month or two and I have healed immensely. Chris takes time every visit to help me with my foot and navigate this nerve pain. When I came in I couldn't walk at all. And now I am in a regular shoe and walking so much better! I was hurting after being rear-ended in a motor vehicle accident and heard from a friend that Welch Physical Therapy was a great choice. I was told they provided comprehensive, friendly care. Claudia got me in the next morning after I called, and I was not disappointed. Guy and James took the time to assess my injuries and plan my course of treatment as I went. The environment was so pleasant, my rehabilitation was almost like play! Nevertheless, it was very effective. While I felt so many times better as my treatment progressed and concluded, I was sad to go. The providers and staff greet and look after the patients and make it as much a pleasure as they can under the circumstances. Heather was usually the one working with me. She listened well and was very compassionate. I would not hesitate to recommend Welch to anyone seeking therapeutic care. I was referred by my orthopedic surgeon after left shoulder surgery and I am EXTREMELY happy with Welch PT. The Owner, Guy, was the one who worked with me on my first visit. Took the dressing off, cleaned up my shoulder, showed me the ins and outs of the sling. Scheduling has been a breeze. I have had to change my "going back to work" date and it's been no problem to move my appt times to afternoon from morning or vice versa. I've also been able to schedule the entire month of September out. The PT team is excellent. Bailie, Tommy, Victoria, Heather, G, they're all great and take time to work with you on exercises (sorry if I missed some people). It is what you make it and attitude makes a difference. If you don't do the exercises at home, you just put yourself farther behind. I will probably have surgery on my right shoulder in 18 months - 2 years from now and will have no problem using Welch PT again. read more

But it was when I started my treatment with them that I could experience all that. During my first session with my Physical Therapist Brandon I was very impressed with his high level of professionalism, kindness and care. The same impression I had with the front desk receptionists and the Physical Therapy Exercise Technicians. All of them were very courteous and efficient. I have had a beyond excellent experience with Welch Physical Therapy. I went in due to two small tears in my rotator cuff, resulting in a maximum 45 degree angle as the most I could raise my left arm, and then only with major pain. Physical therapist Dr. Caden Alexander and his very well trained staff guided me through a regimen that has resulted in me walking out the door with painless, full motion with that arm. Staff watched me closely to make sure I was doing each exercise to get maximum benefit with each. I especially liked the fact that I was instructed to back off any exercise that was causing me pain. Very impressed! I simply cannot recommend them more highly. p.s. Due to arthritis I have a lot of experience with PT (2 new knees and back stuff for example). I'd struggled with headaches, neck pain and other neurological problems for a long time. Pills didn't help and other doctors were unable to give me any definitive diagnosis or find the source of the problem. My neurologist ended up referring me to Welch and I was a little skeptical at first. But after talking to James for a few minutes I was not only given a diagnosis but a source of the problem (my awful posture), he even showed me a few simple stretches that immediately helped. I was pleasantly surprised! The rest of the staff continued to help me feel at ease and help me recover. The ladies in the front office are so friendly! The techs are so kind and so attentive. Guy usually is on the floor joking with patients. Everyone in the office is professional and personable. I only have the best things to say about this office and their staff.
