On 5/18/23, I had one of their techs to come to my house due to the fact that outlets in two rooms were not working. The tech spent 2.5 hours in my home (I believe that was purposed to get more money) testing outlets and called himself trying to troubleshoot the issue. He also pulled the panel off the breaker box to check to see if one of the breakers were bad and that was not the problem. There were some outlets that he stated he needed to check that could have been causing the problem that he was not able to get to. He then stated that he would possibly need to cut a hole in the wall and check to see if there was a break somewhere in the line. Long story short, after all that time at my home, nothing repaired and still having no power in the two rooms, Weisman charged me $545.00 just to test outlets and repair NOTHING!!! I sent a comment out to Weisman later that day to address my concerns and someone did call me back and state that they would send a Master tech out the next day with the tech who came previously to see if the problem could be resolved. I asked if there would be an additional charge for the next day service since I already gave $545.00 and nothing was done, she stated that she did not know. The next day, they sent someone to my home and called me to let me know the tech was at my home. Since they never told me if an additional charge would be added, I cancelled the appointment. A few days later they sent me a bill in the mail stating that I owed them $75.00 for a cancellation. I believe that I should be reimbursed the $545.00 that I already paid them for services that they never even provided. They should have just charged me a trip charge of $75.00 since they never completed the service. I reached out to them again after getting the bill and they have yet to reply back, but I guarantee they will send me another bill stating I still owe them $75.00 plus a 3.5% service charge for a late fee. Guess I will have to report them to the BBB as well as do what others do in this case, get the news media involved, bad publicity is not good for any business' these days. read more

This company has the worst attitude towards its customers. They really should allow people to leave a big fat ZERO stars, because that's what Casey and his cousin Mike have earned. I called them about a problem in the front part of my house - four electrical outlets had stopped working. Their guy came, fixed one outlet on the first floor, and did not fix the other three on the second floor. Charged $130.00. I called the next day and explained that I wanted them to come back out and complete the repair. The receptionist took all of the information and said Mike would come out to take a look at it and give me an estimate of what it would take to fix. We set a date and time. The date came and Cousin Mike calls me at the time he was supposed to be at my house and says, "What's the problem here?" I said "the problem, Mike, is that you didn't finish the job." It was clear he did not want to come out to my house to look at the issue. Then he said, "I want to make clear we are not coming back out to fix one single other item except the electrical outlets that you called about." I said, "That's fine, because all I am asking for is for your company to finish the job that I have already paid for." He went on and on and implied I was trying to get additional work out of them. It was very insulting. Their guy comes out again, looks at the outlets on the second floor, can't figure out what is going on and says, I'll have to come back out tomorrow and spend a couple of hours trying to figure this out. I said, that's fine, because I need working outlets. I was fully prepared to pay for him to come back out to figure out the problem. That night, owner Casey calls me and says, "I'm about to leave the office, but my guy is not going to come out there to fiddle around for two hours. I will send him out if you pay $800 for a whole day." He wanted $800 to fix three electrical outlets! It was beyond ridiculous. Their attitude is totally anti-customer service, they are rude and insulting and you should not use this company - ever. read more

Half did job and Mike was extremely rude. Worst attitude towards a customer and only cared about gaining more business.

Various electric work was completed in timely manner. Costs and workmanship was best I've had. Office personnel was polite and very helpful. Will definately use them again and recommend them to family and friends. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. And why are all previous reviews now gone? Curious. Weisman electricians were 3.5 hours late for the job. The receptionist could provide no status updates to me when I wanted to know where they were, because supposedly the electricians would not answer their phones. When they arrived, I asked them how long the job would take. "No more than 1 hour" was the answer. It was a very very simple job, probably something most electricians could do in 30 minutes or less. The electricians spent 1 hour at my home, doing a poor job (the ceiling fan wobbles like crazy on the rod), and handed me a bill for TWO hours. I was very upset. The explanation that I was given was that they had to charge me for their time traveling from a previous job to my house, and then from my house to their next job. They also charged me for their fuel. SERIOUSLY? They were at my home for less than an hour - why should I be charged for their travel time? They said it was policy. Utterly ridiculous. I placed a call to the manager, and never received a call back. Really, really terrible. I should be billing Weisman back for my lost time at work...I don't have time to sit around for 1/2 day waiting for them when I supposedly scheduled their first appointment in the morning. I would stay far, far away from using them. And I wonder why all the previous reviews (that were poor) are now gone? read more

Update 3/6/18 Had great service in the past, the last year it has dramatically plummeted. I will summarize by saying that Weisman never seems to miss an opportunity to create a billable conversation. The company recently troubleshooted a problem by replacing expensive parts repeatedly until I stopped calling. Some of those repairs were not authorized by me. The final straw was a catastrophic failure of my generator which resulted in a life threatening injury. Make sure you know what work is being done. If you feel something is off, call the manufacturer. I wish I had done that sooner. I had an ACCT with them for six years, I was very happyin the past. I switched firms, I survived and am healing. Lesson learned. read more

The guys showed up and started banging away at our community dock at 7am, without regard whatsoever to anyone sleeping in the homes surrounding the pier. I asked them to stop making noise until 8am and one of the men responded they were just working on the dock, as if that made it okay. Thankfully our pier committee representative soon came by to check on the work and told them to cool it until 8am. I called the office and Tina told me their work day started at 7, as if that made it okay, no matter what the job or where. Would NOT recommend! read more

We had used this company in the past with good success. However, in two recent jobs we have had bad experiences. In one, they charged three hours to do a small switch repair job and a diagnosis of a power outage (beware they also charge at least a half hour for travel time regardless of your location). In the other, the technician charged a half hour for totaling up the materials charges on the bill (had to call the office to get costs for each material used!). In reviewing the bill totals I found they were over-stated by more than $100 and had to go to their office to get a new bill. In both cases I felt gouged an under-served. We won't use them again. read more

It took them 7 ( SEVEN) hours to install an attic fan on a 8/12 Pitch roof. The invoice was $919.00. At $120 an hour, 130 the first hour, and $69 for materials ( I provided the attic fan). They charge you from the time they leave their location not when they arrive to your house. They came unprepared and their manager had to drive to home depot to bring them the materials they needed to complete the job. When I talked to the office manager (Mike) to discuss my concerns that it took them way too long to finish the job he was dismissive. If you want to pay master electrician rates and get amateurs hire Weisman Electric Co. read more

They took on a very hard project, one that others turned down and did a great job. Their electricians were very nice guys and did a great job cleaning up after the job. Highly recommended read more

Two young gents showed up a little late. I asked for them to run a dedicated line from a basement circuit panel to an icemaker directly above it. Between two joists and through a floor. They did not have tools to drill through a tile floor or a standard breaker to put in the panel, They also had only a 3 foot stick to fish a wire. Fortunately, I had a breaker. They spent about one hour putting one 14/2 electric line onto a dedicated circuit breaker which I provided and left it in a coil at the circuit panel because they were unable to actually install it. They charged $277 for two hours ($65/hour main guy and $30/hour for helper) which included 30 minutes to arrive at my home. They would not leave until I paid. I called the company four different times over a few months afterwards and each time was kindly told that the owner would call me to discuss this. The owner never called and I finally wrote this off to a learning experience. I strongly recommend not using these folks. And yes, I should have simply done this myself. read more

Way way too expensive. (fuel, equipment usage - which they own, etc.) The pad the bill with every kind of fee you can imagine. They start billing from the time they start leaving the office, not from the time they arrive at your location. Then they sprinkle in fees all over the place. Huge rip-off. Lousy issue resolution process - won't admit to anything. Never again. read more

The work done by and the Weismann team was superb. They are the politest people I've had come snd do work at my house. I'm an electrical engineer, but I wasn't comfortable doing the work myself. they addressed my issue (faulty light switch and outlet) in a no nonsense manner. I did research this time as my last electrical service was done by a horrible company whose technician lied. Weismann rates were on the lower end, their integrity in dealing with the cost up front will have me going to them from now on. I'm having them give me an estimate for a in house generator, I'll let you know how that goes!! read more

Very happy with the prompt response and level of service provided by the the electrician that helped with the problems at my home. I would highly recommend calling Weisman Electric if you want the job done on time and right the first time. read more

Neil answered all my questions and quickly provided a reasonable quote for the work. I was able to schedule the team in just a few days. The team lead by Adam was absolutely fantastic. They were on time, knowledgeable, and even had a great attitude. They did high quality work, they cleaned up after themselves and worked through lunch to get the work done. So very pleased and I could NOT be happier!!! Will be using them again shortly. read more

HORRIBLE!!! They took an outdoor light from our backyard to find a replacement. The electrician took the light, placed it in his van and was off. IT's BEEN OVER A YEAR and no replacement and they hardly return calls. I even told them it doesn't have to be the same, but please be fair. I've text, emailed, sent pictures of our other lights and when I follow up they still ask the same questions, "Can you send pictures?" Can you find the lights on-line" I've given them what they needed over and over. They even asked me to go through catalogs and find the light? They are the experts and should know. Reader, are you laughing out loud yet? To add to my nightmare they wanted to charge me to attache the replacement to the wires. I keep thinking this has to be the longest prank ever. I tried being nice. I've tried being patient to the point I'm the Fool. They are not a trustworthy and do not stand by their word or work. read more

Called to have them help me do the electric on our air conditioning unit. The showed up fast, got done fast, and we were good to go!
