I've cancelled several prescriptions multiple times. When I get a notification that my prescription…read moreis ready for pick up, I assume I'm picking up the right thing because I've cancelled and confirmed with a staff member that the unneeded meds are actually off my account. I don't know if they don't care enough to actually follow through or what the issue is, but also when I pick up they don't tell you what you're picking up before you pay. After you pay for it they won't refund, even if it's their fault for filling something you've cancelled. Shouldn't the pharmacist also be looking at all your prescriptions before they fill it and catching it if you're getting an abnormal amount of the same med? I really don't know, but they just don't seem to care. I would not recommend using this as your pharmacy.

The cost of my original monitor was $85.99 and I exchanged it for one priced at $59.99. The exchange went well but, since this was medical equipment, I had to take the $15 difference as a gift card. Annoying but not a deal breaker, until I went to redeem the card. It was valued at $1.00 and there was no possibility of disputing the value without both the original and the exchange receipts. Yet another time that Walgreen's policies and practices cost me either time or money.

This place is no better or worse than an average CVS. Somtimes they're very helpful sometimes…read morethey're just adequate and sometimes not very helpful . I'm guessing that the most people do not leave reviews after a good experience only a as one and that's a shame. This place is open late so it deserves some recognition just for that. They cannot e held responsible for misbehaving homeless people in the parking lot. If you're scared leave and go so where else.

Very poorly run store. Possible cases: 1) the entire store is affected by untreated depression, 2)…read morethe educational system has failed the employees, or 3) it's a jobs program for those unable to find work elsewhere. It was that bad. To the point I's feel sorry for the employees if they didn't make me run around for 40 minutes trying to find 2 items (honestly). Needed one item. Asked pharmacy. They told me to go to the front. The front sent me to the back. They finally looked and then a second person in the pharmacy at the back directed me correctly. Made purchase and returned to car. Fine. 2 min later realized I needed something else. Went back in the store, checked aisles because honestly I didn't want to interact with these people who clearly hated being there. Couldn't find it, so I asked the front. Same story--kid told me to check the back. At pharmacy in the back, they told me to check with the front because the front stocks the shelves. Are you kidding me??? Why does a business (esp a pharmacy) exist except to provide a service people are willing to pay for? Spare yourself unnecessary idiocy and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Guy at the pharmacy was a stoner looking guy. Showed him a regulation about fragrance from American Medical Association and looked at me like I was from Mars. Gave it to the pharmacy manager who took a passing glance and threw it down. If you want to infuse scents, read the regs. You blame it on patrons but it wasn't like that always and is in all CVS with the same stank. Like many others, I was sad when the Safeway on 7th Street closed after 50 years in business. The pharmacy there was great! Absolutely top notch. All accounts were automatically transferred to a nearby, let's call them a 3 letter pharmacy. They're everywhere. The new place insisted on giving me only 30-day refills, which was slightly inconvenient and tripled the co-pay cost of the 90-day refills I'd been getting. So, looked around and heard good things about the Weis pharmacy out on the west side of town. I could not believe how hard these folks work to make sure you get the medicine you need at the lowest price possible. McKenzie helped me first, and I got a 90-day refill (using an on-line coupon) at no cost to me! A few days later I went back to pick up two more, different prescriptions. Again, a 90-day refill had a zero copay. The 30-day refill had a co-pay of only 97 cents! If you are looking for ways to save money, and want help from hard working pharmacists and staff who want to help you get the best deal possible, please give this place a try. I am still amazed at how much help they've given to me!
